Her emails smile at me: Does she love me or what?

In all honesty, she sounds pretty forward, and not likely to beat around the bush. So maybe her only objective was letting him know you’re interested in her, in order to make him interested in her, too.

yep, you’re probably right!
cause when we had the happy hour, she told him in front of me she thought he was ‘hot’

ANYHOW, I think you are right sheating heart, she’s using me as bait to get him, she even knows he likes a friend of hers, so she’s probably jealous, so i will cut all this nonsense out and move on to something different, as in reality i truly shouldn’t be looking to get her anyhow, i’m just being opportunistic, even he would be as we both have GF’s…i know he isn’t attracted to her, but i know that HE, like myself, would have sex with her if the opportunity was layed in front of him. what’s different about he and I, is that I was looking to push the issue to make it happen, while he wouldn’t, because she’s not the hottest looking girl on the block, my assessment of her type is that i know she would be a freak in bed, and i like that so I know the type and was looking for that result

i’m rambling i know but my point is, you are right, dead end, thanks for bringing that to my attention. it’s like reading tomorrow’s news paper today…

any further comments or opinions would be great, and i welcome them, but i won’t be adding anything more to this thread unless specifically addressed

lol i know how the co-worker things go… go 4 it!!! look at my threads

Two of my own thoughs, although I’m late to this party:

There is a difference between “love” and “like.” Someone can like you, alot or a little, but “love” takes a bit more. “Love” is something that grows over time.

Even at my age I would use smiley and similar icons with someone I ****
liked. And “like” could grow to something else. A good close friendship or beyond. I probably wouldn’t use them with someone I was at best neutral about. I’d say it’s at least a positive sign. Where it goes… who knows. You really probably don’t KNOW enough about this person to properly interpret.

As for “high school” level useages. People who use little smiley faces over the letter “i” as the dot are the ones I’d think of as still too young emotionally to want to deal with at your age. One needs to consider emotional age as well as physical age in considering any relationships in my book.

My opinions.
