Alright guys, Im new to pheremones so maybe some of you can help me out. First of all, I’m very skeptical of these things. Half of me is convinced that all of this is a placebo affect, and its your changed personality and body language and subcommunication that is getting you results because you BELIEVE they work. SO I figured the best way to test this was with a product that is supposed to affect me as much as the next person. Supposedly this product is INSTANT SHINE. Now it makes sense that whatever effect instant shine has on me it should have on someone else, and vice versa right? I mean after all, we are both smelling the same foreign substance. SO my first time trying instant shine, i spray on a hell of a lot. Just to see if I felt anything. Well for starters I definately felt something. Although it felt more like i was sniffing rubbing alcohol and getting semi high rather than like I was confident and happy and “shiny”. It makes me wonder if thats all it is, a chemical that gets you kinda high so that your inhibitions are lowered in the same fashion as alcohol might work a little. I dunno. Either way, I certainly don’t feel like the bomb.com wearing it, and by no means am I an unconfident guy anyway. I however did notice that one of my coworkers kept coming in my office and bugging me all day with funny jokes and whatnot. It did work on him as well, but again, if the whole office filled with ethanol or something, im sure we’d all be laughy and buzzin. Again, it doesnt feel like confidence or peaceful joy or shiness of any sort - more like absentmindedness and barely high. The next time I tried 1 spray, i felt a little high. In any event I havent noticed anyone in the last days take exceptional notice of me. I see posts on here where people are like "I sprayed on 2 shots of X, 3 shots of Y, and some Z for good measure, and like a stranger on the bus looked at me…??? I havent seen any body make comments that would alter my opion that that person would have probably looked at you if you werent wearing anything, and the only thing that has changed is your own self composure do to a placebo effect. Can anyone give me any more evidence or suggestions that might prove this is more than a weird high inducing chemical and nothing more-before I attempt to get my refund?
I’ve been using pheromones for over 4 years and rarely feel a thing. Nothin’ Zippo. Like many drugs, you quickly develop a tolerance with regular use. Pheromones are subtle and most effective on strangers and causal friends. They don’t have you pegged and haven’t been exposed to your chemical magic, so they’re more responsive than close friends and family.

Forget about IS as a standalone. It works best as a supplement or subtle enhancement to more primary pheromones. I’d suggest beginning an androstenol product for social enhancement, e.g., IH, or a general use mix such as Ammo. You’ll experience more obvious results. Finally pheromones can only enhance what you do and say. The grunt work is still mainly up to you. No amount of pheromones will offset a bad attitude or poor social skills.
Well i think the point i was trying to make is that whatever pheremones is in IS, they are as foreign to me as the person smelling them off of me. Wouldnt it effect us both equally. Does it really matter that the foreign chemical is on MY skin rather then on a slice of bread? Further more, I know phermones work, dogs and cats have phermones, but I sure as hell am not attracted to a female cat or dog, because theyre phermones are of a different species. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and assume I’m NOT spraying HUMAN phermones on myself as I’m sure it would be near impossible to extract them from a human being, concentrate them, and then stick them in a bottle. So what species pheremones AM i using, and why are they supposed to work on me. Maybe if a horse starts humping me at the ranch, then I’ll know.
pheromones work slightly different for each person who is exposed to them. The high your feeling is common for first time users and usually passes after wearing them for a week or so. It just your brain saying “what the hell was that” They are designed to enhance not change.
The only proof I can offer you or anyone on here for that matter is our experiences. We have posted those and you can choose to believe them or not. Makes no difference to me.
I was skeptical at first myself but chose to keep a open mind and find what works well for me. I have done that and many of us have posted that the effects are subtle 80% of the time. I know how people normally react around me so I can easily tell when they react differently. I can see why you’d be skeptical when someone posts that they were driving in the car and someone stared at them at a stoplight. Clearly not a pheromone-induced response. I also don’t think people are sensing them from across a room and coming over to meet you because of it. They have to just like the way you look.
BUT - what’s to say that how they act once they’re near you isn’t influenced by the pheromones? Pheromones aren’t going to be magical, and the things that attract us to each other are so subtle and subjective that there’s never any real way to quantify it for each individual encounter. Like Gegogi said, there is research out there that you can look at to prove that in general, pheromones work. But is there any way for you to “know” if the ones you’re wearing are working? I don’t think so. I think it’s the same kind of thing as the way we “know” if someone is hitting on us.

OK, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that you were far more than 1/2 convinced of a placebo only effect. And if you had already convinced yourself that the Instant Shine wasn’t going to work. Guess what? Is that conclusive proof that a God exists? Of course not, but do you think you could convince a believer that God didn’t play a part in curing them of cancer? Highly unlikely!

