Citing is good. But this is more than being about plagerism.
I’m more concerned with full contact, when possible, before posting, and a thorough compilation of potential effects - both positive and negative.
Here’s an example from my own latest mixes:
I am a big fan of P80 and I use it in place of Androstenone - which I have had bad reactions to.
Some of my sexy mixes contain both P80 and P79. P80 has always been considered a strong masculine pheromone, and P79 has been variously classified, most often as an intensifier, but also as a wildcard. These two molecules in my mix work for me and for my husband in very good ways. But the two together have the potential for some startling, and potentially frightening effects. Bella’s husband applied P80 and P79 and ended up throwing her on floor and spanking the living daylights out of her. It’s in her journal if you want to read about it.
So Musky reported something similar using P80 with no P79, when he ended up be uncharacteristically aggressive with his wife:
My husband and I have not had a similar episode. But our aggression is ramped up sexually in appropriate and fun ways. But I wouldn’t want any of my recipes containing P80 and P79 to be posted to the recipe section without thorough and adequate warning to the potential effects for this type of aggression from these molecules.
Both of these episodes quoted above, the participants were also wearing Androstenone, and it could be (but not certain) that Androstenone with P80 (one with P79 and one with P83) thrown in cause this over the top aggression. But we don’t know. And there’s the rub. But the constant here was P80.
When I first decided to use P80 and P79 together, I went in knowing there was a potential for trouble. So I went slow, started very dilute, and raised the dosage of each molecule individually until I got the response from myself and my husband that worked for us at the level of intensity that we wanted. I’m still pushing the envelope and as soon as I hit the cut off I’ll report on that too.
Something like this, though, how can you cookbook it? I don’t think you can. In cases like this you still have to find your own sweet spot, and whether this particular molecule or that particular molecule works well with you personally or not.
And the potential for trouble makes posting warnings about it required, imo.
