I go outside alot, how much does wind actually play into phero diffusion
I would guess that wind would “dilute” your phero sig, weakening it a bit, but at the same time increase the range. So maybe apply a bit more, but still be careful not to OD
So just like everything else, try it out and see what works and what doesn’t.
In my experience it doesn’t cause too much of an effect at all. I’ve walked up to an hour in strong winds, but the pheros have still worked up to 3 hours after initial application. I still notice the subtle hints that I’m producing. Maybe be different for other users though, and depends on a range of factors such as humidity, force of wind, how much pheros are applied and your natural body chemistry when it comes to diffusion.
I think the OP is asking about mone effectiveness outdoors while windy, not if the wind erodes mone dosage. After all, most mones are applied in fairly protected areas (save the few whom employ forehead apps). Mones work through the olfactory organ in our noses. If your target is is downwind, your mone molecules will quickly reach the nose of your target. However, if upwind, the molecules have no chance. Position is key. If the wind is light, lick finger and judge direction…
I find mones work best in enclosed places, especially small offices, cars, booths, etc. The great outdoors can be pretty iffy unless in close to your target.
It can work for or against you. I’ve actually seen someone else “steal” my phero sig due to wind.
Well, it works and doesn’t work depending on how windy it is. If you’re in a gentle breeze it will waif around you and out to your targets. If you’re in gale force winds they’ll whoosh out there and virtually be gone.
One evening I had one of my best IH hits while I was sitting at a beach bar. (I had sprayed it in my hair.) It was a warm night with gentle breezes…my targets were sitting beside me and standing about six feet behind me. Wolf was standing with the male target behind me and they were chatting. Later in the evening when we were talking about it Wolf said to me he couldn’t believe how much this guy spilled to him! He knew it was the Honesty at work…and, man, did it work well!
So, you get the idea. Of course, a captive audience in an enclosed space is ideal, but pheromones can work very well in a somewhat controlled (i.e., not too much wind) outdoor environment. It has for me anyways.

Now I am confused. Not by your post itself though.
If it would be possible for someone stealing your sig, then why would one bother to use mones in a busy or very crowdy bar or club. When you are packed like sardines nobody would figure out you are the one sending the signal.
I thought the mones mingles with your body chemistry and thus your sig would be ‘fingerprinted’.
I found mones pretty ineffective in extremely crowded places. Everyone is in your face, it’s difficult to localize the source of individual mones and the collective stank of humanity desensitizes everyone. Mones are at their best in smaller groups or one on one.
Actually it’s been documented on the forum and people have used their sigs to help out their friends.
Basically your pheromones go where the air flows. Pheromones dont work in every environment but they certainly work outdoors. You see it in the animal world all the time and most animals live outdoors.
The thing to remember though is that pheromones are just one tool/sense we use to communicate and they should work in conjunction with the rest of our tools/senses. This is were congruence fits in. People dont steal your signal however if your not congruent with your signal then they can benefit from it.
I hate to use this example again but I cant think of one off hand that fits and has been widely seen by most people.
Bambi LOL
I know its lame but most of us have seen it and I cant find any good clips from animal planet.
Remember the scene when the whole herd is out in the meadow and the hunters come. The first indication is the pheromone signal. The Alpha sends a alert signal out and all the heads of the adult deers pop up and look around trying to process the signal. They sense danger. At the same time the Alpha who sent the signal runs into the meadow and using body language (another form of communication) indicating danger is approaching and the whole herd scatters. If it weren’t for the orchestra playing in the background you would have heard some low guttural grunting from the alpha as well (verbal). There is no question as to who sent the pheromone signal. The Alpha is congruent with the signal being sent. Now if another male in the herd sent the signal and just stood there like a lump on a log and the Alpha runs in the meadow using BL and verbal grunts he could steal the pheromone signal from the male who sent it.
My point is that even in crowds your mone signature leads to you but if your not congruent with that signal people will look to find the source of that signal. Pheromone will mingle with your own natural signature that becomes uniquely yours but in a bar setting where people are not familiar with one another they cant trace that signal to you without the other senses or at least being familiar with your signature. If my husband whose signature I know walks up behind me I can sense him before I see him. In fact most people can do this.
anywhooo… Back to the wind. If your out in hurricane force winds you have a problem but its not your pheromone signature LOL The last thing you will be thinking about is being attractive.
General air currents..breeze…even occasional gust wont hurt your signal however it will direct it so if your target is upwind like Gegogi said then they are not likely to get the signal.
