To: What is diffusing faster on the human skin (%) ?
- 1 spray 50 mcg or
- 5 sprays 10 mcg
In my opinion pheromones (%) diffuses faster at 5 sprays of 10mcg, because the liquid has more surface to diffuse on a human skin.
I prefer the high concentrate pheromones >50mcg/spray and dilute it by myself.
There are so many possibilities for experimenting with the high concentration:
a) Standart Neroli scent can easily be covered with any other fragrance, i.e. Akuto
b) no annoying, overpowering fragrance smell when spraying >4 sprays (i.e. 1x 40mcg/spray has less fragrance compared to 4x 10mcg/spray).
c) dilution is ALWAYS possible (with parfumers alcohol and/or DPG). The other way round (to concentrate pheromones) is much more difficult.
d) the user can choose: choice for a “slow diffusion” (higher concentration at only 1 spray) + fast diffusion when diluted (lower concentration, many sprays).
A glass pipet / dropper should be a suitable tool for mixing and dilution with less than 3% tolerance.
According to wikipedia: “Graduated pipettes have +/- tolerances that range from 0.6% to 0.4% of the nominal volume when measured at 20 ?C (68 ?F)”
As lwatkins mentioned: The 5ml plastic ToGo bottles are not great for transportation. I lost a lot of liquid when these plastic bottles were in a horizontal position (storaged for 2 years, never opened or used).
Question to this: The 5ml plastic bottles (pheromone concentration according to the print: 50mcg/spray) are not tightly sealed when not in use. The bottles have lost approximately 40%/2ml (the liquid has diffused).
I assume, the alcohol has diffused rather than the pheromones.
Is it possible, that the pheromone concentration has rised from 50mcg/spray to >50mcg/spray ??
