I was really frustrated with the old mix calculator (Mix calculator 3.0: software for calculations to create your own mixes) as many users could not install it because of MS office incompatibilities. So I completely revamped the software. The new Mix calculator does not use office Excel and has a new input method which is even easier to use.
I moved this down to the theory section because I honestly believe more members will get value from it. I think there are some ladies and others who don’t even visit the mens section.
excellent nbully, thanks a lot. Could you post the code for it as well? I am hoping to make a java based version for all to use, rather than just windows based.
I tried opening it with my MAC. I am not a tech guy so maybe the answer to my questions is obvious now but I rather double check: Is this calculator compatible with MAC? If so, How should I proceed once I unzipped the doc? If not, I guess that gives me a hint on why Mco will work on a Java version to make it accessible to all. :o
Cool. I look forward to it. I can run in Parallels, VMWare, Boot Camp and VirtualBox, but a nice little Java app would be nice.
I wondered about putting all the products into Excel and giving info on effects, usage, mixing, recipes, etc. Has anyone discussed that? That might not be too hard to do, it just might take a while to input everything and make it link well and look pretty.
idle, walk me through the steps that you perform before you get the error. I think there is some field that needs to be entered which you are leaving blank.
