Anyone experienced success/failure of pheromones when used against those with strong willpower (conscious & rational beings)? Against people who are strongly determined not to be affected (no inclination/rapport) towards the wearer? Will pheromones win the fight?
From experience, no they won’t. At least for short term acquaintances.
A stressed person would take much more than any phero to calm down. It may help, but it won’t be ‘it’. Same for one that is determined to not look with good light at that other even if he/she ‘smells’ nice.
The puzzling way that phero’s may seem help, is with a long term acquaintance, via conditioning for days or weeks. Attitudes can subtly change with time. The puzzle being, was it phero, or your attitude and amplified attention (which comes usually with phero’s usage).
While phero’s can come of help, there is no substitute for human attitude and skillfulness with each other.
The thing is those that are strongly determined not to be affect may still get affected as they do not know about pheros and pheros may subconsciously alter their view of you. However if you really dont get on with someone, pheromones can definitely make the atmosphere ‘civil’ and they may think of you as OK but they won’t on their own make them like you a lot or feel close to you.
my very strong opinion until experience shows me differently is that pheros effect everyone whether they swear they dont or not.
that doesnt mean if your intent is to calm one down and they get rowdy it didnt work; or that if someone says “honestly this has no effect on me” that it doesnt. also, i think when i believe something is not affecting me, i also do not take into consideration that it is just not affecting me the way it should or implies it should. someone with an iron-will is still only putting up a front, thus the usage of will.
the fight,as you put it, is intent.
will pheros win the fight/create a rapport where there wasnt one?
in my opinion-
oh my yes. atleast temporarily (and in the very least,on the inside!)
There was another thread where Ail vouched for the power of cops. I believe her on that, as I’ve already tried a sample and many other pheremones. One thing you have to keep in mind though is that pheremones, even for some of the stronger ones, will not or at least will not “consistently” make people rip off their clothes and do all these things. They will help affect someone though. Another example is if someone is already in a strong mood, it does mean your phero combination can replace whatever they are feeling in the moment.. or it cannot hold them spellbound if what they are thinking.. or could think in their mind is alot stronger than what you are throwing at them. Not sure if this makes sense to anyone, does it?
Pheromones may affect all (or nearly all) exposed to varying degrees in terms of mood, rapport, activation/calming, arousal - but they won’t absolutely determine behavior. Cops may give a man an erection but if he’s very distracted, ill, angry or depressed … he may not even consciously notice, much less act on it!
Yeah.. just ran out of cops and will have to get a new bottle. I use it more for my own personal use rather than triggering attraction in others, like giving me a quick lift.
Some pheromones can be used to strengthen the wearer’s own willpower, e.g. A314 gives me motivation, the resolve to do & achieve something, to do something the right way, with purpose & mindfulness. (working dosage differs according to individual)
It would be nice if others can help expand the list i.e. listing a product & the way it affects you positively
Other pheromones are worn to reduce the willpower of others, or to assert a particular impression of you in their minds, so they are more susceptible to your influencing (various, active/passive).
Being a calm, rational, imperturbable sort of person, it is not often that the mere presence of another person has the power to do any more than make me recoil from the olfactory shock caused by their halitosis or their overpowering aftershave. But very occasionally (about once a decade) I have found myself intensely affected by the mere presence of a particular man – so intensely affected that it has taken every ounce of self-control to appear unmoved.
The effect is extreme, both physically and psychologically. Primal. Overwhelming. It feels as though the man has godlike power – the power of a man; masculine power. You feel totally held by this power. The desire to be taken by the man is so intense that it is frightening. It can be difficult to breathe, or difficult to remain standing, let alone maintain a conversation. Bone dry mouth, zero appetite, heart all over the place, the fear that you might faint, shaking like a leaf, body positively screaming to be taken, a reckless willingness and primal desire to do whatever that man wants. The masculine power of the man – you feel that power with every fibre of your being. Melting in a white-hot inferno of desire, out of your senses, so far out of control psychologically that you can’t even imagine being in control, totally in his power. You feel owned by the man, totally his, totally submissive.
If at the time, you’re at an academic conference unrelated to your own field, and you are trying to have a highly technical discussion about an arcane piece of research, say, being thus affected by a complete stranger can be a little disturbing. Just as well it only happens once a decade. And just as well I have iron self-control.
yes, agree - it’s unlikely that the intensity of her reaction is a universal thing. but is the quality of the emotion more so? 'none is about brute dominance…
