i got this idea after staying up all night from my phero-fuelled adventures. i noticed some people (women) would either not respond to the large doses of androstenone or actually be a little more distant than i would expect even w/o the pheromones. now i’ve read on the forum about using too much (“ODing”) and this could be a mild form of it: some threshold amount is pancakes to some girl, but too much to handle for another.
another observation, pheromones that we use (for this i’m assuming the right dose w/o OD) seem to determine people’s subconscious opinions. example, Instant Shine sends a direct message to their sub-con that i’m interesting and my traits are attractive. that becomes their honest opinion about me. the next step is their conscious mind, with its many grown-up reasons, will take that simply as input, but has the ability to decide how to actually proceed with that information. their actions may quite possibly turn out to be the exact opposite, they might tell you, for example, that you look like crap, for whatever reason their conscious mind cooked up. how often do we find ourselves thinking that someone looks like crap, but giving them a compliment to make them feel better?
that action is benign, but it has its dark twin, lying about your true opinion to manipulate someone. sometimes we can suspect someone of doing that, but have no proof. well, let’s use pheromones as a tool here.
many phero’s are documented here on the forums and their expected effects are well understood. so by using one and seeing whether people act as expected or not could give a rare insight into their frontal lobe pipeline.
let’s take ammo. it’s expected that there is a lowest dose at which a woman will become attracted to the man wearing it, we can reasonably expect that her honest opinion is that you are hot. if, however, the first lowest dose reaction is an apparent turn off, then perhaps she’s just controlling her output, because in all probability she still thinks you’re hot in her mind, but will not admit to it outwards for whatever reason.
perhaps this could be used are a general test of character when you just must know if a person is genuine or a big fat lier and out to manipulate people as much as you suspect them. getting the doses right will be an art, so is choosing the best phero for the job.
if people were servers and pheromones were data packets, then this is the equivalent of performing a chosen-plaintext attack. a way to hack some computer security systems.
