This is what I’ve gathered so far from stickies. Sound about right?
“if you’re under 13, you don’t need pheros. go spend your money on Pokemon, or something like that. I personally wouldn’t recommend pheros for anyone under 17, but the high school crowd seems to be growing at an insane rate, so you’ll be included.” having met Roy Hibbert on several occasions, I’d apply this to him as well (sorry, had to throw that in there, he’s an avid Pokemon fan and a very modest/reserved guy despite being 7’2 and a 26 year old multimillionaire athlete). ha!
-none’s are Androstenone, young people tend ot have more, O blood type tend to have more. 5mcg is adequate for most into the late 20’s.
-nol’s are Androstenols (Alpha and Beta e.g. alphanol/betanol). These are found in sweat, higher levels in women and obese men.
Alpha - promotes communication and openess, helps one be approachable
Beta - promotes deeper conversations, less approachble/requires more activity on wearer’s part to intiate conversation
-taa test molecule a tends to make people less like Eeyore, more like Pooh… Less like Felix more like Oscar (odd couple)
*most *-nol’s appear to be generally good for business settings
*most *-none’s should be avoided in quantity in the workplace unless buffered
*most *-none’s should be avoided by 16 year olds through to mid 20’s, Androstenone levels are high enough in most individuals that fall in this age range.
*most *-none’s will serve you well clubbing/bar-hopping but you can overdose them
-none’s should not be applied to hair or directly to clothing, they are ‘sticky’ and will linger
Some ‘mones’ have a more pronounced effect on someone you already have previous rapport with.
If there is actual biological effect going on, results vary on both wearer and target subject, one wearer to the next will experience different results and one wearer will experience different results from different target subjects. The age of both wearer and subject as well as the type of ‘mone’ appear to be two of the largest factors at play.
**#**One’s personal demeanor still matters, consider this augmentation not replacement
**#**Mental state of the wearer’s target subject will still have influence in their responsiveness
**#**Humidity matters, moderate humidity is ideal. Temperature matters, too hot or too cold and you get poor dispersal/reception.

**#**Natural tastes and feelings matter, ‘mones’ can’t change them, only amplify them
**#**Social cues coming from wearer that conflict with applied ‘mones’ can and usually will nullify the ‘mones’
**#**In a group it can be beneficial, if you suspect someone has gravitated towards your group because of your ‘mones’ to find an opportune time to step away from the group to help the subject target lock on you as the source of their new found interest
**#**Cover scents MIGHT be more ideal to spray on a different patch of skin, preferably opposite of the ‘mones’ (oils should especially be applied somewhere besides the cover scent or their diffusion will be accelerated by the alcohol in cover scent)
**#**Higher temp, faster dispersal and saturation of environment
**#**Lower temp, slower dispersal and saturation of environment
**#**A 12 foot radius is a fair approximation of the ‘mones’ area of engagement in a typical environment
**#**It is best to start with very little and gradually increase till you find what works best for your chemistry and setting. once you start to see noticeable results you should ‘overdose’ once applying an excessive amount to see what the negative results are so you can determine where the balance between too little and too much.
Application points
Jaw line & upper lip - good for effects on one’s self
Neck & hair - good overall diffusion (again avoid direct hair application with -none’s)
Chest - good for close contact
Wrists & arms - good in situations you’ll be gesturing frequently
Not unlike any other substance Some people will respond negatively, some positively, some not at all
There is a very good possibility ‘mones’ do nothing and it’s simply the Observer Effect and/or Placebo Effect.
