On Saturday afternoons and evenings, when you are shopping at the mall for clothes, I’m there shopping for you. You’ll know who I am by the way I look at you.
At that point, all you have to do is smile.
Boss is right… and I found a great resource: meetup.com. I think it used to be a political-based organizing tool, but it’s grown into an awesome way to meet like-minded people in all interest categories.
I belong to a few in my area, to include a motorcycle club (plenty of guys there!), a Sunday movie matinee club, and a singles group that is VERY active. You can also try Yahoo groups for the same sorts of clubs.
On the downside, if you live in BFE, you’re not gonna have much luck with this strategy.
I also found plentyoffish.com (a free dating site, that offers singles events based on your general area.)

Gym, ppl who can afford gym memberships are at least not low class, especially ppl who have the determination to go often.
gym is good too… its a bit different for me finding women (first its finding women 
) and i just finished HS so young people my age r everywhere nd i do lots of things with fellow class mates.

Definately library, parks, coffee shops, artistic clubs, book club, hmm what else… summer school (like courses). I’m a college student and I prefer intellectual guys aka hot nerds 
lol and many of them are really serious when it comes to relationships and I find that attractive lol!
I do community service (maybe it’s not something you want to do, but imo it’s healthy for your soul lol!), and I’ve met some of the best guys here too! Blood donation centers, volunteering kids with disabilities, and camps (not the kind, where everybody is in their trunks and bikini near a pool lol in a cabin house lol, certainly is fun though. The kind, where people go to 3rd world countries to help the poor)- I did that once, and I saw the best men out there (but this is my opinion). Emotionally and physically strong, talented, compassionate, good-looking (imo!) and really down to earth. Too bad, they were like 7-10 years older than me, but wow! guys who want to make a difference in the world just makes my head spin with hearts lol. Don’t miss those ones out lol!
I know…there’s a 30 year old women inside this 19 year old girl lol!
Yea being in my mid/late twenties, I def. do many different things…but most constant are my volunteer groups and professional networking groups.
I’m lucky to live close to a city where there is always something of interest going on. I just went to a book club and that was def. a good place for us guys to meet many women (rare for guys nowadays to be book savvy) In reverse I’d say go to events guys would be into, I myself hike alot and the ratio of guys to women is always 3:1 so that’s a good place. Also, not sure if you’re religious, but i find some great people at my catholic youth group (good mix of girls and guys here) they have quite a few events not related to church. I strongly recommend you try meetup.com for a good start.
I think i read somewhere most people find their partners/spouses at Family/Freind events, Workplace, and through school then comes hobbies/clubs etc…
Not so sure parks are a good idea…sounds like they’re full of perverts. 
Even dog parks? lol
There are different kinds of parks in different kinds of places sweetie. lol 
My dog has been known to be a perv. (He’s a boy, after all!)

Grr stupid banks not giving me relief from student loans so that I could spend a year in Africa with Engineers without Borders… I’ve had a couple friends go for 4-8 months and I’ve heard its an unbelievable experience.
I think all Dogs are pervs at heart (we’re talking about the shaggy kind right?)
That’s why we love 'em! They’re our alter egos.
This, however, is a might disturbing. (Notice they’re lubricated *and *meat scented.)
I always found it weird how dogs sat there and stared when you were making out on the couch, then when you take a breather, they are right there in your fact trying to kiss with to much tongue.
with a GF our family basset was watching us get hot and sweaty, then she came bouncing over afterward and started trying to roughhouse and lick both of us. I never could tell if the claw marks were my GF’s or the dog’s.
