Since birth control mimicks the effects of pregnancy I’m wondering about why I’m not getting as many hits as others seem to. I went out today wearing IO IH and IS and didn’t notice much of anything. I purposely strolled through the mall for forever, strolled through wal-mart, went to two restaurants and nothing.
I’m really starting to think it may be the birth control and the fact that me not ovulating may mean that I am not producing my own pheromones and thus have a harder time getting the synthetic pheromones to work.
I feel bad because I would like to report a lot more but there’s not much to report.
I am getting off birth control very soon so I will see how much of a difference it makes.
Someone with far more knowledge and experience (just about anyone here) can correct me if I’m wrong but I would think that unless it is the sexual vibe pheromones, or maybe cops you are using then being on birth control shouldn’t affect it much.
I am on the pill, have no intention of going off it, and use IO, IH, and IS as well. I haven’t been doing this long (only a few days really) but I have definitely noticed self effects and hits. Maybe you just haven’t found your “sweet spot” or dosage yet. Hope you find a way that works
Birth control wont effect how others respond to synthetic pheromones. They replace what you may not be not making because BC will effect your natural mones. You may not get self effects but mones are not designed for that its just a side effect of using them.
Really the only known pheromone effected by pregnancy or the pill is copulins. Women make them when they ovulate and if your not ovulating its safe to say you not making copulins. The lack of copulins can signal to men your already pregnant or not fertile which can lessen pheromonal attraction. However once you wear them with BC they should work fine. Women who are on the pill generally have a lower sex drive because the pill sort of tricks you body into thinking you are aleady pregnant. This can cause some women to not respond to men wearing certain mones like anone which is more of a sexually aggressive signal however it just lessens it not eliminates it. Many BC pills have addressed the effect on womens libidos and the newer pills on the market cause less of a loss of arousal so it depends on which your taking really.
Your dosage may vary more with the use of BC and thats something you need to experiment with.
wow another post that relates to me! I decided to get off BCP when I realized I’m not producing my own cops and that it may affect the way I smell males. I have been on them for 11 years and have been thinking about getting off them for almost a year now, these small facts helped make up my mind. I’m gonna try paragard in a few months after I experience ovulating again without any BC. I feel very excited to have my normal hormone production back.
I remeber when my wife got off BC about 5 months ago, the first week was euphoric. Meaning, that she was so much nicer to me. with that said, i must say that everyone is very different. The following weeks were great, so great. BC plays with hormones in all people, as the pill “IS” hormones, in pill form. Up to 1/3 of women have reported Severe Anxiety and Depression as side effects of BC pills, not all pills, but individual formulations, results will vary person to person. Switching to different brands/formulations can show big improvements or can be worse.
Many people think of pheromones as a chemical, for this example, lets say TNT (not the TV channel, but Trinitrotoluene the explosive). This is bad analogy in my opionion, a more correct analogy would be that the pheromones are the blasting caps (used to start the tnt detonation) and the hormones that are produced in the body are the tnt. You can set off a big explosion with a little blasting cap. Pheromones are just the trigger. But as some pheromones are natural, you probably smell them all the time and your body deals with them when you are around people who have natural pheromones, including yourself, just not at the levels worn with Androtics Direct product which are probably 1,000 to 1,000,000 times stronger.
Granted, this analogy is too simple, to complicate it let us say that the human nose has 10 voting booths in the VN sensory organ (in your nose). Each voting booth has 20 different levers to pull for a vote (not all voting booths use levers, but this analogy will). A pheromone will activate the VN sensory organ, and it will “pull a lever” telling the other organs in your body to start a chemical process. One of the effects of that process will be to create hormones (so many different ones, i don’t know them all) that will cause effects to happen all over the body. The response you look for in using pheromones is only 1 of the dozen or so effects that is the result of the pheromones being “smelled” by the VN.
Unfortunately, there are only 10 voting booths (chemical receptors in VN organ are more than 10, but there are 6.02x10^23 (602 with 21 0’s after it, a significant number for chemistry since carbon has 6 protons & 6 nuetrons -> 12grams) carbon atoms in 12 grams of carbon. 1/38th of a pound is about 12 grams, the weight of about 2.5 teaspoons of water. All the numbers just say that when dealing with micro stuff, the numbers are really big, a thousand has 3 zeros, a million has 6, a billion has 9, a trillion has 12, a quadrillion has 15, pentillion has 18, and a sextillion has 21. so with between 31 and 32 million seconds in a year, it would take 19 quadrillion years to count the carbon atoms in 12g of atoms, if you could count them at 1 per second. So realize there are more than 10 voting booths since there are “zillions of them” in the VN, but the analogy will use 10.
Each booth (sensor) is occupied by a voter. The pheromone is the voter, and it sits in that booth and votes, but it takes time. So only 10 votes get counted per hour or minute, or whatever the natural log of the exponential decay halflife of that particular pheromone is, it could take a while (in micro terms) for that sensor to free up, and then be chemically ready to read the next ballot. So, if there is a long line at the ballot, from someone already being pheromoned up by their own, or someone elses, or your pheromones, they may have full voting booths, and less susceptible to your new 'mones coming in to play, and standing at the back of the line.
Such can be the case with an overdose, perhaps one 'mone dispenses and becomes airborn faster than the others, and overpowers the VN before the other 'mones can come into play.
Also, if someone has a cold, or a nose full of buggers, they may have a partially blocked VN organ, and cut the voting booths from 10 to 5. So, every vote counts, it just may take awhile for your vote to get counted, and it may take longer than just walking past someone in the mall. And of course, if you’re a smoking hot 10 girl, you can go to the front of the line, with guys, that is. I’m sure looks play no role in determining if a girl finds a guy attractive.
