What works: GENERAL DATING (basic interpersonal relations)

Back to dating… I went on a date tonight. First date. I was wearing 2 sprays IFM (one spray along the bottom of each forearm), 2 sprays CTTM2 (one spray along the top of each forearm), 2 drops A314 (one spread between the backs of my hands and one in my beard), and 1 spray Liquid Trust (between my wrists).

This girl is very, very sensitive and shy. I had talked to her on the phone once and IMed with her, so I had an idea what to expect, but we had never met in person before.

She started out shy and quiet, while we were waiting for the store she works at to close. I arrived a little before it closed so she could decide if she wanted to go somewhere alone with me before the store closed.

We spoke for a little longer, and when she was done with her shift, I asked if she was comfortable going out alone with me the first time we’d met. I wanted to make sure she was comfortable, because she is so shy and sensitive. Better to nip that in the bud and wait, than to have a bad date and kill my chances for the future.

But she was comfortable, so we left. I let her drive, again as a means of giving her some control because I wanted her to be comfortable the first time we met, and within a few minutes in the car she was really opening up. She was still nervous and shy, but she was talking and the long silences were rare.

We ended up at the beach, and it was amazingly quiet… very still air, and virtually no surf at all. Perfect for pheromones outdoors. We had a conversation of over an hour in length. She really opened up to be able to do that - the girl is shy! I was impressed.

I was so careful to make sure she was comfortable because not only am I a guy she’s never met, but she’s really sensitive and shy, and she was agreeing to go to a place where we would be alone. Between my efforts and the pheros, she was making comments that she couldn’t believe she was making. The CTTM2 was really hitting her, and maybe even the LT - I haven’t tested it enough to know what signature results it gives by itself very well - but several times she blurted out things that made her turn several shades of red and hide her face. Fortunately, I was able to keep her laughing through all this, so it was much easier for her to handle.

All in all, a really fun date. I wasn’t expecting anything, and we didn’t do anything but talk and laugh, but it was probably the most fun first date I have ever had. I told her on the way back to my car that I had a lot of fun, and I suggested that I was glad to do it again. To my pleasure and surprise, she asked me (remember, super shy girl, now!) if I’d like to get together again on her day off. I don’t know if the Liquid Trust did anything, but I like the results of the rest of the mix.

I think for our next date I’m going to focus more on CTTM2 to get her to talk more and be more comfortable. Maybe up it to 3 or even 4 sprays. I like this mix for dates.

So tell me, was there any chance the girl you went out with was sensitive and shy?:smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley:

Seriously, good job.

 I was excited, sue me.

Anyway, it appears I made a mistake in using the IFM that I should point out. I didn’t cover it, and both a female friend and my date apparently thought I smelled “funky”. I couldn’t smell it, but it almost cost me a second date. Any suggestions for covering it? And, does it have to have the Clary Sage oil? I’m presuming that’s what makes it smell that way.

Hey I thought that was to make it smell better and relax the gals. How could it make them detest it instead?
I never had such comments and don’t think it’ll cost you
a 2nd date man.:open_mouth:
Hmm..perhaps I usually cover them or use them together with some Ammunition and IS(eo)..
Its a perfectly flawless combo!

I haven’t had any comments about the IFM scent (and I can tell it’s there and is probably Clary Sage). I think MHarris said that there are slight variations from batch to batch and maybe little or no scent in some of them.

If in doubt probably just cover all of it with something else (cologne).

MHarris tells me it’s not Clary, but androstedienone. I wasn’t sure what was in Ammunition, so I didn’t want to risk weaing that because I didn’t know if it was an aggressive mone. but I guess I’ll just cover it with Eternity in the future, since I don’t have any other cologne. I still don’t know how you’d go about doing the 5 sprays of IFM MHarris mentioned without potentially ODing on cover scent. lol

I have to agree. I’m not a big fan of the IFM clary sage smell. I would think it would be better if in some of the products like IFM or TUTH or anything else that uses that smell if he replaced it with Neroli scent. Other than that a good product. Another idea would be to offer an option for a few different cover scents when buying the product.

