If I wanted to make TAC oil would it work if I did the following:
- Mix 3 mL of DPG with 1 mL of TAC Alcohol based Spray (high concentration) together.
- Put in an empty eurodropper bottle
Is that all I need to do or is there more to it than that?

There is a post on converting alcohol to oils somewhere on this forum. I think that it’s 4 years old. I believe that it was mentioned that the ratio has to be 7 to 1 for good diffusion. That would mean 7 parts TAC to 1 part oil.
Steve O is the best person to ask though. Some of his early massage oils (circa 2011) were converted in this manner.
The ratio needed for making an effective oil varies with the individual pheromone concerned. About 6x is your starting point with something like Androstenone, other pheros could need as much as a 20x dose increase for an equivalent effect. This is why the proportions in oil mixes often differ greatly from alcohol-base.
So 7x would only be your starting point for testing and you would need a pretty hefty concentration to start with. This is what has always scuppered my idea of making a P83 oil to try - Even a 5ml togo at a reasonable concentration is so staggeringly expensive that the though of screwing it up is rather daunting!
Then with oils, ideally you will need to let them sit for a couple of weeks, shaking well daily to ensure even distribution of the pheros. If you have access to an electric agitator/stirrer, you could probably cut this down to a day or so.
And you will almost certainly need to add some more scent to aid diffusion. 6% Neroli simply vanishes when you put it in oil.
Hmm so this complicates things. Using the P83 as an example, I take it the concentration would have to be higher than any alcohol solution. So would you have to use pure crystals?
And when you say 6x concentration of androstenone, do you mean 6x the concentration per mL compared to an alcohol solution?
Yes, it complicates matters considerably - I like oils, a lot but not all pheros will suit being mixed into oil.
You would get your P83 in a much higher concentration - AD don’t sell it in crystal form, at least not to us mortals.

If its simply to reduce impact/prolong activity of alcohol, there are often other strategies that are less expensive and easier. Applying over lotions is one way and people have used a proportion Monolaurin in alcohol as an effective regulator.
Does anyone know if I can use Coconut (Fractionated) Carrier Oil to make my TAC oil instead of DPG?
