i was thinking.. you know the essential oil vaporisers where you put a bunch of drops of oils into water and the gizmo vaporises it into the room. why not pour some pheromones in? it could be a great way to diffuse them..
or would the water damage the pheromones?
Some say that TUTH sprayed on a vaporizer work really well, but those vaporizers work solely with oil and not use any water. I havent tried though if it is true…
interesting thank you
Its viable for socials as it does help improve the general mood IME.
Sexuals less-so, unless you work very hard to project a sexual attitude, the subject has nothing to key their response towards - which can backfire by making them uncomfortable/distracted in the wrong kind of ways.
Its also pretty wasteful as the heat carries-off the pheros very fast, so you will need to be constantly replenishing the diffuser/atomiser - wearing them will be far more efficent.
I think a social 'mone would be great for a party/social gathering. A little IS in the air to give everyone an upbeat feel.. Or is that unethical?

I imagine that using a vaporizer might also be counter-productive in the sense that the pheromones would be strictly ambient, and not attributed as originating from a specific individual.
i’ve effectively applied pheromones to walls in the past to good effect, but like mobo said didn’t always work as they may not associate it directly with you. I’ve put enone on doors and walls before and the effect lasted for days… these room vaporisers where you put oil into the water are not wasteful at all, in fact very efficient just wondering what effect putting them in water would have to their structure/effects etc..
Alcohol-based pheromones should dissolve easily in a larger water volume. Oil-based (like a314) might work too although they won’t disperse in the water as well, but then, neither would many essential oils.
Guess you just have to try your specific pheromone product with a specific vaporizer.
Oils disperse very well in EO vaporizers. They are ultrasonic and break up the oil and gets carried out on the water vapor.
I’ve got one of these on order. I’ve used the terra cotta ones before and they work best with the lighter oils. The heavier ones like vertiver tend to clog it.
I’ve also tried alcohol-based pheromones and the commenters are right that it difficult for targets to associate the effects. However, put it over your bed and when you finally get a target there it can help set the mood.
Bedroom huh…interesting…mines in my office! ![]()
This actually might be a situation where mixing your consumer spray into oil wold help matters.
Alcohol-base diffuses too fast and even oils at normal concentrations will diffuse/impact more forcefully but the lower concentration of a spray into oil might suit vaporisers much better?
I just sprayed a whole bunch of IS on the walls of my apartment right before handing in the keys. I am under the impression that the inspector was going to be visit visiting the place within the next few hours. I remember reading about a couple who sprayed a bunch of IS around their house just before a viewing when they were trying to sell it, and the very first visitors bought it! I’m hoping that same method gets me my entire security deposit back!
