MX102 is definitely 'edgier' than A314

Well after playing around with the MX102, I have come to the conclusion that it is probably a bit too edgy for me to wear at work.

I find that 2 full sprays to anywhere around the face area can even give me -None OD type reactions. I find myself snappy, aggressive, sexually frustrated, and can see others reacting negatively to it. Luckily one of the times I ODed, people’s aggression was directed at the boss, who has this habit of attacking people’s ideas - well boy did they stick it to her (with glee) that day in a roundtable meeting! Another time I got stuck in a car with some others (‘friends’) after playing football and being aggressive when playing it, they ‘got me back’ by absolutely clobbering me with thinly disguised put-down jokes all the way back lol. -None (or whatever else in there that is -None-like) just has this thing about it that brings out the nasty side of people.

I know that A314 does not have much -None in it, but the fact that the MX102 version is fast diffusing makes the little -None it does have in it, much more potent, at least for me.

With MX102 I definitely cant do 2 full sprays at the same time to that face area. I usually put one full spray on, and then spray another one on my fingers, from where I distribute the approximately half spray of pheromones remaining to my face.

I find that the effects dont last anywhere near as long as when I used to wear ‘mutant’ A314. Reapplication throughout the day needs to happen.

On the other hand, I do think that this one might be better for nights out if one wants to make an ‘immediate’ impact with people. I have definitely had ‘hits’ where immediately after application I got positive attention of ‘high-end’ classy, mature, career-focused and healthy (but often attached!) women in their late 20s and 30s. It might be very good for that purpose along with things like IS, CTTM-Mix 2, etc.

I also think that MX102/A314 generally makes things a bit too serious for me in my interactions with people my age.

On the other hand, it is a godsend at work when dealing with older and more experienced people. The people in ‘power’ treat you as a peer when you wear this stuff.

Visionary

Those are great observations, Visionary!

I believe that different people have very different levels of natural androstenone. Over years of pheromone experiments I have come to the conclusion that I have a little less than average for my age. Reasonable amounts of androstenone do a lot of good for me, but dosing is not easy because of residue effects.

Those different natural androstenone levels may be a reason why A314 works so different for different people. Possible OD effects will of cause be more obvious with the spray version.

As I have already mentioned, I am very impressed by MX172 @ 2 sprays, and I am wondering if you would get the same OD effects or if the new formular will help to offset the negative effects for “your type” of natural pheromone signature. If you can try it, please do!

How to reduce this edginess of MX102? For me my favorite A314 version is the Mutant A314. 1-2 drops works very well for me (even better than the regular A314). While I know regular A314 works better for most people, and most people find mutant A314 a little too intense. But I guess it goes well with my skin chemistry. Mutant A314 has one less pheromone than the regular A314. I wonder which one that is?

Also MX103-MX105 have one-two molecules removed from the regular A314 fray. Is any of them similar to the mutant A314 i.e. the same molecule missing as the mutant A314.

Visionary, how do you fare with MX103-MX105. Does any of those seem less edgier to you, MX105 probably??

Forgot to add, in my last 2 trials with MX102 it severly dampened the mood of my female company but we recovered in about half-an-hour and normalcy returned.

you might want to try MX105

Haven’t had any negative reactions from mx102 at 3-4sprays around neck/head area. Only positive. Sometimes I use 2 drops A314 oil with 2 sprays mx102. I never wear them by themselves. I always atleast add in some Instant Shine usually coupled with IH and or a little IO.

The original “magic ratio” worked for A314, was done using multiple oil versions. The diffusion curve for the spray versions is completely differently (and not entirely known), making a proper “translation” of it very difficult.

This is exactly the kind of feedback I need for this series. THANK YOU!

In the next A314 test series, maybe it should be either lower -none, or with more -none buffers. You guys can choose if you like. Ideas for new test packs are always welcome (especially now that we’ve stockpiled the little bottles).

The newest oil version of Classic (the one now shipping) is quite like MX172, btw.

All ultraconservative tweaks, so the primary effects wouldn’t change. It’s all ultrafine detail work, almost entirely in the area the 3rd layer of support molecules (what you’d call the “extras” in a movie). There’s a little more counterpoint now. Although unavoidably more symphonic in nature now (due to the addition of minute amounts of 5 pheromones), this 3rd layer should help to enhance, to better “bring out”, the primary effects… the “melody” of A314.

