Version B, current revision.

You wore a somewhat status-heavy mix for a fun event. You got nice results in some cases, but those ice queens might have benefited from a more social / fun /charming steering on that A314 base. Is there a reason why you went for high-status in that setting, I’m curious?

I wore a high-status mix because I needed it: I was the only single man in a sea of couples. Plus, in my primary social circle, it’s become “required” to be relationship’ed, and all my close friends are just that. Single men, by contrast, are looked down upon, it seems. Which is why I started spending more time with my newer, less-close friends, where I don’t feel inadequate for being single. People there don’t much emphasis on their relationship status.

Not to mention, I wanted to out-alpha That Guy (who once threatened me) and show Ice Queens that I’m better than they think. I’ve met all three of who I’d call “potential trouble sources” prior to the wedding, and wanted some “social insurance” against all of them. Which I got from A314. And again, I wanted to deter the well-meaning but misguided older women from fixing me up with their family members for all the wrong reasons.

In the end, I achieved what I wanted to achieve, and actually had fun while I was at it. Perhaps it’s the reason why those two non-single women wanted to help make me look good; namely, by swing dancing with me simultaneously. I got high-fives from a few men after the song. Still, I suppose the most blatant hit came from the first Uber driver: I got UberBlack service for the price of UberX.

I’m glad to hear you didn’t end up getting married too…

Good strategy.

Rock star effect while salsa dancing, with Ammo + MX297

Last night, I went to a salsa dancing party at a bar near me with my movie fan group. It was a last-minute decision to join in. I had a root canal done recently; it healed up pretty well, but I wanted something to take my mind off it. So when the group announced the salsa dancing event, I jumped at the opportunity. Especially considering that it was just a 15-minute bus ride away. These are the hits that transpired.

Before heading out, I put on the following:
Ammo: 3 sprays on face
MX297: 3 sprays on face

Self
I felt a sense of energetic peppiness in my head. Especially considering that I pounded two shots of rum before heading out to the bus stop. I was more excited about hanging out with my movie group—who are really fun people, even though I’ve never dated anyone from there—than about picking up women.

People on the bus
Demographics: diverse mix, on the older side
By the time the bus came, the rum really hit me. I stumbled onto the bus. The bus driver greeted me like he was picking me up in a limo. As I walked to my seat, other passengers looked in my direction like I was walking on a red carpet, rather than on slip-resistant rubber flooring. No other reactions to me for the rest of the ride.

Bar employees
Demographics: varied races, late 20’s
Wow! The bouncer who took my cover charge smiled and greeted me like I was someone famous. The dance instructor (female) spotted me from 20 ft away, and walked up to me to introduce herself. Bartenders were giving me lightning-fast service, even after I became pretty drunk.

Guys
Demographics: Caucasian, early 30’s
I think my social status went up a notch. Guys who previously treated me as a good acquaintance were now talking to me like a real friend. They also recommended to me which girls in the group to dance with (based on their skill level, not possibility of getting laid). I even got an invitation to a house party happening later this month, which is usually uncommon for me in this group. I generally see people only at the group events, but I think that’s going to change.

Girls
Demographics: Caucasian, late 20’s to early 30’s
The girls seemed really happy to see me, even if in a platonic context, and showed no resistance when I touch-flirted with them or pulled them in close on the dance floor. When I danced with them, they gushed compliments at me, and used self-deprecating statements about how they’re not good dancers. (In reality, they weren’t perfect, but not bad.) I think it’s due to my reputation in the group as being a good dancer, with or without pheromones.

The number close
Demographic: Hispanic, early 40’s
Most of the group bowed out after about 2 hours, and the rest retreated to a quiet bar area. I stayed on the dance floor. At one point, I asked this woman to dance. She immediately followed my lead nearly perfectly, and gave me compliments on my dancing. After talking, we sat down at the bar to drink; we made the usual “getting to know you” small talk. Throughout, she showed no resistance when I wrapped my arm around her and played with her hair. Her friend occasionally walked by to check up on her, but stayed out of our way. (I danced with the friend for one song earlier, before I started talking to this specific woman.) And finally, she seemed happy to exchange numbers. After which, in accordance with PUA teachings, I made a prompt exit, to avoid shooting myself in the foot by lingering.

