I am a 27-year-old male hailing from the beautiful city of San Diego! I am currently pursuing a Ph.D in biochemistry/biophysics from a prestigious institution here. When I’m not trying to save the world in lab, I trade stocks, read prodigiously (about anything, really), run, bike, teach…and do a myriad of things I can’t remember!

Some might call me a “PUA” although I do not view myself as such because I do not sleep with enough women or read that type of material/forums. But yes, I do use a lot of routines, dress the role and have tremendous past experience with the community and picking up women/dating/relationships etc. I am not a novice.

Why I am here…I would call myself a naturally curious person who is willing to spend a little money to potentially discover something new. As a scientist and rational empiricist, I’m incredibly skeptical when it comes to this stuff and find this forum more than a “tad” promotional for androtics products. I’d like to see reviews of products from other companies, if possible. Stating ingredients for individual products would be great as well.

At the very least, I am enjoying my instant shine right now for its calming effect on my nerves. It smells good. Honestly, I could care less what effect it has on other people, at this point.

What I want from pheromones…anything really, whether an improvement in professional or personal relationships. Seeing any measurable difference would be great.

Welcome to the forum! It is always nice to see another scientist on the forum; there are a few of us around here.

If you want to see obvious results, my suggestion would be try Instant Honesty – its a beta-androstenol heavy mix and has been compared to truth serum in terms of its ability to encourage people to talk (and say things they would normally not say). Try a few sprays the next time you are in your office with coworkers or students. :slight_smile:

There are other guys who will be along soon to give you more detailed suggestions. Meanwhile, you’ll probably find the research subforum interesting. There are many abstracts and papers posted dealing with human pheromone research.

You should try some of the other phero “discussion” forums then - Although hosted by Androtics, this place is remarkably open compared to others and with real contribution and community - Unlike the thinly veiled promotional fluff that is common elsewhere.

As for other products - stick the name into search and see what you find. There is plenty of discussion and info about other companies and product lines here, good and bad. Ingredients are a different matter and often subject to commercial confidentially - In fact Androtics are one of the few firms to release info on proportion and dose (mcg) levels in the main commercial lines.

Most persons who came here have tried other forums and pheromone stores so you can go ahead and ask their advise and how they compare the other pheromone stores and sites to Androtics.

I am glad you already ordered and that instant shine is working so well for you.

Since you want to experiment first and foremost I suggest getting the social products and one or two of the sexual attraction pheromones.

I just store them at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. They are stable molecules under normal conditions.

Yeah, I think I’m just going to be a cheap skate and shotgun it with A314, TUTH, and IS. If I don’t notice a difference with any of these, what’s the point?

Are there any highly reputable non-androtics products that you would recommend? Ideally something that is sexual in nature. I feel like an androtics pawn on here, lol.

JV Kohl is a respected member here as well. I do recommend some good mones from pheromone dot com like scent of eros. This is similar to AMMO…

I have not tried scent of eros, but I have read numerous positive reviews of his products. There are quite a few members of this forum that use them. I have thought about trying the one for women, but I have only seen it in a floral scent base, and I don’t like floral perfumes.

I have not heard of max attraction gold.

Well, I will reiterate that if you want one single product that will give you a clear and obvious effect and convince you that pheromones do affect human behavior, try some instant honesty.

TUTH seems trickier to use IMO, in that in the wrong situation it can have opposite the desired effect, and there is a random wildcard effect to using it as people seem to vary a lot in how they respond to it, plus women respond to it differently at different times of the month and whether they are on the pill. I’m not saying it’s a bad product, not at all. I’m only saying that if trying it is going to be the pivotal factor from which you decide whether pheromones work or its all a bunch of crap, you might end up making a rash decision.

In my experience, people do differ in the degree to which they respond to instant honesty, but overall there is a very clear effect, and I’ve never heard of it repelling people, making people bitchy, etc.

I’ve noticed that most of these pheromones last ~6 hours.

For continual use throughout the day, do you keep on spraying it at those intervals or do you assume that the residual effect is suffiicent to last the day?

For instance, when you guys talk about applying 3 x AMMO early in the day, are you implying that you apply 3 x AMMO twice daily or do it once in the morning, fully expecting the strength to be sufficient for later in the day.

It seems difficult to avoid OD/proper strength with these ambiguous lengths of potency.

When I’ve been testing, the potency will depend on my internal temp, the external temps, wind and humidity. Several variables, to be sure. Usually, I may reapply later on in the day, like after lunch if I’ve applied by 8 or so.

Will you have overlap? Yes, you will. Unless, you wipe off the mone application point with alcohol swabs or witch hazel… Then, it’s not much of a problem.

For a longer burn and I’m looking for Respect Me signal all day, I’ll use my A314 oil, which depending on the variables, can last me 10 to 15 hours.

Testing on yourself helps as well! When I first started my testing with Instant Shine, I didn’t know what to expect, at which amounts I’ll see a hit, and the duration of mone exposure. I have a good idea now, but, variables can adjust those expectations some.

Yeah, right now I can’t really afford to constantly apply pheromones, so I’ve almost reached the point where I apply quite a bit early in the day and hope that there is enough left later in the day to carry a residual effect.

Example of two applications I’ve been using as of late for daily routines:

(4 x A314) + (3 x TUTH) + (4 x Instant Shine)

OR

(3 x AMMO) + (3 x TUTH) + (4 x Instant Shine)

Usually I alternate every other day between these two combinations.

Let me know your thoughts. Could I possibly be ODing? I’m not quite sure.

Also, does anyone have any opinions on Aqua Vitae or Alpha-7? Again, trying to pursue non-Androtics formulas as well.

Yes, a bit high applications for a 27 yo, but, that is in general. Some guys can handle high amounts of none or rone without much ill/OD effect. I’d scale back on the TUTH and the A314. Without testing, your guessing and that may use up more mones than you actually need.

I’d say on Alpha 7, there are several posters that have commented on it.

Yeah I’m beginning to think that I’m ODing, especially when I do not scrub thoroughly to remove the previous application.

I am not judging from other people’s reactions, I am judging from my own reaction to the pheromones. I am becoming increasingly tired and merely washing alleviates the effects. Powerful stuff.

I’m going to cut application for each pheromone by at least one spray. I’ll take it from there.

do any of you have other self-OD effects that I should look for?

Depending on the mone, but, feeling zapped of energy, tired, is very common. Some have feel that they become ‘slower’, mental processes are more difficult to churn out. These all seem to be related to Neurotransmitter depletion… this could happen with any mone product.

OD, of course, will mean that the intent of the mones signal is ignored or too much for the target audience. So, he/she/they will ignore you…
