Below are some posts summarising the problems with wearing anything but minimal doses A314 around peers in the younger (well lets say under 30) age groups. I am not saying that A314 shouldn’t be used by ‘younger guys’ - on the contrary it is a marvellous product in professional settings especially when communicating with ‘higher-end’ people and older people in general. Indeed 1 drop of A314 may add a little DHV signal to a mix. But IMHO it may not be such a good product to wear socially around a group of younger friends for example…

“For the afformentioned mix, I usually apply 3 drops of A314 (A314 Classic Edition – Trust & Respect Pheromone for Men - Alpha A314) oil (when I still had that), 4 sprays shine, 4 sprays honesty.
But using that mix 5 days a week at work got rather costly after awhile, so I only use it when I’m meeting with clients, or will be socializing with a lot of professionals…luncheons and what-not. On days when I’ll be cramped up in my cubicle all day, I usually stick with A314 by itself and it works well enough. I get the much needed added respect around the office…much needed because I’m the youngest person in the office, while also lacking the degrees, designations, licenses, and experiencethat everyone else in the office has. I’ll be graduating with a degree in Finance in May, so a lot of that will come soon enough, but I honestly still feel a little overwhelmed trying to learn everything. From what I can tell about the effects of A314 in the office though, it seems that I appear more competent than I really am. Not to diss myself, but I’m very much in a learning stage…and given how heavily regulated the financial services industry is…I’ve got quite a lot to learn. I don’t have a problem with people viewing me as too young and inexperienced at all, rather they seem impressed that at my age I know so much, or that I’m doing what I’m doing. I don’t know how much of that to attribute to A314 without discrediting everything that I actually have done, but I’m sure A314 has a lot to do with that.
I like to add IS to the mix because of the sort of vibrance it contributes. It keeps things from being strictly serious in nature, and a little more inviting…I like my professional persona to be more upbeat and charismatic, but also in control, and professionally competent. I would add Instant Openness to the mix, but it can be excessively light-hearted for me. I tend to joke around a lot while wearing Alpha Androstenol, and while I like the effect it has a lot when I’m more casual and laid-back, it doesn’t translate as well in professional settings. At my age, I really have to keep my professional persona, and my casual persona separate.
I’ve paired A314 and Instant Honesty together a number of times in the past, mostly because I burn through IS bottles much more quickly than I will Instant Honesty and had no choice but to leave it out. I haven’t had any problems with appearing too old or intense while wearing it as a business mix…appearing ‘older’ only seems to work in my benefit. Instant Honesty seems to complement the effects of A314 very well, as it also has a trust building element to it. People also seem to grow comfortable around me very quickly while wearing Instant Honesty, which opens them up to the effects of A314 more quickly and promenently

when it comes to using pheromones in professional settings in general, I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with appearing too old. This only really tends to occur if I wear a highly serious and ‘older’ type mix in casual settings. Again I try to keep my professional and casual persona’s separate, and the mixes I use are reflective of these two ‘modes’ of mine. It might be a congruency issue, but when I wear something as overbearingly serious as A314 in a more casual setting, it can put me out of the loop, and its not cool. For this reason I tend to refrain from using A314 outside of professional settings, unless off-set with a high dose of Instant Openness.**”

“btw. IMHO, I dont think A314 (A314 Classic Edition – Trust & Respect Pheromone for Men - Alpha A314) is for younger folks. its much more of a professional product. that is the only reason I even got it–it took me awhile to figure out I couldnt wear it around peers my age.
usually i use it when im teaching a class of peers that are 30+.
i look like im 22, so i sort of use it to command respect- “i am here to teach you, no i am not your son’s friend””

Now I know it has its uses for me, but for everyday wear I’m not going to be applying more than 1 drop anymore (especially since mutant is about 1.33 times as strong as regular A314 ) With only one drop I haven’t noticed any obvious effects, but that’s a good thing, because the effects I have noticed would not be good for social relations among my peers. So at one drop I believe my interactions are effected positively on a very subtle level. I feel like my peers take me more seriously, but not TOO seriously.
Now obviously its unfair to say that no one around our age should be using A314. In fact, I think it’s perfect for anyone interviewing or beginning at a job that’s perceived as higher-status or in an environment where most people are older, such as a young lawyer starting out at a big law firm. I could see A314 helping someone to move up the hierarchal ranks ahead of their time. I think it would be even especially useful for women trying to be taken seriously in a predominantly male setting.”*
