I must be broken

…and some reps for you Copycat. Why? Well, with all that I have said about not feeling broken, this thing will pass, and stuff, I had a bummer of a night as far as IOIs from the ladies went last night. Not one IOI. Although other interesting things happened (I journalled it). Anyhow, I had to remember my own post, the one about such crap feelings being “state bound” and not really representative of reality so much, else cognitive dissonance would have set in LOL. So then I didn’t feel so bad, to paraphrase the Sound Of Music song .
Anyway, your OP has touched me because I sometimes feel that way, although I shouldn’t and neither should you.

In b4 “OMG U SHOULD MAKE 10x MORE MONEY GET A FERRARI TESTAROSSA AND A PENIS EXTENSION, THAT’S WHAT WOMEN WANT AND ANYTHING ELSE IS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS GONE MAD!!!1”

Hey Tish,

Wow, GREAT post!

First your 40, I dont know if you were ever on the BC pill in your lifetime. Your close to my age

Yeh, pills, then shots, and now the implant. What you say makes perfect sense. The chemistry is a-changing, I don’t doubt it. So more it is, then. I’m not afraid to put on more, I just don’t wanna stink. Fortunately, like you, I have honest friends.

I’ve used up to six sprays of Instant Shine. I admit I’ve been more conservative with the to-go bottles because they’re so small.

A couple of clarifications:
I realize I probably blew away all the benefits when I went on the bike, so I stopped doing that and applied at my destination.
The dizziness only affected me the first day. Someone suggested I not apply on an empty stomach and that seemed to do the trick until I adjusted.

Skip wrist application, they suck in my opinion LOL Yes I know we tell people at first wrists because there is a pulse point there but I find it to not be the best application spot.

That’s good to know.

I read the post on application methods you included. Thanks!

I’ve used MX274 on my hair, which I wear down at shoulder length. Every time I turned my head, I could smell it. It’s tolerable, but I don’t think I’d be wiling to do it with anything smellier. (I’m a fan of the citrus scents; the sweet stuff kinda turn my stomach). Regarding neck application in general, will it get trapped under my hair if I put it on the back of my neck or behind my ears?

Do oil-based products last longer? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

If I get TAF, do I use it under or on top of my mix?

I do work out, and I know what you mean. It was so hard to get to the gym at first; now I look forward to it. The weather here isn’t particularly friendly, so I do the gym. At least I have 4-wheel drive and know I can make it even on a bad day.

More clarification:
This will be my ninth winter in MN. (It’s a long story… suffice it to say love brought me here, but it won’t keep me.) There’s a completely different mentality here and it is very difficult to get to know people. I know it’s not just me; I hear it from other transplants, too. You saw Fargo, right? That was an exaggeration, of course, but not as much as you’d think.
I’m a happy hiker too, but it’s relatively flat here.

I’ve found several groups through Meetup.com that I have common interests with: motorcycling, hockey, dog owners, girls’ night out, Sunday afternoon matinee, and ex-southerners (I disagree with their name: Once a Texan, always a Texan, I say).

Amazing picture, Tisha!

I’ll try a larger dose next time I go out and let you know how it goes. Here’s to 40 being the new 30!

Cat

The pill decreases the amount of natural copulins a women makes.

No your hair moves around alot when you do so it should be fine on your neck.

Advantage

The application lasts longer then the sprays. I find with oils 10 hours later I can still get hits with no reapply. Better for very humid conditions to. They dont blow off as easily dues to the oil being heavy.

Disadvantage

Depending on how the mix is made you need either a larger ratio of pheromones in the mix or you need to wear alot more oil then you would with the same spray formula.

A314 Lust After Me and other oil products here compensate for that in the mix.

The hits are more subtle then with the sprays even at the higher ratio of pheromones.

I am a believer in layering in a certain order to get a certain effect but alot of people aren’t. I would apply TAF on top of the rest.

I hear that from alot of people who relocate all over. Took my brother years to get used to Texas after being here in CT and NY.

I know what you mean, I’m a farm girl at heart and always will be. My family has a farm in upstate NY that my other brother now lives at and runs. You can dress me up and I can hob nob with the elite in the city but that farm girl still comes through LOL

Thats not me, its Minnesota LOL I dont know who the lady is, Its from the hiking section of the tourist site

Tisha

Alot of great info for me here too…thanks Tish and everyone else. Great thread for us hormonally challenged!!:open_mouth:
~M~

My, this is a long thread. At the risk of repeating what other people have said I’ll add my two cents

Copycat, you sound like an intelligent, open and kind person and I’m sure you’re gorgeous! I think it all comes down to trial and error. Instead of focusing on obvious hits, maybe focus on finding a blend that makes you feel like the sexiest girl in the world. The social pheros might be something to focus on too. I found that for me, they translated into more hits than the blatant sexual pheros because of my own shyness. I was sexy already, I just needed a boost in confidence and communication! Maybe the same is true for you?

