Super Duper Forum Secret Revealed!

Yeah I’ve read too many esoteric books. Looking at the forum background I readily found:

2 Trinity Knots
1 Seal of Solomon
1 Harmless Triangle that may or may not be watching over the profane with it’s supreme omniscience

Took a second but I remembered.

I dont understand you all ?

Holy crap, wow. All of that out, and we didn’t even try.

Maybe we’ll have Alex Grey intentionally design a lil’ somethin’ into our new background.

It’s always amusing to create unnecessary significance out of the insignificant for personal amusement.

That’d be far out. But on a serious note, have you guys ever thought about implementing different colored forum skins? (If they already exist and I’ve yet to find them, then my work is done.)

It’s hard enough to make it one color.

We’ll probably keep this look for awhile, though, so what sort of color scheme were you thinking of?

There are few professional looking themes for this software, but if you’re looking for something that looks like Xbox, Doom or World of Warcraft, you’re wayyyyy in luck. There’s something like 1300 video game styled themes ready and rarin’ to go for vbulletin.

I had in mind the user being able to choose from some preset color schemes. These would be implemented via coding wizardry into the usercp. From there you could select them.

As for themes, well we don’t need anything too crazy. Something as simple as being able to change the current default lavender purple bits to red and burgundy, or gray and black etc.

Maybe even incorporate change of background color. A dark background color is easier on the eyes when you’re vegging out on a forum for long periods of time. Of course then the text would have to be a lighter color and that would create another host of problems.

Lastly the color schemes need silly yet relevant names like “Cobalt Bottle Blue”.

Haha and all along I just thought it was atoms and electrons on spin cycle. Yes exactly. Cobalt bottle blue and Ammunition red.
