And, for those of you that have followed my journal and that I consider friends, a side note to say that I think the asian girl just might be someone that I keep around for awhile. She is gorgeous, sweet, kind hearted, humble and truly amazing. Yeah, I’m in that stage of having fallen in infatuation, and want to see where it leads.
I know lots of people who say that they would do anything for a friend, but when it comes right down to it, they falter. This girl gave up her life long dream: something that she had trained for nearly all her life, and the chance to prove herself as the very best of the best. She did so for her best friend and because she felt it was the right thing to do, and to do otherwise would have been taking advantage of a wounded friend. And, she did so knowing that it would be her only chance to fulfill the dream and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
How many people do you know that would give up their dreams and everything they’d worked for, for a friend?
