No we dont have air conditioned trucks LOL Gosh I wish, They would never give us that we barely have heat in the winter. We drive with the windows open all day so its dosnt make sense to have air conditioning.

I cant speak for all of USPS but I do think we are under rated and I have mentioned to a rep at worjk that they should recruit Androtics which I am sure they will try to do by offering a insentive. We are hurting right now big time cause of gas prices and they need to drum up more business.

I have no problem with My DHL man though he comes to the door and leaves the package on the porch when we are not here. You can get bad carriers in any delivery business though its not the company its the luck of the draw really.

Well I like DHL a lot better now that I know they normally leave stickies.

Sometimes the building caretaker will collect a package for me. But he is not always near the front door at the right time. FedEx Ground, for some reason, often leaves packages for me at the corner deli. FedEx regular doesn’t.

I live in a rather bohemian yuppie type urban area so I’m thinking drivers are reluctant to leave packages on the front stoop due to all the foot traffic and interesting characters passing thru .

USPS really is underrated for package delivery. I got some of my textbooks that way and they arrived before I needed them. And I adore my USPS mailman guy. He’s this gigantic African American gent who gives a select few of us his advice and opinions whenever he gets a chance. And he constantly harps on people to stop lingering with the front door open because it lets the heat/airconditioning escape. He’s like the uncle I never had.

Ha ha ha im always seeing DHL trucks everywhere!..hmmm its very comforting.

My DHL guy is great. We even know each other by sight. I saw him pulled over on the side of the road the other day and stopped to make sure he was OK. I coud see he was sorting some packages - but wanted to make sure.

It was a classic Win-Win situation. He knows he has a customer looking out for him as a person. I have someone - my DHL delivery guy - in tighter in my circle of influence.

We live in a busy world and what tends to break down is real person to person connection. Plus the shields we put up to protect ourselves: from emotional pain, outside stimulus overload, etc.. That is one of the reasons I like pheromones - it helps ramp up those connections and make them easier.

One of the simple strategies I employ is to just stop for a minute and check on people I come in contact with. Genuine how are you doing, is everything OK. Listen. Really listen. Solid eye contact. Maybe light physical contact. Be ready to assist even if only with advice. Most times it will only take a few minutes. But those people will feel better knowing someone - you - cared enough to stop, talk, and check on them. Even if both of you know there may not be much you can do besides listen.

But what happens is one of your friends, co-workers, acquiantances knows you are looking out for them. And hopefully they will do the same for you. Sounds corny but in my experience it works. You will have strengthened inter-personal bonds and pulled someone tighter into your ring of social connection and influence. And the more people you have in that ring of connection and influence, the more options and opportunties exist. Not only for you but for everyone in that circle. Because now not only do you have multiple options if you need assistance, but you can connect others in your social sphere who may not know each other, but can be the solution to the others problem.

People have commented: “BH - the contacts you must have in your cellphone.” Exactly. A huge sphere made over time - a network waiting to be activated when the need arises.

And isn’t that what this is all about? Positive social influence where everyone is better off for what you do?

Now its my turn to apologize to Kitten for hijacking her journal …

OH, that would probably suck in Orlando then… Somehow the stuff in the UPS truck always arrives hot, though, while the postal stuff doesn’t. Could just be coincidence. The delivery speed though is very good and shipping for small items is better than UPS even with the high gas prices.

I actually agree with you Bosshank, though I’d say perhaps the reason you should be more open to people isn’t so much for material influence and reward, but spiritual reasons. You’ll become a very ugly person in the end if you keep writing people off just because they can’t do something for you instrumentally.

BTW, Kitten I sent you a PM not sure if it went through

Please don’t misinterpret - the primary reason for doing this is spiritual - actually wanting to help people and being able to better help people - hence really listening and being willing to interrupt your day to help if needed - and by doing this you create this sphere of influence that benefits everyone. I just do not really discuss my spiritual/religious beliefs in depth here.

Oh, I didn’t mean to imply otherwise necessarily… I just was clarifying my own position. Personally, I don’t know my own postal worker / delivery man/woman that well, though. I’m not rude to them or anything like that, they just rarely hang around long enough.

I am just stopping in to say Hi Kitten =)

Since I get all of my pheros delivered at work in Manhattan, I never have any issues at all from any carrier, DHL always gets it to me by 10:30 am like clockwork.

