Pheromones as Alternative Therapy

I’ve noticed that pheromones might actually be a possible form of therapy, maybe not in the near future but in time to come.

Joe10’s post on P75 and his brother came right on the heels of a discussion between me and a few other friends about the possibility of mones helping treat low levels of mental illnesses or dysfunctions/neoroses or even complement traditional therapy. Just like how homeopathy is considered an alternative remedy and the asians such as the indians and chinese have their own traditional medical practices rooted somewhat in the arcane (accupuncture, different leaves and herbs) I believe mones might be another route to treating disorders, however one that needs to be approached with care and not in replacement of proper medical advice and procedures, and also with the knowledge of possible unwanted side effects (but then again, some unwanted side effects might become wanted effects eventually. look at viagra  ).

The discussion involved a few of us, a banker, a few civil servants, and most notably, a medicine major choosing to pursue a route in psychiatry,

I passed around my bottle of A314 and asked each of them to put a dab under their noses.

The reaction from Mr Doctor (as I shall name him here) was most remarkable. He pronounced it as hogwash and that the brain responding to the “smells and scents” of the perfume which was what was causing the self-effects and that the brain was reacting to the external stimuli. He brought up the subject of aromatherapy as an example. I then proceeded to douse him in mx297. He paused, took the togo from me and then proceeded to spray himself again. I had another believer who promised to do further research but couldn’t eliminate his doubt entirely yet due to his belief in modern medicine, that which’s been rigorously tested and proven, drug trials and proper procedures, findings not grounded in some form of a forum that’s prone to personal opinion or possible skullduggery

But he still took a fresh bottle of mx297 off me anyway.

The rest started to ask for a try of mx297 and one of them who was known to be very brilliant chap in university (but had the occasional habit of using certain substances such as modafil or propanalol to give him that added boost when it was nearing exam time) remarked that the self effects of mx297 could be compared to that of a very low dosage of “xanax” or rather a benzodiazepine.

Another bud whom I’ve also recommended mones to also remarked that the mones seemed to affect him differently while he was on medicines that inhibited dopamine transporters. The self effects were either less pronounced or the feeling felt “different”.

I’d like for everyone to consider seriously the possibilities of the directions that mones could take. Already we have so many reports of self-effects and of users also believing self-effects to be one of the chief driving aspects of using pheromones to positively influence or lives and therefore influence or attitudes and approach with other people. Positive reinforcement, positive visualisation, positive expectation, positive actualisation and therefore positive results.

The reports are endless

P102 for focus and concentration (uses for ADD and ADHD perhaps?)
P130 for chill and removing of anxiety
P86 for removing anxiety and its possible sedating effects that might help with insomnia or sleeplessness induced by an overactive mind (I believe I did read somewhere about Tacitus mentioning this)
Putatives that induce empathy and emotion (certain mental illnesses include the inability or lack of ability to emote or experience empathy and in some extreme cases emotion)

mixes like mx297 remove social anxiety and even anxiety in itself
mx412, IS and TAA bringing cheer and instant joy, IO removes shyness and aids in communication

and what about A314 which helps eliminate or reduce low self confidence and inferiority complexes?

I believe the day where mones become mainstream is not very far off. I’d like for this post to stimulate some thought. I’m in no way advocating replacing recommended medical instruction and procedures to be replaced by pheromones. I’m just putting forward the postulation of the medical world one day looking at and recognising pheromones as an alternative form of treatment and that we’re all pioneers (some earlier, some later) of sorts in this grand process.

ps. after posting I’m not sure if this is in the right board for this to be on as I’m hoping for the female members to read this as well. would it be better in the lounge?

pps. ok, sorry for the trouble but could an admin move this to the lounge? haha.

shift this to the lounge if possible

The human mind is a very intricate and complicated thing to crack if we want it to be.

There are many ways to argue upon the actual effects vs placebos.

But it is through the reports, constant law of large numbers, and by using them with good intention that it creates a sort of therapy way to look at things.

Mones are like social combat as to supplements are to workouts. They effect the human body in different ways through different receptors, but they do it from the main intention of the user.

This is why intention is so important.

But I like the idea of therapy for some people. Needless to say much testing is needed to be done before this is widely accepted. However, I can envision that this will become a very large part of society depending on how open they are.

Looking at it in a macro view, people are psychologically wired to actually want to try out mones. However as stated earlier, whether or not it can be used as a therapy depends heavily on the intention of the user.
