Blindsided, confused, frustrated, angry, hopeless, lost, scared… This is how I felt after my wife approached me one evening. This was a month ago. She wanted a divorce.
Pleading, arguing, and fighting ensued before she got up and walked out the door. The next day I moved out on my own.
My wife has PTSD problems that tend to make her push everything close to her away, but this was unlike anything I’ve experienced with her before.
The next few weeks became darker and darker. We would fight over everything. Emotions were high. We both said horrible things.
I realized I needed to change my own actions, to stop letting emotions affect my actions and reactions. After calming down and learning about 'mones, I decided to give it a shot and grabbed the intro pack.
I posted on the forum to learn more about what I should use in my situation. After weighing in on some potentials, I decided iShine and IH were a good start. Almost a month into the separation, I made her a special gift that I knew would hit her in the good feelers while wearing IH and iShine. She opened up, loosened up, told me she feels like she’s made a big mistake.
I enjoyed the evening in her company talking about life and left it at that.
A week later I stopped by to find she was really sick with the flu. I was wearing Ammo, iShine, and IH (I had no idea she was going to be sick). I spent the day taking care of her, making sure she was resting, safe, and hydrated. The next morning, I wore iShine and she was incredibly thankful. We had an amazing heart to heart. Her walls were dropped. She made attempts to make love, but I told her we need to continue working on us before we make things more complicated.
In this situation, sex is very complicated. She is confused about what she wants and part of her PTSD is causing sex to be a terrible thing for her mental health. But the fact that she’s back to realizing “I’m attracted to this guy I’m married to” is definitely a good direction.
I’ll let you know as things progress!
