Im from wisconsin, and as folks from around this area know, its starting to get nice (FINALLY!) Im looking forward to getting on the bike and riding again… which brings me to my question…
Does wind have an effect on the mones? Meaning, if i put some on, alcohol, or oil based, and ride to my destination, will it have been a useless application?
On a side note, i did get my SOE, and i have noticed that in order to get more of a ‘hit’ I have to wait a little longer for the oil effect to take action Not such a bad thing, but i am looking to pick up some IO and Ammo, to try some awesome-er mones, and maybe use SOE to compliment them… altho, i still am in my testing phase with the SOE. I shall try to keep you folks updated.
Not to bring up a dead post… But would someone like to explain this a little better…? So, yes, the wind will affect the effect of dispersion… does this mean that the Effects of the Mones, will be far less in this situation? For example, the wind almost acting like a Squeegee, and wiping off the applied product? Or am i just beating a dead horse here… lol Does anyone else ride that would like to chime in as well? I cant be the only one here…
Well wind or any sort of “liquid” will effect the applied mones. By liquid, I mean air or water or sweat. There are likely 2 common scenarios you may be interested in:
When you are riding, your mones will not really affect anyone because as soon as the mones disperse, you are already 15 mph ahead of it! A good example is cologne. Ignoring the ambient temperature for a moment, if you wear cologne, you can smell it if you’re stationary, right? But it’s much harder, if at all, to smell the cologne when you are riding your bike because the wind is “pushing” it away.
Depending if it the air is warmer or cooler outside, the mones could be dispersing faster. Similar to an air hand dryer in restrooms. It will dry the water off your hands faster than no air movement. Even if the air is cold, your body is likely to get very warm and sweat. Your body transfers heat to your sweat and evaporates into the cooler air (including the mones!), which is how your body keeps itself cool!
