After I joined the guys, people stopped talking and crossed their arms in front of their chests. I wanted to break the ice, and said a joke that always made people laugh, no one laughed, and they just stood their for the longest time then one said “did you finish the joke! I’m still waiting for the punch line!”. All my hilarious jokes did not work! I was somehow unwanted!
It took me a lot of effort to blend in! Socializing was never this hard; it used to be like second nature to me!
On the personal level, I only felt aggressive the first two minutes of application…

Now I know how it feels for some people that others naturally reject… Words can’t describe the feeling, but I understand!