I was thinking along the same lines… MHarris, I suggest you add some sort of scent to IFM, something along the lines of neroli or Ammo. Although, personally, I an not a big fan of the scent of Ammunition, though it does not smell bad to me. The assistant loves that scent. If you could do something like the scent of Pherlure, I bet you’d get a very good response. Honestly, I think the best bet overall would be something like neroli though, if you could get it to cover the smell.

I am looking forward to further testing IFM.

All I can say is that the IFM I got has a Clary Sage scent to it. Discovered that when I went and sniffed some EO samples at an area health food store. Unmistakable.

From what I have gleaned elsewhere on the fourm, some IFM has the Clary scent at a noticable level, other batches don’t. My aromatherapy references list Clary Sage as being “good for the female system,” and “relaxing,” so it fits right in with what IFM (“debugged A-1”) is supposed to be aimed at, and possibly contributes to the “debugged” part by accentuating the affects of A-1. Just a thought.

Personally no one I have encountered has commented negatively about the scent as yet, and I find it okay. Plus it’s more important to me to have the women like it more than me…

I find it fascinating that I can smell it as an unusual scent, but that these two women were responding with “funky”.

Apparently, because of laws and such, IFM won’t have any scents added to it beyond the herbal components it already has… so cover scent it is. IFM has been very confusing for me so far.

That, Signor Rbt, is what I THINK so many are not stepping outside the box and UNDERSTANDING.

OUTSTANDING note-keeping advice! Write that done everyone. Testing material!! :open_mouth:

That’s why I stopped trying to find colognes that I like and started looking for what the ladies like. Ammunition, for instance, I can take or leave the scent of. I wouldn’t pick it out for myself. But the ladies seem to like it.

“It’s Him” hands down.

It has the same EOs as TUTH.

twas actually the first time i had a girl sniff and kiss my neck–she asked me what i had on…

i lied and told her it was something i snagged while i was in brazil hahaha

So have you ever released the formula for “It’s Him”? Let’s see it!

Yeah I would like to know what exactly is in ‘‘Its Him’’ too!

I’m sure we shall know eventually. In the mean time, it will be fun to try to figure it out through experimentation.

Yes it’s very important that women/or your target group like your scent
I wanted to expand a bit on that comment, if you’re not interested then disregard I just like sharing knowledge.

I extract/design/create my own fragrances, I am also somewhat of a fragrance connoiseur…ladies always rave about how good I smell and I’ve never had someone say I smelt bad.

I am lucky to be born with, or have trained up a very sensitive nose. One thing I’ve learned is to never buy a scent without testing it thoroughly for a day-if you have time, spray the tester bottles on yourself (just your wrists/forearm, don’t test near your face it will saturate your senses as you want to check back on the smell later), ask your shopping partner (girl or guy) if it smells good on you, and ask them an hour later as the alcohol evaporates and your body chemistry changes it around.

I used to make the mistake of buying whatever I thought smelled good on me straight out of the bottle, which was accurate most the time but I’ve bought a few colognes that I’ve thrown away or given away because they changed so drastically on me over time to the point they made me feel sick…:o especially overly-sweet smelling colognes that are hidden by the first blast of top notes and alcohol, but then surface, something about them turns my stomach

Most women have a good sense of smell, more so than men I think-get a number of girls opinions on how you smell they will know if it matches you or not. Attuned, most gay or fashion savvy guys can also be just as helpful

Some of us that are extremely lucky or trained a bit, are attuned to smells enough that what we think smells good on us others think so too. My friends always have me help or sometimes just plain buy cologne for them.

But yes, the whole point of cologne is what others think of you, just like these crazy pheremones in a whole nother way

I have had some luck with big doses of pheros ony my undershirt and then covering it with another shirt. It makes the pheros last longer and helps curtail the woosh of chemical signals you give off when you walk into the room.

A314… Mine just arrived today and I will be testing it next day. Does the A314 reach far distances for others to notice? I read that some people here put drops on their hands, but most of the day I’m walking and my arms are down.

Should it be applied like a spray (works best around the neck area) or anywhere on bare skin will do just fine?

Thanks

When I’ve used a314 I’ve applied a drop to the wrist then wiped along neck/upper chest (then a second drop to other wrist and along opposite side of neck/chest). Gets both areas and spreads it around. I have been given to understand that oil-based pheromone products like a314 need to be spread around a bit more to aid diffusion.
