NLP on television ("the Mentalist")

On the Mentalist (CBS) tonight they had an episode where the killer was an NLP guru who apparently hypnotized another NLPer into killing a woman.

In 1989 Richard Bandler was indicted for murder. I was out of the country at the time and didn’t have the opportunity to read up on it until years later. Bandler beat the charge. Otherwise, the TV show did not particularly seem to parallel the Bandler case.

Their depiction of NLP was about as accurate as their coverage of economic policy or political candidates. Still, it was amusing. Well, I’d been drinking. Otherwise I’d just be pissed off.

Anyone else see it? Any comments?

I’m not sure you’ll get it. This is an Americanized version. This year we’ve also ripped off Life on Mars (http://abc.go.com/primetime/lifeonmars/index?pn=about) too.

First of all people might know what I think about NLP and bandler

Second, people should never take what they see on TV shows seriously becuase it done for entertainment, and almost every single group gets insulted and misaligned and you should take it with a grain of salt

Third, I watched the mentalist once and I think that show sucks…it is impossible to be right 99.9% of the time which he is and an arrogant ass at the same time
