Please help: girls with boyfriends??

That’s what separates the boys from the men. Your never really sure until you seriously commit and let the relationship run its course. Relationships are hard work and never perfect. The right one is the one both partners care enough about to fully commit to and work on. Its the one that makes you both want to stop looking for the next best thing. Sure one day your going to both come across someone who you connect with or who you find attractive. This is when the true test of your relationship and character happens. Its when you dont pursue that connection and attraction for another that you finally know “this is the one” .

So many people think that just because they are in a relationship they will never be interested or attracted to another. This is so untrue. Its what you do when faced with that attraction that determines the right one.
Your partner doesn’t determine who the right one is for you. You do that. Its a choice and if you wont make a choice because your focused on it possibly being the wrong one then you end up with nothing.

Tisha

You’re entirely correct there is an abundance of people in the world.

Yes you need to compete with other men for a woman - In my opinion that sort of thing should be done on the up and up.

Tisha is correct here - It is a logical fallacy to assume that there is an exact right girl out there for you.

There are many, many, many girls out there that will make you very happy - That is sufficient (Do not let the perfect be the enemy of the good)

Well sometimes in a relationship you both can have some side avantures, but still be together and in love.I have such examples. For instance my ex’s gradpa and grandma. They are around 80 but still in love.Yet they are known both to had side avantures along their marriage.

Well you shouldn’t compare your relationships to anyone elses. What was right for your ex’s grandparents may not be right for the relationship your in. It depends and both partners outlook and morals. Many people do have a open relationship. Its something you need to discuss with your partner and come to a agreement on. However having your “side adventures” without being open and honest brings other issues to a relationship. A good lasting relationship is not built on love. Don’t get me wrong love is important but there are other factors that build a strong relationship Trust and respect. Without those two you can have all the love in the world and it wont make you happy.

Love is something you feel but a relationship is something two people build.

I think your trying to justify why its OK to have “side adventures”. If your partner and you have discussed it and are open to this in your relationships then you dont have to justify it. The respect trust and love are there. However you can not justify hurting another person and if that side adventure is something you know would hurt them then not only do you damage the love trust and respect you have with your partner but you damage the love trust and respect you have for yourself. You can sugar coat it all you want and try to justify it by looking outside yourself but you can never escape yourself and that is where the truth lies. The choice is yours and yours alone and you are the one who has to live with it. You can run from it for a little while but it always catches up. Its the law of nature.

Like Tish said

Side Adventures are cool… but not when they are done in secret, and not when the other partner doesn’t agree.

Oh and believe me - You can cheat on your partner and they will still love you. It doesn’t mean that you haven’t hurt them deeply… but they can still love you.

That’s when you know that the love is NOT generic!

A serious cause of breakups!! You are NOT missing nothing … no matter what your friends did last night.

I disagree on that one, Tish. From the roots of love you’ll find trust and respect, and all of the other powerful and wonderful things that filters from it. On my planet, when someone says they love me … to me, that means that they respect and trust me + all of the other goodies that ‘I’ call love. :stuck_out_tongue:

Love to all!!!

I wear whatever I like around women, married, involved, single, whatever.

I wear it sometimes to see what she’ll do, and sometimes to get the desired effect. It’s not always a sexual effect I get (or want) from, say, TUTH.

However, I have a strict rule (which is being challenged by a very, very attractive nude model of mine right now) that goes like this:

I don’t touch taken. Period.

So I don’t tease or try to cause a woman to commit infidelity, and I refuse to be part of it, but I don’t let her taken-ness deter me from achieving my goals otherwise.

Sometimes it is hard to abide by this rule, but it is always worth it. So basically, when a woman is coming onto me, or testing me, or whatever, if she’s taken, I simply state the facts: “I don’t touch taken. There are no exceptions to that rule. So if you want to be with me as more than a friend, you must make yourself single first.”

Good advice. I wish I had started listening to it earlier.

As for giving her your number, as long as it’s kept to friendship only, that should be fine. But don’t intentionally try to steal her.

I guess I’ll be the dick and put my 2 cents into it. Does the girl say any bad things about her boyfriend? If so, this is usually a sign that she’s interested in you. It is of my opinion that if you want a girl, then you can do whatever it takes to get her. Hang out with her, take her out, practice kino with her, whatever your heart desires. If she truly loves her boyfriend, she will deny your advances and stay with him. If she has any doubts about him however, she may welcome your advances and it may escalate. Look dude, I was always the nice guy who didn’t wanna bother a chick cause she was taken. But too many times I’ve found out that sometimes bad things had to be done to achieve good outcomes. If all you want is sex, then I would maybe try to steer clear. Though if I was single, I can’t honestly say I wouldn’t sleep with a married woman.
