I’m looking at the store, looking at the forums, and feeling totally overwhelmed by all that I have to “re-learn” here… The store has so many new P products that I have NO IDEA about and need to delve into research mode on here to figure them out, I actually needed to reread MY big book o’ pheros again, (lol) I want to message Mr. Harris, as well as Jasmin and Ms. Tisha just to say hey since I’ve been missing for so long, and to ask why on God’s green earth they decided to discontinue IFM, (That just makes no sense, no sense at all!) Plus I need to say hi to all the rookies, answer my past 2 years worth of private messages, and try to earn enough points to at least get in an order for an IS togo bottle. Figure I’ll be on here for about a week solid. oy vey.
YOU need to do a search Snoop. There’s the WHY in one of the IFM post by MHarris, and you’ll find that his reason for no longer wanting to sell it, makes sense.
Welcome back! ![]()
Use of A1 with fragrance is patented, so products using it can only be sold as unscented (unless you can afford to pay licensing fees). And AD doesn’t embrace unscented products. The posts about A1 being too dangerous to sell due to male depression and women using it to depress men are just silly excuses. Its far more dangerous to drink beer and shower with Dial Magnetic. Haven’t heard of any depression reports from Dial or Realm (W), products that contain A1. Realize A1 is also the most abundant naturally occurring mone on male skin.
Hi welcome back the famous snook assassin
I always asked myself where you went …
Pago
You really think that, G?
If so, why?
IFM had A1 in it, which from what I know was scented. I’m just a little confused on the reasoning behind that?
I answered that question in the text and in many posts on the same subject. I suspect AD can’t or won’t license A1 to use with fragrance. A mega bucks company like Dial can afford the fees and is raking it in. The percentage of male depression due to large doses of A1 is probably similar to that of people with allergic reactions to shellfish or peanuts. If you’re one of those people, you avoid those products. No sane reason to withhold shrimp and peanut-butter to the rest of the world. Whatever, LS is now enjoying great sales of its A1 chemset from Stone labs, so people that want it can go elsewhere.
But in a business sense, they can just make up for the licensing with upgraded costs. I’m just not too sure on the factual accuracy on the theory that AD refuses to license it. With so much demand for IFM, they would be shooting themselves in the foot revenue wise. From what I’ve gathered, they did not want to do it due to moral reasons. And regardless, that’s an admirable position to take when you believe that if even one person can be harmed by your products, you don’t want anything to do with it.
IFM was not scented. I have some that smells like tequila. I’m guessing it’s an organic PA. It originally had an herbal component that helped with diffusion (clary sage I think) but that seems to have been dropped at least in the orders I got of it which would have been in late 2007 and early 2008.
My bottle of IFM is fragrance-free but smells like ass (guess that means it’s all natural!). It’s of early 2009 vintage.
If you’re sincerely concerned about the potential harm of a mone product, I’d have to point to anone heavy products like TUTH and Ammo 2X as far more likely to cause potential harm. They are well known to help push borderline types over the line and into hostile and aggressive behavior. Indeed, such behavior among users and targets has oft been reported on this forum and with far more frequency than A1 depression. I can see violent behavior resulting from anone OD as the the worse case scenario. If you’re earnest about limiting potential harm and taking the moral high ground, you’d have to pull TUTH first, especially the 2X and stronger versions.
The point I was trying to make was that there are effects to pheromones, but some people actually deliberately used it to create a bad situation for someone. I’ve yet to find something here that someone beat someone up so bad because they had TUTH on.
Actually there were several bar flights by androstenone users discussed here and at LS (& many heated exchanges & tense arguments). I can’t blame anone–these are basically idiots with no control–but the booze and anone fanned the flames of guys with small IQs and high t-levels.
I see that happen every weekend though.
Have you tried Dial Magnetic for yourself? Do you find that it relaxes your GF during PMS?
Yeah, plenty of guys are habitually depressed with or without mega doses of A1. Too many preservatives, pesticides, hormones and nasty chemicals in processed foods. Messes with your body & brain chemistry.
I must say I don’t care for Dial Magnetic. The soap tends to dry my skin and I don’t like the scent. I used it a few times and there it sits.
Hey, what’s up man? Good to see you here. The first post I read on this forum was The Snook’s big book o’ pheros for rookies. Very good info in there!!! Anyway, welcome back
