The other day I met this girl at a big party that I used to know in childhood. I was there with a friend who also knows her. Throughout the evening, she would pick up guys, park them with us, pick up some other guy in the meantime and then fetch the guy again. She did this several times. I thought it was kind of weird behaviour, but maybe it has some sort of purpose. This forum has a lot of people with knowledge of obscure flirting tricks, so I figured it would be a good idea to ask here. It could very well be a male technique because this is a girl who flirts like a guy.
This sounds alot like what I do for my friends whom I think are useless at meeting girls - It is super common for me to engage a girl or a group of girls that I am not necessarily interested in and bring them back to my friends… only to fuck off soon thereafter to find a girl that I do like.
It also means that if I do meet someone I’m interested in and we walk back to my friends it doesn’t look like I have a group of loser friends who sit by themselves at the club all night (they are with a group of girls which means they can’t be all that bad).

Be keeping attractive people around you ie. more men than women, you two become the focus point of the group. Therefore you two must be desirable.
It also serves a purpose of keeping low self esteem men from approaching, since they effectively have to weed through the social ropes to join the group.
Most people unless trained (social butterflies included) are either trained or have trained themselves to observe changes in body stances, non-verbal communication that are invites to talk or to tell if someone would be responsive to talking.

It was not my friend doing this, but the other girl. She is just an acquaintance who tells people she is an illegimate child of my family, which is kind of embarrassing. For the rest she is friendly enough and kind of funny to talk to once in a while.
Also, she left both times after leaving the guys with us, then came back to fetch him and took one of them home with her. My friend and I felt kind of obligated to talk to her guys because they bought us all drinks. I thought it was a weird thing for her to do, but I never realised people used such elaborate techniques. Then again she is much older than me so maybe had time to refine that sort of thing.
I should note - I always thought of dragging the girls back to my buddies as an altruistic gesture (because they really did need the help and it made the night more fun for them)
In hindsight I realize it probably helped me out as well when I brought a girl I liked back to the group.

Heh I should note it was a mutually beneficial relationship - having two buddies 6’4", 200+ lbs kept my drunk ass from getting shitkicked on multiple occasions.
When I used to go to the club I usually drank myself sloppy - it wasn’t uncommon for my buddies to have to stare down some guy who pickup I broke up pulling a girl onto the dance floor
Sounds like she was “parking” them. Find a guy that might do and park him with a friend while looking for “something better”.
Remember she eventually went home with one of the “parked” guys.

She is putting them on a shelf where she knew they would wait for her, as she was still digging for better catches. I had this done with me in a bar. I laughed and joked with the gal, who finally lost interest in watching the guy who parked her flirt around the room, and found more interest in me. and the guy parked another lady with “his group of friends” and bought another round of drinks for us.
the ladies and I went out the back and went to grab a bite to eat, he told me later he went home alone.
