I finally got the complete series of the UF test pack so I can accurately test them and report back on my findings.

I started with MX391 with one spray on Sunday and Monday.

My normal modus operandi is to use one spray at home and gather my personal self effects first.

Sunday was a lazy day for me. Kicked back, rainy, chilly not much going on and not interested in doing much either. Even though I had been out till about 4 in the morning, I was still up around half past noon. Spring in the Mid-South means rain, rain, rain. Sunday was no different I think. Ehh this isn’t about the weather anyway. So I was up pretty early for a Sunday and had my morning smoothie. I didn’t get that great of a workout in for Friday so I decided I might hit up the gym. That never happened :slight_smile:.

After a long day of just relaxing I decided a trip to BuckyStars to work on a website was in order. So about 5 I finally took a shower and sprayed a shot of MX391 to my neck. I have to admit the scent is overpowering. I have never been a big fan of colognes and while I tolerate them, I would not be able to handle more than a spray of this stuff. However I have read reports (its tough not to read them when they’re done by great community members-I like to read what some members report) and one spray seems to be many peoples sweet spot. Even so I will attempt to give it the full testing of three to four sprays to gauge my reactions. Again its going to be a difficult task. Might just be the best stuff I have ever used, but I wouldn’t use it because of the overpowering perfume. We shall see:o

Personally I cannot say I got any real self-effects in the couple hours before I went out. I didn’t really notice much of anything, but this could have been the very real fact that the scent is so heavy I was self-conscious. Perhaps by the reactions of the guys at BuckyStars I wasn’t just imaging it. I honestly didn’t notice a thing self wise.

I arrived at 7 and wouldn’t you know it all guys at the place. It was cool as I wanted to do some work anyway. Surprisingly one of the guys asked me what I was wearing cologne wise. I told him it was a custom scent my company was testing and asked him if he liked it. Before he could answer the other Barista said it smells like you dumped the whole bottle on yourself. LOL :stuck_out_tongue:. The Barista who had asked me said yeah its kind of strong. They both agreed its not something they would normally wear.

This is actually an interesting result because I noticed that guys were emboldened to say what was on their minds. This combination with the scent might give guys an opportunity to tool on you as the cologne guy.

I sat down and drank my coffee and my God it was good. There was a girl sitting in a chair by fireplace. She was reading and while I sat facing her typing out some stuff on my macbook I didn’t notice her look up once. However at one point while I was deep into some personal work when I looked up she was gone. Hmm I didn’t even notice her get up and I didn’t even get a chance to check her out.

Sunday was a bust.

Monday 1 spray about an hour before work ended.
Again I didn’t notice much which leads me to believe I might need to add some P102 as a pinpoint focus enhancer. Perhaps I am missing effects, so while I am an advocate of testing out MX’s by themselves adding a spray of TAF or P102 is OK as long as you’ve already established a base.

Finally Mondays work day was over and I headed to BuckyStars so I can stay on target for launch day of my project. Its getting close - I’m excited! This time two girls, one guy and no customers. The one girl is the girl who told me I got her wet. The other is a very sweet girl who I have zero interest in but she obviously has a huge crush on me. I noticed I had to wait quite a while to get a coffee. The wet girl (shift mgr) told me I had to wait cause I was a regular. Guy was making foofy drink for car at the window. Finally I got my coffee and it was odd because even crush girl didn’t pay me not much attention. I mean this girl has a HUGE crush but it was like I was non-existent. Nobody mentioned the perfume this time, not even the guy barista who got my coffee who happened to be same one that made the comment Sunday.

The crush girl when she left, she walked right by me as if I was ghosted and said nothing at all. Right out the door and she always says some flirty good bye to me. The wet girl was flirting with me from behind the counter about a good 20 feet away so I know she couldn’t have been effected to much. What was interesting is at the end of the night when I went closer to say goodbye she backed off a bit. Hmm need to watch this a little closer

Again though another observation I just thought of now as I type this is that when I was at counter getting my coffee (or waiting anyway) I didn’t even observe wet girls body. This girl is very sexy. Small, petite and just a super tight body perfect for what I want to do. I believe she is married and I would NEVER do anything to break up a relationship, but I have eyes. I never miss an opportunity to check out girls. Well this time she was a foot away from me and I didn’t even look once. WTF?

Initial observations summary: Scent is overpowering. Shook the bottle on second application and seemed to disperse the scent more evenly but not something I would wear often. High potential to ghost. Self-observations are such that observations are out the window. I am completely unfocused and non-attention paying. Haven’t noticed anything, but that could be an effect itself. Need to focus more so I’m adding P102 to it next run. Perhaps tonight.

