Would these bottles work for mixes?

They look identical to the bottles AD sells but are 60 ml in size. The only thing I wonder is if the spray size would be affected. I ask because I’m considering doing some mixes and might want larger sized bottles but I’m unsure if the sprayer would produce the same size doses.

To be precise you’d have to measure out 60ml’s and if 400 sprays come out of it, you can pretty much dose it like AD’s bottles. If not, just take the total pheromone content and divide it by sprays, and you’ll get the mcg/spray.

If you’re using pipettes, the easier way to do it would be to fill out 15ML’s and if 100 sprays come out to use the entire water content, then you have sprays roughly equivalent to AD’s

The sprayers look extremely identical to the stuff we have here at AD, so I’d think that they’d have around the same output although I could be wrong. Still, it can’t hurt to try it out. But since the bottle is bigger this will mean you’ll need more ingredients to fill the thing up so money could become an issue as well.

Well the money thing isn’t so much of an issue as just knowing that a spray from that bottle would be the same size as a spray from the 30 ml bottles here. I hadn’t considered the possibility of adding other buffer ingredients to compensate for larger sprays, that’s a good idea. I suppose I could also take the hose from the larger bottle (so it reaches all the way to the bottom) and swap it with the nozzle from an AD bottle to get the same mist size.
