New to the forum, I was actually bumbling around and looking to see if there were other products aside from those advertised by athena institute and came across this forum. I guess the only experience I have with pheromones is that product, but having read now about it I guess not many think greatly on it. I’d like to try a few things and see what works. I’m typically pretty comfortable in my own skin but I notice sometimes guys can be slow to approach me to chat…so i guess that’s something I’d like to start with. I am open to recommendations as I am in a new state for work and am meeting new people and making new friends

A real shame that Athena not works for you, but everyone is different, one works you, another one not. Slow approaching? A general problem, but IO is very effective for that. It’s the social icebreaker and small talk maker and it can be also romantic. For deeper rapport and trust is IH the better choice. You can also combine both together.

Yes many don´t think greatly on Athena .. i think it was worth the money .. but it´s an expensive fun .
MHarris ( the mastermind behind Androtics ) thinks as well that Athena works but it´s far a bit overpriced and outdated nowadays ..

If I may ask Johnny hard are those scents that you recommend for me or that you use? For both Johnny and Pago, why do you use the scents or pheromones that you do, how do you know what to put them with or what they work well with. Its ok if you roll your eyes I don’t know much just yet so I and pretty green to this…and thanks for humoring me.
First the MX series and Putative molecules are experimental mixes or single mones … They still need users to test and report on them.
The Instant Line are complete mixes and well-matched. Why we know what works? There are empirical values and the help of the research community here. Everybody helps the other ones.
What scent? I hear that coconut vanilla is really nice for women. Grapefruit is also great and unisex also the great akuto, I think it’s more oriental. Neroli also unisex is like a orange scent.

So you you know my name is Lil, I’m (XX) and live in Florida, so I am guessing pheromones will travel quickly on account of the heat. I notice my scent more when I am here as opposed to New York. I actually like the results I got/get with Athena its just very pricy; so much so I still have 2 bottles of a 6 bottle set to try to capitalize on the price, it was a birthday gift to myself that I use somewhat sparingly but mostly for myself as a pick me up. I originally tried Athena’s pheromone product somewhat out of curiosity and somewhat to see if it would make me more outgoing and social type of thing. I do have to say I was a success at both, so much so that I notice even when I don’t put any on I am now naturally inclined to start random conversations with people and I do like that about myself.
Before I started using pheromones maybe 2 years ago now I would have said I was simply and introvert, but I love socializing and enjoy people…I just didn’t know how to get out of the box so to speak. Now I don’t so much worry about that. I wonder sometimes if I appear…intimidating though, sometimes men approach me, but not usually those my age and a lot of them seem to be the “creepy…oh you’re so sexy type” that make you want to just go home and wash at the fact that looked in your direction. I don’t dress or act in a way that gives off that impression, I just don’t look my age I guess like maybe 20s but if I talk like a mature adult and act like a mature adult…I don’t know exactly where the creepy bit is ok?..it just seems an unfortunate magnet while those who may be nice don’t usually approach or converse.
I am not sure if a pheromone can do anything about that or if it might be a pheromone bit causing that odd sort of problem. I’m curious enough to want to try as I’m sure I’ll be up to dating again eventually…tough break lol but one that is more a relief to be done. I like meeting people and making friends and I like to leave my house and have meals and engage in conversation and learn about people. I somewhat new to Florida and do sometimes find it harder to be away from family so I don’t make it a chore to make friends but I found myself joining this site yesterday with the understanding that a little help can’t hurt, and it’d be a fun experiment for me also.
I like finding different fragrances I love and also the smell of my favorite perfume mixed with Athena product and how chipper I feel when I wear it, and I have found myself homesick lately so…yesterday I stumbled on this site thinking it might be time to order more, but then the Athena price just kind of slapped me across the front a bit and I was more inclined to ask questions than anything and see what smaller amount of product I can TRY even for a smaller price. People are less incline to go nuts about money when they aren’t shelling out a ton for something they don’t know how well works for them.
I have always thought people enjoy being around happy people. When I am happier I find I attract more people but I don’t know much about the science of pheromones or anything so…I’m just here to learn and kind of play and see what cool stuff I can learn about myself and people also. I’m totally prepared to make reports about it, this seems rather fun. Athena is the only pheromone I ever used before and I have it mixed with daily perfume more because of the “devil may care” and sort of happy it makes me feel, and its kind of like the contagious smile…you smile, you make someone else smile, they make someone else smile, that sort of thing. All in all I perk up a bit and I like that, but again Athena is just costly, I wouldn’t count it out…I just want to see what is out there without emptying purse strings to do so.
If I’m not doing this intro thing right please someone tell me. I read the bit about the good intro so wish me $25 lol, but I am glad to see the reasonably priced starters and thanks everyone for your recommendations to try things to start. I’m going to take a look at my first bit of products.

