does anyone know how to take a oil based product and put it in a spray bottle?
i wouldnt do it
what product you trying to do?
oil base + atomizer (sprayer) dont work to well
It’ll clog up immediately. Also, oil tends not to mix well with anything else, so trying to blend it in with some kind of perfumer’s alcohol or whatever wouldn’t work.
Oil will not spray out of the nozzle and if you dilute it so you can spray it you lower the effectiveness of the product considerably
I would just use it as a oil should be used and cover.
Keep this in mind for the alcohol based products as well. You not supposed to mix them together or with cologne.

I stumbled across this Oil Atomizer today, so, if you really want to, you could use this.. as long as you have 2 tablespoons of High Proof Vodka ![]()

But mightn’t you end up smelling like a lush? Just “lushious”, lol ![]()
just a thought. in the case of primal instinct which has a very high concentration of none, is it possible to dilute it and ‘‘lose’’ some of its effectiveness which in my case would be a good thing as i’m just 23? if like a ratio of 1:10 would be a good thing as it would reduce the dosage to ~2 or 3 mcg of none in each spray
wow thanks you inspried me to do some reasearch on google, and here’s what i found:
you can atomize oil fragrances by mixing 25% oil, 70% high proof grain alcohol (i’m gonna try everclear) and 5% distilled water.
i’m just concerned about the alcohol thing…is having vodka on your skin such a great idea or even safe?
It should be safe, after all it’s only alcohol, which is the base for the phero sprays here. Now, if your concerned about the smell, don’t be, alcohol has a scent, but it is only really strong once ingested (smell on your breath being merely a metabolic byproduct of ingestion).
So, the oil’s smell should cover most of it, but you’ll have to experiment a little to find the best cover scent method. ![]()
Remember though, you could still prove Sillykitty’s inquiry right, if you try it, do so on a smaller scale beforehand. ![]()

For diluting oil-based products, because of how well they work, I’d instead just dilute with pure mineral oil rather than trying to convert to a spray.
I cut my Primal Instinct 5:1 in pure mineral oil to have a 5 mcg per drop solution. A few drops of that and I’ve got a good eight hours of solid results. With spray ones, I tend to not get more than four.
Yeah, it really just comes down to quality vs quantity (quantity being application time\effort). I myself prefer sprays, even though they don’t last as long.
There are downsides to both oils and sprays, with oils if by chance you do need to reapply, say you get wet and it wipes off, it is an obvious inconvenience to reapply, especially if you don’t want to lug the bottle\s around, and the sprays have shorter half lives, meaning more applications throughout the entire day, even when negative, mitigating factors are at a minimum.

You do realize that by diluting the product you throw off the ratio of mones to carrier making it less effective and sometimes not effective at all.
Lets take A314 for example. Suppose you use 2 drops to see results. At the ratio your using above you would need 14 sprays just to equal 1 drops of A314. That means 28 sprays for your dosage. That’s a lot of alcohol your spraying and it will leave a smell as well as dry out your skin which hampers diffusion because the oils will then absorb instead of diffuse.
When you turn a single mone like anone that’s already carried in oil to a spray conversion you would buy a very high MCG like to bring it down to a workable level but when your working with a mix that the ratio has already been configured your just messing up the mix.
The only time I suggest diluting a mix is when your sure its to high with one drop and then I would only diluted it by 1/8 not by 3/4Th.