Concluding thoughts
I think I found a winner! The 1:1 mix of Ammo and MX297 did wonders for me. Better than using the Instant series with Ammo, like I did in the past. I’ll definitely keep using it. While I don’t celebrate Christmas, I can totally see this mix working its magic on New Year’s Eve. Especially if in conjunction with dancing; it seems like no one _ockblocks a good dancer.

I love your last report! I will have to try that setup some day, thank you for sharing that raito!

Nice report indeed. Spraying on face, where, on the cheeks? Do you think the point of application was important on this? Do you often spray in face? Would you expect similar effects if you sprayed the same mix in the neck? You probably got a rush of self-effects by spraying close to the nose, did you? Was is regular Ammo? Wasn’t the scent overpowering so close to the nose? (lotso questions, but I’m curious )

I usually spray it on my temples or on the jaw bones, rather than the soft part of the cheeks. Why face? I kind of have to this time of year. It’s jacket weather in the Midwest right now. Oftentimes with a sweater underneath. So that leaves all the summertime body areas, like the neck or the arms, covered up. Which would eliminate the exposure and waste the pheromones. Plus, this was a dance environment that puts people into close face-to-face contact, giving me a way to flood my target with my pheromone cloud.

Nice I have not really thought to much on using the whole face, I like it!

Social Proofing at Work with MX297 + P130

This night wasn’t even supposed to happen. This past Friday, I resigned myself to having a chilled-out night at home. All my close friends already settled down, and making plans with them has become like pulling teeth. There were no events with any of my interest-based social groups, either. So after I left work, I went to the gym to fill time. Then I picked up a 40 of beer and some chicken wings, and two comedies from RedBox on the way home. By 9:00 PM, I planned to sit down in front of the TV with the beer and wings.

Then my friend (female) sends me a text:
“wanna see a cover band tonight @ 10”
“What band? Where?” (20 minutes later, to avoid seeming eager)
<gives me answers> (less than 1 minute later)
“I’m in! But not until 10:30” (this was a fib: the bar was half hour away, and I was pretty much ready, but I wanted to look all alpha and busy)
“see u!”

Before jumping in my car, I put on the following:
MX297: 2 sprays, 1 on each temple
P130: 2 sprays, 1 on each cheek

Self
Contrary, to MX297’s normal vibe, I found myself feeling quite listless on the way over. For a few moments, I almost wished I was back home, watching TV while drinking my beer. Then, when I was 5 minutes away from the bar, two things happened: (1) The street went from dark to lit up by a warm amber glow of streetlights, and (2) the song “Cheap Thrills” by Sia came on the radio. These things totally flipped a switch! I became very pumped and happy. I parked my car, and went inside to meet my friend.

Friend
Demographics: Caucasian, early 20’s
I actually met her through my movie group, and we hit it off almost instantly, although as friends. I tried to escalate before, only to hit a brick wall. (We talked it out, and all was well.) I was disappointed at first, but she adds real value to my life as a friend, so I’m happy to have her around. Especially considering that she doesn’t exhibit any friend zone behaviors, like complain to me about guys who broke her heart, or ask me for rides without reimbursing for gas. Possible reason for that is me putting up a semblance of an alpha frame around her. I know she’s single.

I saw my friend, and we hit the dance floor in front of the stage. Throughout the night, she engaged in behaviors that felt almost more than friendly. Like full-body hugs, playful slaps, raunchy banter, dancing cheek-to-cheek, etc. She’s done that before even without pheromones, although not every time we hang out. Maybe she wants more, but is holding back due to our age difference. Either way, I value the friendship enough to not want to push her away. After all, good friends, male or female, are hard to find. Plus, who knows where the friendship will go? Not necessarily turning into romance, but rather adding value to my life in the future.

Other people in the bar
Demographics: mostly Caucasian, 35 thru 60, few young people
Wow! Everybody was treating me and my “date” like we were king and queen. Other couples were giving us room to dance. Groups of older women started conversations with us. One woman complimented my friend on her blouse. Men generally left her alone. One older man tried to dance with her grinding-style; I saw him, grabbed her by the hand, and dragged her away. Honestly, since she’s not my girlfriend, I technically didn’t need to do that, but I just wanted to out-alpha him, as well as keep her safe.