I think you will find 2-3x will work.

The next paragraph is my theory. If you don’t want to skew results with my perceptions don’t read.

I’ve gotten some blatant in your face results where high -none usage works and shines very well. While I do agree with the 1 spray can be effective, I think that once inhibitions are gone or lowered, then 2-3 works well because its so fast and hard hitting that its ridiculous sometimes. Also my theory is that the bookends are “weaker” than the middle, because of the ghosting effect that can easily come with MX393, 393, 394. We will find out in a month or so once I take the sleeves off of the MX packs. But as of now from what I can remember, those were what I experienced.

I agree with your theory about the bookends.

I am on the odd side of most testers of this pack, in that I have found that MX393 was my favorite of the group.

2 sprays got some pretty blatant hits. First time I wore it I had a girl with a boyfriend that I have known for some time get incredibly flirty with me, completely out of character.

Otherwise I have used only 1 spray and the hits were much more frequent however less obvious.

I believe so , MX391 is really tough , i have got some real hits with it but is feels complicated to be predictable .. and btw it affects the wearer more severely IMO.

I had someone say I was wearing too much cologne with PUF too, I don’t think I was using MX391 at the time though. I spray it on the back of my neck now so at least I don’t have to smell it. LOL.

Is it possible that the girl with the crush on you has given up? I know I’ve had girls in the past who will be really flirty for a while but eventually give up and even turn cold when I don’t show mutual interest. Just seems weird that you would be completely ghosted after only one spray.

Steve this is pretty much exactly what has happened with me several times… And I DO think part if not most of it is just how strong it is, mones or not there aren’t many girls that want to smell something this strong on a guy. I’ve found I can get much better attraction based hits from my own ‘on skin’ mixes. I kind of stopped testing this pack because of this but should really finish the process lol.

I don’t think she has, because whenever I go in without mones or with something lighter scented in she is all over it still

Well sounds like the same issue I had with the scent. I can’t handle it. I know it’s suppose to be the same as Ammo, but I don’t think so. Sounds like you are ghosting Steve. The question is can you use your personality to get past the ghosting.

In response to M&M I think Mx393 is the most social. This would probably be the most congruent with you based on what I have learned of your personality from here.

I honestly don’t know how I’m going to get away with wearing more than one spray of this and not stinking too much.

Last night again to B-Stars and this time there were three girl barista’s there.
Wet Girl
J-Blond
B-college

The place was pretty packed and even A (she’s my sister in God) girl was there at a table using a laptop. I had to take a seat by the furthest wall from the entrance right across from the kitchen and display case with pastries. Again looking to get some work done, BUT my mistake, I didn’t use any focus enhancers like P102 or TAF. This is a mistake with this mix because every time I have worn it I have procrastinated and ended up getting very little done. I haven’t quite figured out what’s in this mix, but there is something that is making me very easily distracted. I ended up talking with my friend Mark on the phone the whole time I was in there.

I almost feel as if it has some P78 in it, but its just not quite the same. Maybe P91, which on its own seems more like TAH, however if paired with certain other molecules it becomes goo goo gah spacey.

Well the girls all were there and got my grande black coffee with a couple cubes of ice. J-Blond stayed at the end of the counter, furthest away from me and made t a point to tell me about her husband again. She does this often and yet she does it as if letting me know she’s not available, when I’m not doing anything to indicate I’m interested. Don’t get me wrong she is pretty, but she has let me know she has a husband more than enough. Perhaps my flirting with everyone has her defensive and insecure with her own self.

B-College and me almost had a three way with another barista quite a while ago. She used to work there a while ago and she has a tight body. She is definitely pretty hot, but we just don’t click right. She was the perfect subject because she hadn’t been around much, but her baseline to mones has long been established. She was the one who was serving me and I figured she would at least show some interest. It just didn’t happen. It was actually a reversal of what I thought and she kinda was stand-offish. Again this is a girl I could of had in a three way with another blond barista from a while back who I was enjoying the splendors of. B-College wanted it badly, and every time I have seen her since, at least a few times over the last couple weeks, she has been very flirtatious. It might have had something to do with the moon for all I know, but it was like I was dead to her last night. Odd.

On the other hand P-Wet was her regular flirtatious self, but noticeably ONLY when she was distanced. The closer she got and the longer she stayed the more detached she became. In effect the further she got from the signature, the more she flirted. It was almost as if the counter offered protective space.

