Mix Calculator 6.0 : More features

I modified the mix calculator significantly since the last version.
The new features are as follows:

  1. Select the output bottle as a “Sprayer” or “Dropper” bottle.

  2. Add component delivery as “mcg/drop” for products which are delivered from dropper bottles.

  3. Add components whose concentration is only known in terms of mg/ml (like NPA has 0.48 mg/ml).

  4. Ability to remove any component from the mix on the fly. (Click in the textbox in the column for components to bring the cursor there and press “F12”)

  5. Ability to add a new component without having to reenter data for existing components (Increase the no. of “components” and click “Input”)

  6. Create a report which summarizes the calculations in an easy to read format. (Just click “report” after calculation and save in a text file)

It’s still pretty intuitive. Read the instructions and check the available options from the drop down boxes. If you have worked with earlier versions this shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.

updated now using this

Very cool! Thanks!

Hey nbully, thanks! How do I do it if I have an available dose of 60 mcg? Under the drop down menu of available dose options 60 mcg isn’t available just 62.5 mcg. Is there a way to go about choosing 60 mcg?

Thanks again for your awesome work!

Hey miko, drop down list is only for convenience to quickly choose a dose. You can always simply type in the value.:stuck_out_tongue::slight_smile:

LOL, newest version of calc works much better, the save function and load are life savers…

THANK YOU!

I just spent 4 hours using your software to create a ICM base mix info in journal

Ha, ha awesome. Thanks! Didn’t see that.

Time saving tip:

As Dj mentioned, use the save and load buttons to save your current calculations in a text file and then load them next time so you don’t have to type all the values again.

Also, when you enter/select a value in any input box and press “enter” key, all the other input boxes of the same column (that are empty) will be populated with the same value. Try it.

i’m downloading when I get home so I can start figuring out some mixtures

mucho thanks

I uploaded a slightly modified version today which generates a much cleaner report that you can easily copy and paste in the forum if you want to share your mix with others.

Nice! Thanks bud!