I don’t even see DHL trucks in Manhattan when I am on my way to work they have these little carts and they are running up and down the streets delivering them fast, I am always thinking to myself, wonder how many Androtics products are in there =)

I have always tried and have been fortunate enough to meet and have the opportunity to be friendly to many of these people to the point we recognize each other driving down the road. From the time I was in High School I have often gone out of my way to meet people like the janitors in my High School just to thank them for doing their job.

I am a big believer in the theory of watching how your date treats waiters/waitresses, etc.. because it has been my experience over time that says that is how they really treat most people around them - sometimes to include their own spouse or family.

Again Kitten - sorry for hijacking your thread with this discussion.

No hijack no foul. You’re one of those smart, kinda wise fellas, aren’t ya Bosshank? I find myself reading your posts slowly and actually appreciating what you have to say. You’re welcome to post here anytime.

I’ve seen plenty of DHL vans. But I have never actually seen my DHL driver.

Maybe I should hide in the bushes next time. If I leap out with my cell phone at the right moment, I can capture evidence of his existence.

bad kitty!!

I wish - I am just good at sounding that way - lol.

Thank you for both your graciousness and your vote of confidence.

Don’t get your hair cut when you have had too many cokes and a cookie and feel bizarrely optimistic and are wearing lots of Instant Shine and are talking a lot of nonsense. Don’t. I cut off all my haaaaaaaaaaaaair!!!

Now I have a Louise Brooks bob with Agyness Deyn bangs. And platinum hilites all over the front. It seemed like such a cool idea, perfect and beachy for summer and I had to get a haircut anyway for my cousin’s wedding.

The nonreaction started at the reception. I wore 2 sprays MX235 1 spray MX134 and some P74. No other socials because, sorry to be mean and horrid, but I did not want to get stuck at a table being polite to wise elderly people all night.

Normally this mix would work great. However, I was ignored. Seriously. Wait staff glided past like I was invisible. Except for an Asian guy. It had to have been the hair.

My date said my hair was “cute” (other people have called it cute as well). He was nice to me, but not as touchy feely as normal and seemed sort of out of it–not his usual intense overly-protecty self. And this kid, maybe 15-18 I have no idea, kept shadowing us wherever we went. Normally TG date would have somehow gotten the kid to buzz off, but this time he didn’t seem to care!

Oh, and there was this drunk guy at our table who thought I liked golf and kept staring at my profile whenever I looked away. :open_mouth::open_mouth::open_mouth: I didn’t know him. I tried talking to him, I tried ignoring him, I tried catching him at it and staring back. :open_mouth: I think maybe he might have had a brain disorder.

Anyway, I want my mojo back. I’m keeping the bangs tho. They are suave.

I need to come up with a new combo to make up for my lack of hair while it grows out. What do you think? I’ll call it Gamine Rx or something. Do I need cops? TAH? Socials? Stay away from TAL? More TAL? Any ideas are helpful because what I need most right now…is hope.

Yes, I am being melodramatic. You would be too if it happened to you. Your condolences are appreciated.

Kitkit.

Aww hugs don’t panic sweetie, the haircut is not that bad! I think it looks really modern, and chic. Some guys like women with longer hair since it’s apparently makes them more feminine, while other guys like women with shorter hair cause it so stylish. So it depends on the guy your with, if he was totally into you, he wouldn’t have been so “disappointed” (I don’t know how else to say it) with your new hair-do c’mon, it should be “just hair” to him, not like “omg, I’m careless about the little kid following her cause her hair is shorter”, I don’t mean to offend you, but if a guy does that, that’s messed up. But I do understand how you feel. hugs again. Don’t worry about it, your hair will grow back soon. Get some biotin vitamin pills to help them grow faster and healthier in the mean time.

So for the makeup, accessories…

I recommend wearing longer earrings, glitzy, shiny,
for ex. Swarovski crystals in any jewlery is extremely shiny, no matter what lighting you’re in. But if there’s really dim light, your earrings will shine alot! Very glamourous imo, definately makes you seem very stylish and girlie. When I wear these, guys want to play with my earrings. (Don’t worry about the price lol, I buy mine from places like Guess and boutiques and the prices range from 30 bux and up)

Makeup wise,

I don’t think it’s a good idea to wear smokey makeup (unless you want to come out really really strong…)

Stick with lipstick and lipgloss to emphasize your lips, red/pinkish/plum lipstick will do. Show them what you’ve got girl!

Eyes, lots of mascara!!! Batt those lashes! and if you want to use eyeliner, just be a little light handed with it.

