Hi I am male in my early
40’s but youthful so not worried about wearing young scents. I need A fresh clean cover scent for Androstadienone.
Any advice guys ?
Are you looking for something strong or mellow?
My personal favorite is Original Vetiver. Something in the OV blends quite well with the A1 stink.

I find Kenneth Cole black is a great cover. It has some mandarin top notes.
I’ll toss in the ubiquitous Green Irish Tweed. It’s a Creed fragrance, the same as Snoopyace’s Original Vetiver suggestion, so it’s a little on the pricey side, but you won’t find very many people who don’t think it’s worth it. Fragrancenet.com is probably the best place online to get them both, or most any juice you’re looking for.
EDIT: Snoopy, I know what you mean by that “something”, and comparing OV and GIT’s notes, I’m beginning to think it’s either Sandalwood or Ambergris. Whatever the case, at least as far as GIT goes, it’s a great cover despite how light the scent is after drydown.
I think it is the Ambergris because I’ve used sandalwood scents with A1 and while they cover, they don’t blend with the scent as well.
Ambergris ? interesting, I know its used as a fixative , Data yeah I have heard Irish tweed is cool but it’s a bit out of my league price wise atm, shame the clone company doesnt ship to U.K.

They sell decants of high end fragrances, so you can get a small amount for a lot cheaper than a full-sized bottle. That and the occasional unbelievable discount are how I get the pricey stuff. No way in hell I’m paying the full $250 for a bottle of GIT. 
Also, I’m sampling several fragrances to find something new to wear for the spring/summer months, as my GIT is almost empty. Today, a sample for Creed Millésime Impérial came in, and it’s the very picture of “clean” and “fresh”. I don’t have anything with androstadienone in it at the moment, so I can’t say how well it would cover it, but damned if this doesn’t smell good. It’s got an aquatic salty, citrus, and melon opening and dries down to a soft woody musky scent that reminds me of money. Quite literally, it smells like fresh, crisp greenbacks. I’m going to put the sample vial I got through it’s paces, but I’m already leaning towards calling this my choice for the season.
I cannot fathom buying from them. In the end you pay much more than you would if you just bought the damn bottle. As an economist I am shocked that a company like this would be so highly regarded.
If you’ve got a spending limit, it’s nice to be able to get some variety. Yeah, economically speaking, their decants aren’t too much of a bargain, but sometimes, it takes more than a .05 mL sample vial to test whether or not something will work for you. I’d rather take my chances on a 5 mL to-go sized sprayer before deciding I hate the $150+ 3 oz bottle I can’t return.

Will look at that site as well, agree with you on being able to try scents out properly before spending big bucks.
neroli has worked out pretty well for me with my a-1 that I diluted in IS.
True, but taa is said to be one of the better, if not best smelling pheros, and is the main ingredient in IS, which is why I always apply that one last (almost as if to cover) as far as whatever neroli products I’m wearing that day, and even though I can’t tell the difference, I have gotten far more compliments on straight up smell when I apply the same mix but with IS on top.
Now as far as OV and GIT, where can one get them economically if they like said 5ml? Also, how do they do with the younger ladies? They make up 99% of my targets, so it’s important I ask. I might end up going with fierce because of that, but it would be better I think to break from the crowd… Or at the very least give the other scents a shot. And finally, if ambergris is the note that does it with A1, are there any other good scents that have it in them?

Oh and also, I bought a cover scent from LS because it got me free shipping, making it practically free, and I was wondering how those are (I assume they are copies because they are so cheap.) I got Polo Black because I heard from several friends (who are also targets/target age) about that scent.
Hey, I mention this now and again, but check out ScentSplits. Lots of decants of many scents and IMHO, it’s a better deal than other places, like the Perfumed Court. I like TPC, but I can buy a 10ml of a $250 for about $20, or thereabouts.
