I believe that there are psychological barriers for many people that prevent them from seriously considering that their behaviors may be influenced by molecules they breathe in.
I think that is true for PhD. researchers also.

WOW I MISSED SOMETHING! All I saw was the quote of the imginary lawyer. And I have to say I agree with him. If you wear a pheromone that were to say make someone “act drunk;” well the pheromone doesn’t change his morals and the fact that he would do it even if “drunk” still means he did it. There are people who talk to, kiss, or have sex with anyone who looks attractive when they’re drunk, but ONLY when they’re drunk, and they otherwise wont unless they’re dating the person or (in the case of talking) actually like the person to some degree. There are people that will be obnoxious when they’re drunk, but not do any of the things I just mentioned. And there are people who will not really do anything different except maybe fall over a bit more, when they’re drunk. If you kill somebody on purpose or buy a hooker when you’re drunk, you don’t get off the hook because of it. And people who really, truly, with every fiber of their being believe that those are immoral things to do in all cases, would never do it even if they were drunk.
Any effect a pheromone has on someone can be similarly compared. It may make you feel agitated or more comfortable or hornier, but that doesn’t mean you have to act on those feelings, and you won’t if you believe the act you would take is wrong.
The free will witch stays intact is verry important in court.Example: if someone hates you because you killed his cat intentionally no pheromones will make this person to like you more.some pheromones can make him to see you not as cat killer but as lovely guy but he’ll be still hating you for killing the cat.Another strong argument in court is that pheromones have self effects too so u do not intentionaly put others in another mood but even yourself.
And one more , drugs are illegal now and alot of people use then. But they 're destructive to human body while mones aren’t witch make more people willing to buy and use thise helpful things and therefore even if they make them illegal witch I doubt there still will be many places to buy from(even policemans will buy them believe me).I think that making mones illegal is verry stupid and will make verry strong mafia in society, far more strong than drug one becose banning something is the best commercial and who doesn’t want to experience the effects of the mones and to make one’s life better. So I think they will be legal. One more thing that makes me thinks this is that wearing sex appeal boosting pheros everyday and literary having women wet downside didn’t make some women who didn’t want to sleep with me to actually do it.BUT the mones deffinately made me be percived as more sexy guy and this worked verry well for my reputation.Just a strong impact makeup and nothing else. And one more thing. If u intentionally slip something in someone’s glass that makes himher bee horny for instance is illegal because it’s intentionaly and u and the others exept the person who drank the glass are uneffected.but
Excellent point! That is the exact point I have made for years on why drugs should be de-criminalized in America. Most people start using drugs during their teens, when they tend to be in the rebellious stage, and the quickest way to make a kid do something you don’t want them to, is to tell them that they can’t!
American drug laws are obsolete, they are clogging up the courts and prisons, and are in need of serious reformation!
We proved that making something illegal that people want and will seek out does not work in the 1930’s with alcohol Prohibition. It’s actually a better comparison than most of you may think if you really stop to consider it: When alcohol was banned people manufactured it illegally, and with no controls many bad batches were sold to unsuspecting consumers, and many people died because of it. Look at what’s happening with drugs: Most users who end up dying from an overdose are NOT first time users, but those who have been using for awhile and got a batch that had been “stepped on” a lot less than what they are used to taking.
Consider this: Pharmaceutical cocaine, which is over 97% pure had a value of approximately $2.00 per gram when it was sold legally. But now that it is illegal the “street” value has skyrocketed probably 50 to 100 times of what the actual value should be is out of reach for most users. As a legal substance, an addict could work at McDonald’s and support their habit, but as an illegal drug many addicts have to result to stealing to support their habit, and thus to gain access to $2.00 or $3,00 worth of pharmaceutical quality drugs, which they probably cannot get anyway, they now have to result to thievery and have to steal probably $1,000 worth of stuff that they can then pawn for $100, to get something that’s really only worth $2.00 or $3.00. So in essence, criminalizing cocaine is costing the average american 10 times more than what it would if it were a legal substance!
On another note, locking people up and trying to reform them does not work! Our current recidivism rate for criminals incarcerated for drugs is over 98% What we’re doing is NOT working. When will our idiot lawmakers start enacting laws to actually protect and benefit their constituents, instead of scaring the shit out of people to get votes?
Are our lawmakers that stupid to believe that with our current policies we will ever win the “war against drugs?”
By the way, for anybody that’s thinking that I’m just trying to justify my own drug usage, I do not use ANY illegal substances. I did try several many years ago, but I like being in complete control of my faculties. So no, I am not saying any of this for the reasons of personal benefit. I just believe that it’s time our judicial system and politicians actually started working for our benefit, instead of their own self-serving bullshit! I absolutely loved Reagen, but his “War on Drugs” policy has been a dismal failure, and it’s time for a change!!!