The cover band, which played disco music, started passing around funny paper hats among the audience. One group of older women from earlier took two matching hats, put them on me and my date, then complimented us on how we look, and offered to take our picture. One of the performers even photobombed us when we were taking a selfie. We pretty much became the most popular couple on the dance floor—without actually being a couple.

Conclusion
For a night that wasn’t even supposed to happen, it went smashingly! I had a lot of fun, and my friend texted me next day to say thanks for coming out. I later learned that it was a spontaneous decision on her part too. In my case, I think I had two things working in my favor: (1) wearing a strong party pheromone, and (2) being there with an attractive young woman. And no one had to know the truth that she was just a friend. I’m sure she felt more comfortable with me there too.

Additional information
I noticed that streetlights play a big role in my pheromone (mis)adventures. From being mesmerized by them when heading home after a sex session, to them affecting my mood on the way over while wearing pheromones. The effect seems to be the strongest with the amber-glowing ones. I wonder why.

The floor is open for questions and comments!

Reconciliation with a friend, thanks to A314-b

First, a bit of backstory. Last month (February), me and my friend had a mild falling out. Nothing to fully destroy the friendship, but enough to go from hanging out twice a week, to periodic courtesy texts. I tried telling her I was sorry, without beta-izing myself too much, but I still felt like some damage was done. This past Sunday, however, I called her and persuaded her to meet me for a taco Tuesday, to talk things out and patch things up.

That’s when I found a empty bottle of A314, to-go spray version. I know there was something still there, but it was all dried out and caked on the inside. I must have forgotten to screw on the lid tightly when I stuck the bottle into my medicine cabinet back in 2016. So I poured about a teaspoon of rubbing alcohol into it, then shook the bottle hard, to salvage the dried-out contents.

So this is what I wore:
A314: unknown amount, smeared on forehead

Self
I could smell the A314 after putting it on, so I knew it was there. On the way over, I was on a mini-roller coaster, to be honest. My mind kept flip-flopping: from feeling sad about things not being the same, to feeling pumped about being persuasive earlier. As with many other pheromones, the glow of streetlights (it was dusk) seemed to elevate my mood a little. I got there first, texted her “here”, and waited in front of the cantina we agreed to meet at.

Friend
Demographics: Caucasian, early 20’s
This is the same friend I talked about before. She saw me on the street, and looked happy to see me. We briefly caught up, although no apologies were exchanged; it was either implied or unnecessary. We went inside and sat down at a 4-seater table of her choice (read below). We weren’t as flirty as before, but our conversation was as smooth as always. She smiled and joked a lot, with periodic eye contact, and seemed happy to hang out with me again. We ordered beers and tacos; I got fish, and she got al pastor (spicy pork).

New people
Demographics: Caucasian, late 20’s to early 30’s
About 10 minutes into the night, she told me more people are on the way. It was a couple, a man and a woman, who she knows through her job. I suspected she invited them to cut down on the awkwardness factor, but they seemed fun when I met them. I ended up talking a lot to the guy, and she ended up talking a lot to the girl, although everyone talked to everyone. The guy in particular seemed to think I was really cool: his eyes practically lit up and he high-fived me, when I started passionately trashing Windows 8. (He works in IT, like me.) Me and him exchanged LinkedIn contacts at the end. The girl looked really pleased when I told her I knew how to waltz, and overtly hinted at the four of us going to a ballroom dance studio.

Conclusion
This stuff works! It possibly kept a great friendship from fading into nonexistence. Plus, I’m sure the new people’s positive reaction to me helped rebuild my image in my friend’s eyes (a.k.a. social proofing) in an alpha way. I realize I might not be out of the woods yet, and more time might be necessary to smooth things out, but the worst seems to be over. I also met cool new people who could be job contacts, activity partners, etc. (I’ll hold off on saying “friends” until I spend enough time with them, should that happen.) This night also clinches what I read on PUA forums: it helps to be opinionated about something specific, without being angry about it. It makes you look confident.

Closing question
Based on the hits I got, how much A314 do you think there was? A lot, a little, or just right? Because everyone I interacted with that night seemed to react overwhelmingly positively to me.