I hate to make personal comments about anything new (even revisions), but so far, I admit I do like it. It feels a little punchier and cleaner. We even have some new users reporting effects with A314 right away. That’s unusual. Generally, it takes people at least a month to begin to understand what A314 is doing for them.

I don’t know if you guys have the experience to understand this metaphor, but it’s sort of like what would happen if you moved Coke Classic formulary from high fructose corn syrup (which muddies the taste, “veils it” in part by occluding gustatory receptors) to pure fructose (simpler saccharides w/the extra junk taken out – cleaner, sharper, higher contrast, in terms of how they affect taste).

If anybody travels the world extensively, try comparing some of the different versions of Coke Classic to experience what I mean. Coke simply tastes better in some parts of the world, due almost entirely to the type(s) of sugar used. As far as I know, nothing else changes. The core formula in terms of essential oils and flavor compounds is all done compounded centrally, from what I understand.

I get what you mean, it’s a good comparison!

Now I am wondering: Is the oil version of A314 that I am currently using (shipped Nov. 16) the most current version, the one you are talking about?

If this is true, then the main reason for my much superior results with MX172 is the better diffusion from the spray - and probably better timing for the different molecules. I hope I can get a biiiiiig bottle of this hot stuff!!!

On a different topic, I have recently noticed, that the “light neroli” scent which you use on most products acts as an anchor for me to feel good. Since scents bypass much of our conscious mind, they make the best kind of sensory anchors. You know what I mean by anchor, in an NLP sense. It’s much more than a placebo. I don’t think there is any way to escape this effect, but it makes testing of different pheromones a bit (positively) biased…

Yes. That and MX172 are most similar. A314 Classic is up to “Revision 12”.

Well, that’s our old versioning system, anyway. I suppose we should change it to v1.2 or v2.2. I’d prefer v1.2. Even though it’s gone through 12 changes, they’ve been very minor in terms of end results generated. The “heart” has stayed the same.

So, you had an even older bottle of A314, didn’t you? Rev 11? Do you notice any difference between that and this one?

That’s right… you can chalk it up mostly to superior diffusion in the spray version (and perhaps the different diffusion curve, which may be releasing pheromones you’re particular fond of faster, and ones you aren’t, more slowly).

There may be a few more mods made to an eventual spray version of A314. I should take MX172 and make variations of it for the next A314 test pack.

See what a lower -none version will do, a TACless version, one with P80, etc. I’d love to be able to predict what all possible variations would do, but sometimes there’s surprises in a complex mix. Predictions are inferior to actual test results at this point in the game.

Interesting.

Yes, I definitely know what an anchor is.

I suppose that’s good for the consumer products (nothing wrong with making people feel good usually), but not so good for the testing realm. Great observation. I’ll note this bias when considering test results.

Is the revision number on the bottle of the A314? I have discarded mine unfortunately, because I use different bottles.

I have only used the old one (which I got from Love-Scent) few times because I got that bad skin reaction from it. As far as I can tell, the reactions were similar, but I have not done enough testing and had no experience with A314 before.

So that must be it. It feels like a totally different product and it’s just AMAZING!!!

Sure, I am happy to continue testing as long as you give me a chance to keep a big bottle of the stuff that works best for me!

I plan to wear A314 for the next years in business because I know that many little changes (in social business interaction) cause a huge difference over years. I have spent a lot of money on pheromones over time, but if you know what you are doing and you use them purposefully (not only to play, although that’s a lot of fun), it is an extremely good investment! And it gives you The Edge (ooops, that name is already taken…) :o .

We have a high Hispanic population in our area, so many stores carry “Mexican” Coca-Cola in glass bottles. I believe it is made with sugar instead of the HFCS crap. It’s one way of doing a comparison without having to travel…

…

Visionary, I agree.

I used to be a big fan of oil based products, until recently, when I realized that the alcohol based spray gives much more ‘edge’ to A314.

But my concerns are the same: You need to reapply much more and since the andorostenone sticks to the skin, this will add up quicker than with the oil version.

What we need is a second “refresher” bottle with a different formula, with less of the longer lasting pheromones!