The way I see it you have two choices: You can send the Instant Shine back and get your refund, having convinced yourself that it’s all a scam.
Or,
you can try to be a little more objective and optimistic. Instead of assuming that the Instant Shine won’t work, then looking to justify that preconception, you could try to take the attitude that it will work and start noticing the more subtle effects.
Mark has a really good point and I wish I’d said it. If you go into it with a negative attitude, there’s no way they’re going to overcome that and work some magic. They can only enhance what you already have going on.
By my humble estimate, success is about 95% you and 5% mones. Mones merely give you an edge–amp ya up a little bigger than life. First off, I’m very suprised that some people seem a bit negative in their responses and almost defensive, as if my own personal doubt has attacked some sort of phermone faith. You see, one of the problems I see with this product the obvious fact that THIS product discription:
Isnt accurate AT ALL. In fact most of the description seems to depend on its ability to supposedly put you in a great mood thus making other people pick up on that and feel the joy. Everyone here as said directly that any effect the pheremones have on you last less than a week and then goes away. Thats a direct contradiction to the products claim. Yes? - No? Thanks for the feedback as well everyone and confirming that this doesnt happen - That its more subtely/barely noticeable and only enhances around “5%” or so of your natural confidence and likeableness. My expectations were only set as high as the products marketting claimed it to be. The second problem I see is that something of so little significant improvement that can’t really be verified unless you just close your eyes and “believe” seems a bad use of money as well as terrible for your actual self confidence. I see that people here are saying that they “resorted” to pheremones after they had exhausted all other options or wanted a QUICK FIX. The problem with this is the obvious psychological dependency on pheremones. I personally believe that the mind and soul can be exercised as well and that you can achieve any amount of sexual desirabilty and confidence if you work at it and dedicate yourself to self improvement. The reason I chose instant shine and none of the others is because i don’t believe in purchasing an external instant fix to an internal problem such as low self esteem or lack of confidence and success with woman. Thats a journey for your soul and mind to take and overcome. Not something you can just buy in a bottle such as “AMMO!” Instant Shine however claimed all of the above claims and I thought it might be cool to put people in a better mood just by being around them - in a less potent way than SPACELAND. As far as I can tell, if it does, its by an immeasurable fraction. I might as well just hand out chocalate candies to strangers. Being that I’m a delusional believer in just about anything being possible, I was sold on the fact that pheromones worked before I really knew. I told myself, I’m gonna spray this stuff on me and the world will shoot rainbows and candy.. lol.. maybe not that extreme but IS has yet to work for me still but have gotten subtle results from other pheros. Maybe it’s a birth defect, lol. I was actually expecting to get great results outta IS and in reality I got nothing. The ‘positive thought’ method didn’t work with this one. Anyone got any farfetched theories for this one? 
You gotta select pheromones that compliment your pheromone signature. That is, pheromones that reinforce your strengths and shore up your weaknesses. Everybody’s body chemistry and persona are different, so not everything works with everybody. Using pheromones is sorta like drinking soda pop. Add sugar to Coke and your spit it out. Why? It’s already sweet enough. Adding more sugar ruined it. However a mitt full of ice, a squeeze of lemon and shot of rum can transform that Coke into a real drink. So to get the most out of your body chemistry and persona you gotta use pheromones that complement and work with your uniqueness.
With all that said, Shine doesn’t do jack for me as a standalone. However I find it works best with primary pheromones such as androstenone and androsterone. It helps take the edge off and increases sociability. However if you’re naturally social and beaming it probably should be last on your list.

IS works pretty good on me. Out of all the pheros I’ve tried so far…I like IS the best. Puts me in a good mood, and builds some sort of self-confidence in a way.

I am not going to even try to explain things to you because I can already tell you came here with a negative attitude and a closed mind. I really think you should take a closer look at the forum and really see what is being said by the experienced users.
Everyone is not open minded or observant enough to be able to use these products. I am not sure if you are or not. There are plenty of people who dont use certain products because some dont work well for them but others do. This is the way pheromones are, they are not one size fits all.
I think the reason people are defensive is not because you threaten our beliefs but you are coming off with a condensending attitude. I am not sure if that is intended or not.

It’s fairly natural for people to come here to the forum with an “attitude.” It comes from not wanting to be a “sucker” manipulated by some marketer. Many folks have been scammed before, and it’s not too good for the self-image to realize you’ve been tricked out of your money.
I had a bit of an attitude myself when I first came on. Experience cured it. That seems to happen to a lot of folks who first come on to the forum announcing themselves as skeptics entertaining the idea that the members of this forum are deluding themselves when they notice behavioral effects from these chemicals.
In this case, where the guy tries a product, notes behavioral effects, then discounts them as being due to a “weird high inducing chemical,” what is really left to say?
In most cases I don’t even reply to posters with an obvious chip on their shoulder. Some will change their attitudes, some not. Either way, it’s generally not worth me using my time on, at least until they start making valuable contributions to the forum.

well when the pheromone/es is on your skin it’s outside of your body and can be regarded as a foreign substance even you produced this pheromone with your body ( not taking a shower for a week and hard working on the gym should get you closer to good pheromone levels but the other substances in swet and the odour will be there also so i don’t recomed u to try this ).