Being someone who works in the field of sexual psychology, I can absolutely say that someone is out there for everyone. While there are biological and cultural signals that translate as attractive, everyone has a different tailored version of their personal ideal and when you get to the heart of it, ideals come in all shapes, sizes and types. I think this may have been what the original offensive post was getting at awkwardly, that if you had a particular target in mind, there is a change that you might not fit his ideal… for example, if he likes more TAL girls than TAH etc. But, I dont think that really applies here so the point seems irrelevant.

I believe it is more about finding a balance between the way you like to feel about yourself and the image you naturally project.

Copycat, you’re NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT broken. You might just be having an off-time or perhaps not hit your sweet spot. You’re not ugly either, I am sure. Just because some yob doesn’t like you doesn’t mean anything.

To the OP who has already been criticized much: Even though you tried to be tactful, you stated something that could only make copycat feel worse. Here, we’re not just about harsh facts, we’re also about reassurance and a friendly ear. I hope you don’t treat your friends like this at home.

As a horndog, I believe women are in general sexy. Few tips on your pheros copycat.

  1. Get out to where the men are! No point having pheros on with no good men to smell them.

  2. Be comfortable with yourself and with your target(s) This is very important- I love to have a warm feminine body snuggled up with me with the process happenning naturally

  3. Have your pheros on with something nice Perhaps a nice dress or that t-shirt and jeans? Pheros help bring out the feel you want to elicit in your targets.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

ps. I always thought that men were easy.

Thanks to everyone here - I love you guys!

I went out today with six (count 'em!) sprays of MX274 and a small dose of IS in my chest to drown out the smell.

No hits, but people were nice to me. Helpful, even. I have a meeting tomorrow where I’ll be in closer range of strangers, so I’ll do it again and report back anything interesting in a new thread.

I don’t feel ugly, just out of place. I really do not belong in MN, but until the housing market turns around… shrug. I miss friendly people and was feeling right homesick the day I posted that original message.

Thanks again. I’m so glad I found this wonderful, amazing community!!

Ahh sweetie,if it comforts you at all, I seriously considering moving to the twin cities a number of years back. Somewhere back around 1995 or 1996 it was voted the best place in the country to live.

But, if ya wanna come back to Texas and 105 degree summers at 95% humidity, well come on back, and be sure to look me up. You know where to find me on any given Thursday or Saturday night.

Thank god you came to your senses!!

I doubt those people who make those lists have ever actually lived in any of the cities they pitch.

You go girl LOL  Keep in mind what MX274 does, Its put people in a great mood people pay attention to you more, they are more friendly then usual. Look for changes in normal behavoir not just for direct hits to you.

Tisha

I’ve stayed out of this thread for reasons of my own. I’m not going to start anything up again, but I do need to say that everyone is entitled to their opinions. This does not entitle anyone to name call and anyone who who did it is wrong. I will leave it at that.

OK copycat it took a lot for you to come out and say all that in your original post and that shows tremendous faith in yourself. I struggled with internal ugliness for a long time. That’s what I call it when I feel ugly on the inside and thus create that persona on the outside. It happens to the best of us. There are a lot of things we can do to turn this self-depreciating thoughts around and one of them, IMHO, the hardest and yet most effective one is to say it out loud to those who know and love us. It takes some serious balls to do it and you have already done that.

You’ll find your strength and be able to overcome it, that I am sure of.

Again I am not trying to muck up anything negative here, but I think there were some serious misconceptions of what others were saying. When we feel ugly to ourselves we portray that ugliness to others and hence are ugly. I’ve been there! For the longest time I didn’t even know how to love myself let alone anybody else. It really does take some serious insight to want to make those changes and the very hardest one is to admit to our friends what we struggle with.

If ever you need a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold onto, a springboard for ideas, or just someone to simply talk to whose been through it please call me and I will be there for you.

This thread took some awesomeness to post and awesomeness is rewarded with a $50 gift certificate in your email. Nice job being open

SteveO,

Thank you so much for your post. It’s a comfort to know I’m not alone.

The support I’ve found here in this forum has been amazing and I value everyone’s input and perspectives.

I have good days and bad days, like everyone else. I’ll keep this in mind when another bad day hits! (And maybe even when a good one does! :o)

You’re the best! All of y’all!

Cat

I just returned from a family vacation and since yesterday I am reading the posts, I was thinking about this thread the whole day, and I understand you were probably having a bad day when you started this thread, I see your avatar and I am sure you are a friendly and energetic person.
Beauty is something very complicated, because each person has a different concept about it, it is not only the physical, it is like love , it is pretty deep. What I think it is beautiful, for other people it is not.
My husband always told me that what he liked when he met me was my sense of humor, sometimes people are looking for something that it is not really physical. I am pretty sure you have your attributes also, every woman has it.
How about, you do lot things for you, things that will make you happy, everything you will enjoy it. You can start with simple/small things and enjoy planning the big ones.
You will feel great and with the pheromones nobody will be able to stop copycat.

Vacation was nice, Glacier Park is beautiful!
