People around me start sniffing when I'm nervous: could pheromones explain it?

Hello, I have notice that when I’m a bit nervous, even a very few, my presence makes people around me regularly sniffing. I noticed this only since 6 month or so and it is really unpleasant because it tenses me up more. It’s a dry and short sniffing, like when someone who is under cocaina would make if you see what I mean.

Usually only one persone sniffes at a time, the closest one, and if I’m talking with the person then it never happens or it dissapears.

I really have troubles to understand this phenomenom and one of my ideas is that it would be related to pheromones (that’s why I registered here) and maybe to some of bronchodilatator properties than they may have.

Did you hear anything about this? Can pheromones include catecholamines?

To me it sounds like a kind of unconscious competition from a primitive state inherited with evolution

Thanks !

Its probably part pheromonal part Body Language. When your nervous you give off both a pheromonal and visual signal that people read subconsciously. Some are conscious of it like me but thats because I am familar with ready both. When you nervous it can make others nervous. Similar to you yawning and everyone following suit or how laughter is contagious.

I know it can be hard to control nervousness and you wont totally get rid of it but deep cleansing breathes usually help. Relaxing your Body also will help dull those signals your sending.

Pheromonally you could use something that projects a air of confidence like A314 or IG.
