In order to enhance the security of air travel and to help manage illegal
immigration, the Department of Homeland Security has solicited a proposal
from a Canadian security company to develop a passenger stun bracelet.

I’ve never understood why they can’t just reduce the cabin oxygen in the case of a crisis. Knock everyone out, land the plane, and dispose of the perps. Easy as cake.
That’s all great until some teen accidentally activates his cellphone to cause all the shock bracelets to go off at once. (idea from the kid playing the Nintendo gameboy that cause the autolanding mechanism not to be able to engage. Why now all electronics must be off and stowed when landing and taking off)
because everyone reacts differently to lack of oxygen, some people become more violent and less controlled when loss of oxygen occurs. What happens when they drop to much oxygen and some little old lady suffocates?
Would you like to explain to your kids that grandma died on the plane to come visit them, when some business man knocked on the cockpit door asking for an updated landing eta?
