My name is Stephanie.. I am in my twenties and my friend had told me about this site. She is not a member, but I decided to give it a try. I just recently had a baby and I am breastfeeding, but I would like to “attract” my husband a little more. My friend said that she had gotten a spray that “attracted” sexual attention from her man. I don’t feel as naturally attractive right now, because of what birthing has done
so I was looking for some advice on using pheromones. I am not sure as to what to ask about them except would they work in my situation? and are they ok during breastfeeding? My husband said he loves me the way I am, but I am just drained of self confidence and having any type of visual sex appeal for myself. Also, is it ok to use at my age? Are they ok to use around infants or will they lighten the mood in the house?
Thanks ![]()
Hey stephypoo, welcome to the forum! I don’t know about just having had a baby and mones; but I wanted to welcome you and give you a start on your intel gathering. First of all, check out the link about the GC to make sure you get yours. I’m pretty sure you got everything covered - but just in case, check - it’s quick. Yes, you can use them at your age. Yes, the socials can lighten the mood in YOU as well as the house.
How do I qualify for a $25 gift certificate?
An Introduction to Mones; Names, Size, Strength, Use, Effects & Length of (An Introduction to Mones: Names, Size, Strength, Use, Effects & Duration)**
The other two are just solid information that every newbie should look into. With the sweet spot, that refers to a number of sprays not a location on your body.
What I’m going to suggest is that you read some womens journals, use the search function for babies, mones, breastfeeding etc. Or you can private message (PM) Tisha23 - she knows mountains about mones. Or PM Mickaelia, she’s a mom of a 3 year old I think. The above will get you informed with the basics and I think input from people that have kids (I don’t) is your best bet.
The ‘socials’:
Instant Shine - gives you a shine and a mood pick-me-up and people like to be near you with this and tend to stay.
Instant Openness - is called an ice-breaker mone. It promotes and encourages light, pleasant conversation. I have also personally, found that it de-stresses me. To the point of cutting panic attacks OFF! But so far, that’s just me.
Instant Honesty - promotes and encourages a more meaningful, deeper communication. Be careful tho’, I found out the hard way that you can be blurting stuff out yourself. ![]()
Instant Sexiness/B is awesome, gives me the self effect of sexy confidence. BUT I DON’T KNOW HOW OR IF IT WOULD AFFECT YOUR BABY.
That’s something for someone else to answer. In any case, welcome to the forum again and welcome to your experiment.
Welcome to Pherotalk!
I doubt using pheromones will have any health consequences right now. I suggest you buy ISHINE. Really fun and light product that will get you and everyone around you in a very good mood. You will have your “aura” back. Don’t be surprised if people tell you are ACTUALLY shinning
! It’s simply one of the simplest yet most effective product Androtics sell.
For a more “sexy” orientated product, you should go with Instant Sexiness B. This will not only make you feel sexy again, but your husband will sure appreciate it
.
Hope you enjoy your stay here. Much luv ![]()
Hi and welcome to the forum ![]()
Hi Steph
Welcome to Pherotalk ![]()
If your baby is younger then 3 to 6 months or your still breastfeeding, I suggest you wait for a few reasons. Babies bond with there parents pheromonally and its especially important right now for you and your hubby to maintain your natural signatures.
These products are hormones. That’s what a pheromone is. They are not harmful if used responsibly so yes you can use them at your age because your fully developed. However your breastfeeding and we do not know for certain how much will absorb into the skin and be passed through your milk to the baby who is not fully developed yet. If you choose to use them I suggest only clothes applications until your done breastfeeding.
Next, after child birth your hormones need to return to normal as well. If you just gave birth less then 6 weeks ago wait till after that period. Usually by then hormones are returning to normal. However keep in mind what I mentioned about bonding.
As far as lightening the mood around the house… Yes some mones can do that but they wont fix a existing problem. Are you feeling down or in a low mood ? If so it probably means your hormones are still adjusting back to normal. Talk to your doctor about your moods and he/she can make sure everything is as it should be and your not suffering from postpartum depression or mood swings.
I have two kids myself, all grown up but I do remember feeling unattractive after having them. That and just worn out and tired all the time. I am not sure how old the baby is and what your household situation is like but if you can, sleep when the baby sleeps. Dont use that time to clean the house. See if you can get your friend to come over and sit with the baby while you pamper yourself a bit.
Hell I used to put mine in his car seat on the bathroom floor while I took long hot bubbly baths. I put him in his stroller and went for walks all the time to help me get back in shape and help my moods. Simply doing things that help you get back to before baby shape will improve your mood. My point is be kind to yourself, find things you can do to pamper yourself and help you feel more attractive. You just performed a miracle and deserve it.
I remember one of my worries was if my stomach would ever look the same again. If this is a concern for you get a tub of cocoa butter, a soft bristle bath brush, and a bottle of witch hazel. When you take a shower or bath, soap up the brush and scrub your tummy in circular motions for about 2 to 3 minutes. Not real hard. This stimulates blood floor and collagen production. Then when you get out use the cocoa butter. After its absorbs slap on some witch hazel. You will see your belly skin begin to tighten and your stretch marks (if you have any) begin to disappear if you do this daily or at least every other day. That’s me over there <<<< it works but you have to be consistant.
Make sure your doing your kegels. I am seruous. This will help get your vagina back in shape. If you dont know what those are or if your doing them right I can go into more detail.
Now if you do decide to go with mones I agree with PJ about Instant sexiness and Ishine to start. In fact you can use Ishine on something in the house to help lighten the mood, you dont have to wear that one for just the mood effect. For attraction and pull to you yes you would have to wear it but I sprayed it on my dads chair all the time for my mom to put him in a better general mood and it worked.
I know these are probably not the anwsers you want to hear right now and you got a lot more info then you bargined for in a pheromone forum but mones are just part of attraction and self esteem. I am more holistic
.
Whether you get mones or not stick around because we can help with other tips and just interacting with people when your stuck home with the baby can make you feel better about you.
If you have questions just ask. You can alwasy PM me to.
Tisha
I’m totally in agreement with Tisha here and I would go a step further. They are in a developmental stage and getting used to the natural pheromones of their mom and synthetic pheromones would only confuse the baby.
I highly recommend you DO NOT use mones for at least a year around your baby.
Welcome to pherotalk Steph!