I’m not sure about this mix yet but here’s my summation of last night: The further away the better the hits. Seems very distracted. The scent of the cover is outrageous and too strong.

Tonight, if I go out, I’ll use two sprays.

Oh yeah A-she’s my sister in God, came over at the end and we talked about her near death experience after a routine surgery. She’s been absent for a while. Sweet girl but I’m not interested. What I did notice is that there was some distance between her and me when we talked. It was like she wouldn’t enter my space.

LOL, she even asked me if I am still working with fragrances! I was like yeah, why do I smell. She said like a french whore. We both laughed, but then she got this serious look on her face, and was like I mean it Steve O. I guess the joke was on me. Her opinion, unsolicited, was its a nice scent reminds me of soap, but too much. I told her I was only wearing one spray. She said that it reminded her of those incense fragrance oils. “They smell nice in the store but I wouldn’t wear them.”

Maybe the distance I am noticing being created is because the scent is pushing people away. Perhaps they are torn between the signature which is saying I want this guy to ride me till the sun comes up, but jeez does he have to wear so much cologne!

Yea i think the fragrance concentration is turned up really high. You seem to be getting a decent push pull effect, more push then anything though. This along with the disassociation and inability to notice hot bodies reminds me of something I was testing a few weeks ago. I can’t find it in my journal though. Dang it. I need to make sure I post every test day. I’ve been slacking.

I’m not testing UF at the moment, I’m back on the old, unbeatable Ammo. Whenever I return to using Ammo after a brief hiatus I always wonder how I could possibly be tempted away from it. The ‘grass is greener’ effect I guess. But - to use another cliche - ‘ahh home sweet home’; truer words have never been spoken. Having said that Project UF - MX391 in particular - can give Ammo a good run for it’s money. I too find the smell very strong; yet of all the pheromone mixes I’ve ever worn MX391 has delivered me the most amount of ‘you smell nice’ compliments. Maybe that’s because everyone in the UK wears a crazy amount of cologne, or ‘aftershave’ as we call it, so it’s no big deal.

Yeah in the US cologne wouldn’t be so bad in cities like NY and LA. In the south, Memphis is more of a sleepy farm town and not many people where cologne. I honestly don’t recall smelling cologne whenever I have gone out. People just don’t do it down here, or very little if at all.

I haven’t had any of the hits that I recall reading about yet, but we shall see. My testing is still pretty young. I’m not saying anything about the mix yet, just keep getting comments about the cover.

Well I used two sprays tonight and there was a new set of baristas at B-Stars. 2 girls and one guy. I honestly cannot tell if MX391 is working for me or not. The two girls said they liked my cologne, but then when they got closer, they mentioned it was too strong. Here it is over 4 hours later and I had to wash it off before bed :frowning:. Its kind of funny because no one has EVER commented on my cologne except Game to tell me they loved it. Not getting compliments like with game this go around, as much as I am getting told its to much.

I really didn’t notice anything as far as hits though. Tomorrow I’m going to the jiggly wiggly for a friends birthday. Might be my best shot to wear a few sprays, because of the “natural” rankiness of the place. I’m not a fan of these types of places. I just don’t like them, but three sprays might just work out OK there.

Tonight though seemed like a bust. I wasn’t really interested in any of the girls, but even so when I wear mones girls tend to flirt back with me. It just didn’t happen tonight. I am typically gregarious wherever I go, and people are always chatting with me, but usually there are some hits. Just not getting it with MX391. I wonder if there is anyone else on the forum who feels the same way with this one. From everything I read it seems to be the best thing going. Time will tell, although this is not something that could ever be worn to a bar or club in Memphis. Again people just do not wear that much cologne around here so it would stand out way to much. I think my best shot of wearing these is going to be coming from the jiggly wiggly or outside venues.

Yea I tend to stick to one spray myself and I live in areas where cologne is used more frequently. Anything more and it’s too much even for me. shrugs I’d say aim for a bar/club just to see. You never know, someone might respond well to it.

Does anyone know if the scent package changed in this batch, cause it seems too strong for me, too!?

With ONE spray, I went into a store where I’m known by all the cashiers, and got, “COME IN HERE SMELLING GOOD WITH ALL THAT COLOGNE ON!” from one of the UNATTRACTIVE ones.

Yea, true, especially for Steve since he’s in a warmer climate.

Um, I don’t think it’s changed, but it’s always been pretty potent.
