I have a general question regarding putatives. Do they work, and how do I know that two putatives are exactly the same e.g. P100 is the same as P94 just with label change. Is there any way to tell the difference?
Hi Carl, putatives are single molecules that are believe to be or behave like pheromones, not much is Known about what they do and they are offered (IMO) as research items and AD benefits from the reports of our findings as we test them. On the change of label thing I don’t think AD would do that with the putatives (I don’t know but I could see it within a MX test pack as a double blind study). In my experience AD is and needs to a serious research company in order to come up the excellent product they sale in the Consumer line and experimental mixes. Hope that helps.![]()
They dont just put different labels on the same molecules but sometimes they can be the same at a different purity level. This can make a difference in the effect. Like P88 is a less pure version of P93
Putatives are for the advanced users and yes some of them work very well but they are in testing and not under the guarantee. If you choose to be a tester thats something you should be aware of when purchasing.
If you test and report on all your products starting with the consumers you can get on the reporting users list and get some big discounts on the advanced products for testing.
