Could someone explain the difference to me between this thanks/thanked feature and rep points? I’m a wee bit confused…

‘Thanks’ is how many times you thank people, appreciate people.

‘Thanked’ is how many times people thank you.

Seems kinda silly…like gold stars on the wall in elementary school.

I mean i feel like i grasp the concept…sort of. is it just another way of showing who was the most helpful instead of who reported on strange mixes the most?

maybe its more directed at people answering open questions, rather than posting results. I guess this makes the most sense to me.

If anyone can accurately define the two and the difference between them I’ll “thank” you for sure.

Here is my view…

If i make a post and that post was of “value” to you… meaning it helped you in some way… then you could “thank” me for it.

that being said…

Thanks - means the ammount of “thank-you’s” I gave to other people for their helpful posts

and

Thanked - means how many times someone “Thanked” me for my posts or in other words… how many helpful posts I’ve posted that had an impact on people. tho this can be skewed by multiple “Thank-you’s” from different people for the same post.

Also… you can “Thank” someone for posting their “mix results”… you can “thank” someone for giving you a bit of helpful info… You can “thank” someone for anything that helps you in any way… it’s another way of showing someone your grattitude for helping you out.

Can anybody corify what is the meaning of ‘rep power’ when the ‘reputation points’ is no longer there?

Rep is not in the name block anymore but it is still on everybodies ‘personal’ page or ‘their space’.

If my personal page is ‘my space’ then would other people’s personal page be ‘their space’?

Not as much as the girls do. Actually you and i want to be that thing. That is phallus indusiata. At the peak of it’s ripeness, the smell of that little beauty will bring most women to full orgasm. I’m going to try to grow it but it ain’t easy. Right now i just meditate on becoming phallus indusiata.