Bang on for fragrance
that makes sense…I find myself naturally drawn to light citris scented perfume with a light musk to it, jasmin, vanilla… and yeah coconut is a nice fun kind of kick so yeah I think you might be right about that bit
Ok so since I don’t have pheromone libraries to work with, some of my fav fragrances are: DG Light blue, a combo of cedarwood, apple, amber, jasmine, lemon Irresistible Patchouli, Fruity Notes, Vanilla, Star Anise, Rose, Rose Accord Kenneth Cole exotic woods, spices and florals combine with citrus in this enticing fragrance. and when i wear this it is more for the happy it makes me…the smell kind of makes me just smile, so I am curious what effect a pheromone will have to any or all of these, though I am new to Irrestible. on men I always find I like a sandalwood type of fragrance, but something with a fresh scent as well, I’m new to male fragrances so as I meet people I’ll post, it is true though different things smell very different on others. a CK1 on a friend smelled amazing while on another not so much.
Lilli this are scents from Androtics, you mean what perfumes I like? L’Instant de Guerlain for example an the old Shiseido Basala.
Oh! You have good effects with Athena, I thought first it is not good. Very interesting, this stuff seems to be effective.
yea I like the Athena a lot its juts sooooo expensive I am kind of scared to use the bit I have…but I definitely feel “rockstarish” when I applied the bit I have mixed with my perfume
I guess I just feet in-ed with the lot I ordered both as well as the shine and something else that I can’t recall. All in all i feel good about the price so I’ll see.

Nothing that I know of outstanding seems to happen, but maybe I am not paying that much attention. I am one of those ppl that usually has to be told by a friend that someone is staring or checking me out, I just typically don’t pick up on it. But like I said the athena mix is a more of pick me up for me.
Like how ppl may have ice cream, chocolate or shop when they are in a funk…I put this on and well the perfume itself I think is wonderful, but with athena in it, applied its just brilliant, its like it boosts the scent if that is even possible. I just love it and the best way I can describe it is to modify the consciousness to not so much…the stressors in life, but the…so what is stressing really going to change attitude.
By no means am I touting this as a wonder tonic, but I find I just don’t really let things get to me as much.
Sitting here as I write this I still smell the perfume I applied this morning. I always make sure to apply some just above my lip and below my nose (after I’ve brushed my teeth and had tea etc). It has a very calming effect and at the same time I think that brings a level of confidence…
Today at work I had 3 crucial deadlines to meet. I know I am a good clutch designer so…I wasn’t really worried but other ppl around me seemed to be stressed and I just kind of looked at them and asked why they were so worried. Not like ego, but seriously…what is there to worry about, I had already thought about the worst possible scenario and the contingency plans if that happened so…yeah I find I worry less if anything too, and not like in a narcissistic way but in a mature and logical “se la vi” fashion.
The irony of this is I’m not sure if ppl are picking up on me or the pheromone when this is my reaction to the pheromone/fragrance? Today was a pretty good day, people were typically social with me.
I had a good few visits to my desk by friend and ppl were chatty, I guess I have to pay more attention though, in the office environment I don’t typically interpret the behaviors as much as try to get my layouts finished lol.
I will use some of the items I’ve ordered and try them in the office as well as upcoming social events and post on it as well as my reactions.
Ok so its not week’s end yet but the package arrived today with the Shine, Openness and Honesty along with a surprise gift, I would have ordered some of the others but they are out of stock currently…I guess this goes fast, but I have to admit its very nice to be able to try these without breaking the bank so a huuuuuuge thanks there!
I think I will try the shine and make sure to pay attention tomorrow at work.
I am not sure if these work on the dog…but the moment I opened the package she was practically in my lap. I didn’t just get it so that “hey you’re home” excitement dulled maybe 20 minutes ago. If nothing else the dog loves it, and I have no idea what I am smelling but I love it too. It has a wonderful citrus type of punch with a light but smooth musk…man its nice whatever it is. I’ll figure it out and get back to you.