Blush! Makes you look more girlie and since you’re hair is short, it’ll definately make you look “younger” but that’s just my opinion

As for the Tah (girlie, soft, cuddly) or Tal (strong, sexy)…

I say stick with Tah, if you feel like no one is still not giving you the attention. Tah will make you look more girlie, and sweet. While Tal will make you look “too” strong, and unapproachable.

Others will give you better advice than me on this one lol I tried to help :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, I really doubt you’re hair is that bad. Maybe, you’re just not used to seeing it so short. I remember my mom cutting my hair above my shoulders and I cried, and rolled around, punching the floor cause I thought it looked bad, but then I was like 12 (yes, I’m immature)…hmm, it doesn’t count… Screw what I just said! but my point is that I started to like the look after a while! But anyways just stick to looking more elegant/glamourous and you’d be fine until your hair grows back again

Hope it helped!

Ahhh Kitten, sorry about the bad haircut, (((((Kitten))))). But, if it makes you feel any better I’ve had hundreds of bad haircuts. I once had a stylist swirl my hair on top - I WANTED TO KILL HER!!!

msselva gave some good advice, I think. I mean come on, I ain’t a girl right? But, I’m gonna add my 2 cents anyway for ya: I’m thinking the MX134 is probably a good choice; dont know if it has cops or not, but if not I’d say to add some. I’m thinking that and some EST to bring out the nuturing and comforting and maybe a bit of TAK for the dissacoiative heppy/feel good effect.

If you don’t have either of them, I’d be happy to send you to-go bottles, just let me know.

Hmm the examples you gave were certainly stylish…actually i read somewhere that shorter hair on a woman denotes higher status and of course it does emphasis your profile.

…may be why that guy checked you out so much from the side. You must have a hot profile :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually i got some Swarovski crystal earrings last Christmas for my girlfriend.I thought they were great on her though it took her a while to get used to them.

A change of hairstyle is sometimes a shock, especially a radical change. You are likely to be treated differently, get attention from a different type of man. What i got from your post Kitten was that you were seen as more self-reliant, capable, more A than B…thats probably why you feel you need more cops.

Dont be harsh on your man its a shock for him too…were you testing him in some way.Seeing if he loved you more that your hair style?

Sometimes a drastic change takes a small bit to get used to. Everytime my hair gets cut, it takes me a week to adjust to it. Somehow it looks much better from there on out.

That said, I’m a total sucker for girls with short stylish hair.

I think women worry too much about their hair.

Besides, you didn’t post any pics… I bet you look good in your hairdo

agreed! and now you can’t cover your eyes or the rest of your face mwhahaaaa aaa…

Thanks for the support! Wow. That made me happy. What a bunch of sweeties! I was smiling as I read your responses. Thank you.

I do love my #1 TG and he loves me. I am pretty sure he was just distracted by all the work he could have been doing instead of fooling around with me and my relatives all weekend.

Anyway, today went much better. Getting ready for work, I went overboard on the femme details, it was almost like drag! Pink shirt, flippy skirt, bare legs and heels. Red lips (thank you Msselva), 2 coats of lengthening mascara, and raspberry blush. My dangly sparkly earrings are very casino. So I’ll need to look for some new ones. I really like that idea tho and I’m going to follow up on it. Pheromones: 3 sprays MX235, 1 dab Instant Honesty, and 100 mcg EST.

The cut was a hit. Overwhelmingly got called cute again. I’ll take it. The color got even better reviews. My BMWF (best male work friend) says he’s going to call me Blondie now. Come to think of it, my dad made a similar comment on Saturday.

So it’s cute, stylish. Great. But I’m used to – sorry for bragging – enjoying a little sex appeal while off the clock, so that was a problem I still needed to solve.

I was headed to the library with my ipod on shuffle, when Joe Le Taxi by Hanayo came on. And it hit me: I look french! I can work that. From now til it grows out, I will pretend I am a french jeune fille on vaycay from my job at Le Crazy Horse.

And I got a little hit from a gorgeous guy, also blonde heehee–and really tan, as I left the library. As I’m heading to my car, I hear some guy (with I think a South African or Dutch accent) following me, talking about the weather and how great it is that it is so hot out. I assumed he was talking on his phone. I was nearly to my car when he came up quickly and planted himself almost in front of me. No phone. “Hello!” Giant smile. “Are you having a good day?”

Unfortunately, because I was in the parking lot and it was late and getting dark and I was carrying my computer, I couldn’t afford to be nice to him. I kept moving, threw him a strong look, said “Hello.” firmly, trotted around him to my car and jumped in like a scaredy cat. Last thing I heard was, “I hope you have a wonderful day!” It was evening, but I’ll cut him some slack.