Well, IMHO, the pheromone technology won’t improve or ‘grow’ if we keep it a secret. Even a deadly secret weapon has to be tested ‘openly’ to see its efficiency from time to time. The more usage of pheromone, the more results and accuracy can be seen and further more it will help to improve things in our daily lives and benefit mankind.![]()
“Knowledge which is concealed is lost” - Prophet Mohammad (570 - 632 AD)
Mark, that was totally brilliant, and just so you know I am robbing you of your argument the next time I have a discussion about this.
Hey Laurie, have I told you lately that I love you? ![]()
You are more than welcome to steal my argument. A government that cannot change with the times is doomed to failure, and whether we are willing to admit it or not, we are rapidly approaching that point.
The only thing that sets us apart from ALL previous superpowers are nuclear weapons, but there are at least 7 nations now capable of nuclear attack. History shows that nations rise to power and remain dominant for apporoximitely 200 years, then fall. We are now at the 200 year mark. Are we to follow ALL previous history, or write a new chapter?
Our politicians are supposed to have our best interests in mind, but once elected, almost all get on a power trip and only care about themselves. Political positions should cary NO salary, and should require that politicians not to able to benefit now or in the future from their political position. Then and only then would we have politicians that truly had only our best intererests at heart.
Well Mark, I certainly do not want to ‘interfere’ with American internal affairs but I just wanna say that I do agree with your views, but I wonder in this day that we’re living how could one find again such a politician that you describe. Reading your post, it reminds me of Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln.![]()
Anyway Mark, it is not you alone love LaurieNY…the forum loves her, and so do I!![]()
Awww, stop you guys. blush
Well I do. If I thought I could get enough followers, I’d get rid of our all three branches of our government and chage the name to The United States Of Mark! ![]()
And once I get the right phero combo the landscape of this country will be a lot different. Oops maybe I’ve said to much about my domination plan and I’ll end up having Jasmin cut me off. ![]()
Cassanova, a mafia is a specific organization not another word for “criminal” in English. Just letting you know
.
I am not so sure about this one, people who do things “just because they know they’re not supposed to” are a LOT more rare then most people over the age of 30 or so tend to think. However someone might do something they were SPECIFICALLY told not to do if they are mad at someone, in the case of illegal drugs that doesn’t really apply unless a teenager is askled to buy drugs and before he says anything, his mom says, “No don’t do it,” and THEN he says okay even though he would have said no beforehand.
I think making drugs legal will make them less popular mainly because they will be accessible. Most small children like to stay up late at night however if you do not give your children a bedtime, they will go to bed when they are tired and not see any particular joy in staying up late at night, which is why my son will not have a bedtime (my cousins were raised this way and the last time I was at their house overnight my 7-year-old cousin announced she was going to bed around 8:30).
I would not, however, supposrt legalizing crack because it does make people rob places and even rape people (I have seen this happen and others agree with me), but marijuna, LSD, etc., do not have those results even while they are illegal (at least not for people who wouldn’t also steal to get pop or a video game). But that is another issue.
In that case why you using pheromones? They can affect you too though not in the same way as drugs.
Not really, the people who ran for office would still want their own idea in effect rather then ours in most cases, humanity is a selfish race. Most people would go with the general populace’s ideas rather then their own in given the choice about an issue they’re passionate about (Rainbow kids) won’t run for office anyway because the system is too corrupt.
Pheromones are not a drug, they are made from the hormones in our bodies and released in bodily secretions like urine or sweat causing certain signals to those exposed to them.
Those made and sold by companies are synthetic. they are molocules made to mimic this effect. They are classified as cosmetic and are in no way illegal. When wearing them you are still in complete control of your free will as opposed to when your taking drugs which can impair that.

Funny, you tell me I’m wrong in the first paragraph, then in effect agree completely with me in the next (text bolded in 1st and 2nd paragraphs).
You can choose to agree or disagree, but most drug users do start using in their teens, and the most obvious reason for doing so is because they know that they aren’t supposed to and to rebel. This is the same reason that small children want to stay up late.
Everyone of us that are now over 30 were once teenagers too, and if you believe that the teen culture has improved and become more respectful of authority since we were teens, you are sadly mistaken.
Crack Cocaine does not make people rob or steal. It’s the cost of supporting their addiction that makes them steal! If Cocaine were legalized almost anybody with a job could afford it, and Crack would probably disappear. Crack Cocaine emerged as a cheap alternative to Cocaine to provide a similar but shorter lasting high. Free basing Cocaine is supposed to provide the same effect as smoking crack.
Humanity is selfish and greedy, but most poor political decisions are borne of greed. If you take away the ability for politicians to profit, you remove the greed factor and much of the selfishness. After all, how many politicians would even run for office if they knew that they weren’t going to leave office as millionaires and set for life? And, how many have a personal interest the the vast majority of bills and legislation that comes before them. The votes follow the money coming from Lobbiest Groups, campaign contributions, congressional back-scratching, and the likes.
Bosshank,
Is this the article you’re thinking of? She was found not guilty, and this was in 1880 (see bottom of article)! So they’re not making a lot of progress!
