Hi there. Please call me Jazzy (or JazzyC). For someone reason it’s become my internet alias (even if I have no idea why I came up with it). I would say go into Google and everything from JazzyC would be me, but that would be a slight lie. More than once I’ve had someone beat me to it (especially in the gaming community) even if I’ve never seen them post/play.
Actually, having just Googled myself for the first time in years, I’d say I don’t even come close to being the majority of those profiles/posts (most seem to be from women!) Which, probably says far more about me than it should.
Anyway…
I’ve recently turned 25, having been male all my life and lived in Norwich all my life (bar the time I moved up North for University).
My reasons for coming here are mixed. While not an even split, it is part social curiosity, part scientific curiosity and part help with my love life.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting a love potion in a bottle, but something that might lead to some answers (and a boost in confidence with women).
I will say now I have a tendency to ramble and spill everything when it comes to these. But, I could argue it would allow you guys to give some (hopefully) solid advice on what would work well. So, without further ado…
Since high school, or rather my experience with the opposite sex, I’ve not been a guy to like half the class. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve found alot of women attractive, but not many I would want to ask out and be with. To date, I’ve wanted to ask out (and to my credit, actually did even if it took a while) 4 women. None, I should point out ever said yes (for varying reasons both petty and good).
The last girl is part of the reason I am here.
I’ve known this girl for several years, we met through work and have become close friends. A couple of years ago she opened up to me she was having doubts about getting married (reasons I shan’t go into). Before that point we were just work friends, but after that she started giving hugs and asking to go for a drink. When going for that drink I decided to tell her I liked her.
Long-story short, we never got together and she is now happily married to her guy. We now work more closely than ever (both running the same section).
Now, before I go any further, I want to say I don’t want to jeopardise what she has. It’s going to be hard to believe that given what I’m going to say next, but it is the truth.
Over the past few months I have become increasingly confused about what she wants from me as a friend. One minute she is very professional, ignoring everything else I say or do. The next it is very flirty and touchy feely. Sometimes she wants to meet up outside of work, and the next she is busy and can’t.
My reason for using pheromones (beyond curiosity) is two-fold. Firstly, I’m looking to (when we do go out as friends) to see what she is wanting, and just how far she would go.
Secondly, I’m looking for something to help meet new women when out in bars with friends.
Previous years would see me say I lack confidence. But, the few recent experiences I have had has given me that. However, I still lack initiative, and expect them to come to me.
Well, that’s me. And I’ve potentially come off as someone who hasn’t got a clue what he is doing when it comes to women, or some sort of evil genius out to mess with women’s heads. Truth is, I’m just looking for peace of mind over the past/current friendship and I guess a new start/boost to the new me.
Please feel free to ask me anything, tell me off, support, advice. Speak to you all soon.
