She really dug my A314 experiences, but i’m not sure how that would go over with a post-menopausal woman. I know how it works on men, i know how it works with me, don’t know how it would work for her. So i thought maybe MX134 - but then I don’t know how cops would work with her hormonal state either. She doesn’t need to be weepy, she definitely wouldn’t want guys humping her leg, and she doesn’t need women being bitchy.

I couldn’t really characterize the difference in effect between MX105 and MX134, but MX134 is the one designed for women, so it’s supposed to lack any male vibe at all. I wear the two interchangeably. Neither one of the two has the gravitas of M314 (which I love, but it doesn’t make me feel like talking or being social; it’s great for decision making, research, things like that). Compared to A314, MX134 and MX105 both feel less masculine, more social, more balanced; they induce a highly capable, socially smooth state. Too bad neither one of the MXs is available in full size yet!! They definitely deserve to be moved into the consumer-ready product line.
I think you’ve noted cyclic differences in how A314 feels to you but I haven’t, and I’m probably much closer to menopause than you; it’s possible our different hormonal balances account for that. Can you let her try a little vial of your A314 and see how it works for her? I do think it would be too somber for her profession without lots of nol to lighten it up, and some TAH wouldn’t hurt either.

ah thanks. I thought MX135 was an A314 varietal. I’m doing some research now, on what exactly the hormonal state is post-menopause. She’s hasn’t seen aunt flo since the last millenium, but i’d hate to presume she’s in a total void, only to find out her body is full of progesterone. She’s prone to depression as it is, and i can imagine the sea-anchor feeling i experienced doing a number on her. At the same time, the tremulousness of cops when i am estrogen-dominant, also doesn’t bode well for soemone constantly on the verge of depression. So that’s my main concern.
i felt much the same way as you descrivbed when I used MX134. But as you say A314 may be too somber - do you not think either 134 or 105 would be better? or are you thinking the QE2 feeling would help her, whilst everything else lightening others up will help them?
See, that’s the trouble I have with IS/A. That’s my basic nature, it’s who I’ve become. I probably would’ve loved Mix A in my 20s when I was much more yin and docile, but now … man, I’m tired of being in charge (and just imagine how everyone else around me feels, lol … “get that girl a tall glass of marilyn monroe, wouldya?” … and sit down!)
I think if she’s already battling some heaviness in her mood, then go with MX134 or MX105 for sure. With those, she may not even need to add any extra nol for lightening the mood, but the beta nol in IH would probably help speed up the communication/decision process for her clients. It really helps people realize and verbalize how they feel about things!
