Some people are just too set AGAINST anything that they don’t fully understand. Those are the ones that even if you can get them to try it, they will completely ignore any reaction they have and any “hits” they are getting, because they don’t WANT you to be right.
Didn’t you know that’s an actual picture of me? Oh, I wish!!!
I’d happily pass on knowledge of this ‘valuable little resource’, but only to people who I think would take it seriously.
And I wouldn’t do it for the fact of making a small commission, I’d do it to help them out
To explain the skepticism, I guess I’d look at how people typically get involved with pheromones. In general people start with Pherlure, Realm, or that Androstenone concentrate product that is sold to both sexes. Pherlure gets mixed results, Realm primarily affects the user, and androstenone concentrate gets one freaked out looks (at least it did for me). Although Realm does not claim attraction properties, the other two seem to promise way more than they deliver. I can imagine that primarily the skeptical or the disappointed click on the Google ad that sends them here instead.
Others came here from Love Scent. In general, these folks know pheromones work, and few of them seem to question the concept, just the details.
I’ve also noticed that a lot of the skepticism occurs in posts made before the poster has received their order from Androtics. It would make sense that this person just spent hard earned money and has yet to have anything to show for it, so they are questioning the wisdom of their purchase.
And finally, once they get their pheromone order, seeing results requires a lot of social intelligence and awareness. It takes time to learn this, and until that point they will likely miss the effect they are having on others, pheromones or no.
i can appreciate all that kitten, but the point i was making was that i didnt understand people… who with androtics (or other) pheromones in-hand … used and did not:
feel anything themselves
with honest testing noticed nothing out of the ordinary.
i dont care about the kind of skeptics you have described.
thats just drama.
To clarify: I understand DrSmellThis doesn’t sell pheromones. He is a creator/brewer of small batch perfumes. Much like the products at the LovePotions site. The history of Pheros can be found over on the LS site (although it may be in the archives by now). LS sold it for him (think “distributor”) and I think Bruce basically bought the majority of the batch. It was not created as a pheromone product per se, but as a perfume/cologne. Many “natural” pheromone or pheromone-like ingredients went into it, often in very small quantities. Like pheromones it’s more of an “enhancer” that works via the olfactory senses.
Personally I think it’s great. Bought two bottles (one carefully stored away like a fine wine). I usually only use it either as a stand-alone or cover scent for very special occasions. It is certainly unique and can never be duplicated. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. I understand it took about a year and a half of careful tweaking.
I hear MHarris likes it and Jasmin adores it…
And DST was supposed to be working on a “next gen” version… (taps foot)
For most of my life I prided myself on not caring what other people thought. My attitude in conjunction with my mpb made me extraordinarily socially unaware. I could easily pass by reactions like those people have to pheromones without noticing them at all. Various significant others have noted this many times. Like mentioning “That woman is practically throwing herself at you” when I hadn’t noticed a thing.
One of the great learnings from my pheromone experiments has been a developing social awareness. I was interested enough in the pheromones that I focused my attention in a place that it was never consistently focused before. Now (at least when I’m focused) I pick up on body language and other social cues that for most of my life have flown over my head.
This may be hard to believe for most women, as I think they tend to be more focused on social cues and think everyone else is equally aware. A lot of us guys are blissfully unaware.
I was a skeptic -in the sense that I wanted to check- two months ago, before I tried TUTH, IH and IFM !
And the big problem is that even if it works, some people can still say that it’s due to the scent, and not surely to pheromones…
There’s has always been more or less secret as to how pheros are produced and put into the products, the (to-go) labels are all thesame when you erase the name of each product…
So I understand skeptics, before and after purchasing pheros… and as Ryan said, skeptics help us having something more than many others. If everybody had pheros, then, bad luck when you don’t wear them !
I dont know I can smell the difference between each product. Once you get used to the smell of pheromones unscented you can pick them up in a mix. So sure the labels may look the same except the name but there is something different in each bottle.
I did read over at LS how they make synthetic pheromones, I think it was in a post by Drfeelgood. It wasnt a exact recipe or anything but it gave you a better understanding.
While I do believe that scent does evoke certain responses in people I can still see the difference between pheromones and scent. Most pheromones dont smell good to others its the diffusive scent cover they use in the mixes that makes them smell good. One day purchase a unscented bottle of something and you will know what I mean LOL.
Of course you can order custom unscented versions from Androtics or others. Incidentally, IFM is normally unscented (no EO or cologne added). What you smell are the mones themselves, and stinky ones at that.
