Need help escaping "THE FRIEND ZONE"

If we gain weight and stop dressing sexy and making ourselves look good do you men like it much?

Didn’t think so. We don’t like it when you stop doing the things you did when we met to woo us either.

Oh, and as far as treating us like sh!t goes? There is a reason there is a reason they say “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”. No game you play is worth making us going into our arsenal to strip you bare. Every time you do us wrong, you’ve worn down a part of us that will give a crap about you. Once we’ve hit zero, the nukes are armed and ready. You’ve been warned.

A bunch of situps will help force it right out. Kinda like squeezing a tube of toothpaste.

oh no. now i know why the gf’s been complaining =x

yes, i agree on the part with nukes. girls with nuclear warheads are scary enough to torch anyone’s ass :stuck_out_tongue: and take along a car, a house, and well. anything in a 10km radius :stuck_out_tongue:

You can be introverted and action-oriented. By “action oriented”, I mean a persons disposition towards physicality, something that isn’t measured clearly on the Myers-Briggs scale. Little boys run around more than little girls, they have ADHD more often, they prefer building things then tearing them down, etc - that’s physicality, and it doesn’t necessarily have anything to with your social preferences. Introverted means you prefer solitary activities and don’t get “energy” from being around people. It’s a generalization because nobody is 100 percent introverted all of the time, but in general an extravert will prefer activities where they interact with people and dislike solitary activities.

WWCND- “What Would Chuck Norris Do?”

People do need outlets for their creative energy, but it really does men not much good to show excessive emotions, especially “weak” emotions, or to talk or dwell on feelings too much. If you’ve gotta cry or let it all hang out, do it when nobody is watching, or with a friend- a really good friend, not somebody that will pick you apart. Or do it with a professional who can help you work through the problem and doesn’t give a crap except doing his job and getting paid, he or she is outside the social hierarchy and of course, everything is confidential

It’s better for a man to try and do something to change the situation, than to dwell on things, especially negative emotions. I’ve learned this from years of experience dealing with lots of negative emotions. You talk about your feelings only so much, but the feelings and problems are still there and it’s Catch 22. A little humor never hurt either, even if it’s black humor. And it’s good not to vent any anger you have on people that are just as much victims as yourself- a mistake alot of men make. That really ties into depression, too- alot of men respond to depression by getting angry outwardly (I knew a guy casually that beat up a neighor’s car with a sledgehammer and was commited, just because he was depressed/angry, this is probably alot more common than many people admit to- antidepressants and a little R&R therapy cured it).

cool cool

I know the feeling of the “friend zone” It sucks but dont give up and try to relax and not push to hard for it to change overnite. Have you ever noticed that if you try too change or impress someone too much too fast you can actualy push them farther away? I know this from experience but all will be well in the end. A funny thing my cocky friend says is " The friend zone wont lead to the End Zone!" I don’t know if I agree with that much but it is funny.
