i am becoming to realize how its one of the strongest products here, and I want to use it daily..however, knowing how it affects the head and sometimes too much of it makes me tired, i wonder..does it get addictive? do you feel sad when you don’t wear it? those who’ve been using it for more than 3 months please answer ![]()
I don’t feel sad after not using it. If anything the self-effects decrease with regular use.
However, while this is something that you’ll probably discover on your first couple experiences with Instant Shine, it has made at least one person very depressed afterwards.
Technically it’s impossible to be addicted to pheromones. They are not drugs and have no physical withdrawal or other side effects. Otherwise you’d have problems after taking a shower. Perhaps you have developed a psychological dependance on using something you think makes you feel good, sorta like always wearing your favorite color, comfort eating, etc.
I used pheromones too long and have developed a tolerance to any obvious self effects. If I wasn’t around people, I’d never know they did jack squat. Also we don’t want to encourage the FDA to regulate with posts like this…
Gegogi is correct, I hear he is sexy to but thats besides the point
Ohhhh alright… I will stop harrassing. ![]()
You cant get addicted to them and you wont feel down if you stop using them. I wont say you wont miss them if suddenly you couldnt have mones anymore. Its like Gegogi descibed, sort of like missing your favorite shirt or a favorite activity you cant do anymore.

humm, haven’t had that effect from a phero.
based on your report I am guessing it is like me leaving my Leatherman some where, you wish you had it. yet I could use another pair of pliers or knife, but I feel like I am missing my right arm sometimes.
Like a kid leaving a favorite toy or blanket somewhere, they will not die, but they really misses it.
I have a similar feeling when I leave for the day not wearing my Pheromones, but I survive, I did before and will after I quit, If I ever quit.
What Tish and the sexxay Gegogi said.
After having used these products for a couple years know either the self-effects have mostly worn off or the self-effects are now the status quo.
But addicted to the self-effects: no.
Addicted to making my life easier and more fun: probably.
I always find myself reaching for my instant shine and having a big sniff of the bottle when Im sitting att he computer. I wouldnt say its addictive though.
Wash your mouth out!
I tend to sniff cinnamon. Sniffing a cinnamon stick increases mental alertness and memory recollection.
maybe we can get some opinions from those who are not phero master guides…
I believe you do have 5 opinions from people who are not master guides.
While it is my job to answer your questions I will give a honest answer even if it dosnt reflect well on a product.

So, according to you, it is “technically” impossible to be addicted to gambling?
To the guy who started this thread: You bring up a great query, just remember who it is you are getting these ‘technical’ facts from.
Tryin’ to run a business here. Im not saying that makes them wrong, just not exactly the “technical” correct answer.
I suggest you read what he wrote.
You can not get Physically addicted to pheromones. Gambling is a psychological dependance not a Physical addiction. He did say you could get a psychological dependance
Futhermore I work for Pherotalk not for Androtics. I can not see your orders, I do not get paid by them to make sales.
Gegogi is a member here, a very experienced pheromone user and a really smart and honest person. He is not a employee of Androtics.
Jasmin Mharris and SteveO are the only employees of Androtics on board.
Tisha
whooaaaaaa!!!
I dont remember saying anything remotely close to you being paid by whatever. And for your information (which you know as well as i do) you work for Androtics. Maybe not directly, but indirectly. There is a very clear correlation between Androtics and Pherotalk.
Secondly. I read what he wrote. He said “it is technically impossible to be addicted to Pheromones…perhaps psychological dependence”… hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… perhaps it IS possible to be addicted to pheromones. Just by going off what Gegogi said. His words not mine.
Thirdly, I suggest you read what I wrote before you go telling me to read what someone else wrote.
Fourthly, guy who started this thread. It is QUITE possible to be addicted to pheromones, just like gambling/drugs/sex/etc. Be careful about your business, and dont listen to these jokers telling you that “there is no possible way to be addicted to these substances”… a lot of jibber jabber with not a lot of facts backing it up… they are just the possibly biased possible unbiased opinions of some of the people that work directly and indirectly with the website that makes money off of whether you think pheromones are addictive or not.
saifz, you probably wont get to read any of my comments since the ‘admins’ will probably delete the unbiased opinion from the anonymous guy who is not on the payroll, so I will email you what I wrote in hopes of giving you a fair amount of info regarding this matter.
The admins here dont delete any posts, if anything they take in criticism of products and work them into the next versions. If you want it to be addictive or innefective then there isnt much point trying to say otherwise.
By your logic, its possible to be addicted to sticking your hands into garbage disposal units, in which case yes, Instant shine is addictive.
What Gegogi was trying to say, and what Tish emphasized in her post is that its physiologically impossible to be addicted to pheromones but not to have a psychological addiction.
You can have a psychological addiction to anything if you have an addictive personality.
Lastly, you havent even been here a month and claim to know that these products can cause addiction despite alot of very experienced users (not board/androtics employees) saying otherwise.
Ahhh so your not saying we get paid your saying we are jokers who are bias in our opinions (snort) ![]()
Ok I see which way the wind is blowing, You entitled to your opinion just as we are entitled to ours. Course ours comes from years of mone experience and training.
Just for the record we dont delete people’s posts for stating there opinion good or bad. However be careful with the name calling cause that will get you banned. ![]()
Have a nice day

In my opinion they would not delete or edit posts, except for spam or illegal topics.. Since the forum is based in America speaking your mind is not illegal.
Back on topic-
People with addictive personalities, who get hooked on different things, for my example, Caffeine would be my best guess for closest to Instant Shine.
So a caffeine addiction is a slow building thing. When you start using you start with a little and it makes you feel good, more alert, able to do things faster. The trouble is that as you use it, it takes more to have the same effect. Then when you try and stop you get headaches and feel more lethargic than you really are.
I am not sure if Pheromones could be a physical or chemical addiction, but the rush from their self-effects could be found addictive to some. This is because use of synthetic pheromones can cause your body to release some of it’s own chemicals in higher quantities. So I guess you could get addicted to the rush, as your brain processes the extra chemicals in your blood; be them extra hormones, gasses or fluids.
(none of this is proven, but based on basic logical arguments. as smelling somethings can cause your body to release basic chemical markers has been shown, but what and how much is released can vary from person to person)
Now pheromones are not like an addiction to caffeine or crack where if you try and stop your body is not as likely to go through the same withdrawal symptoms of a sever chemical addiction.
tisha said “You entitled to your opinion just as we are entitled to ours. Course ours comes from years of pheromone experience and training.”
Yours also comes from years of paychecks that stem from the profitability of pheromones.
When considering the negative/harmful effects of pheromones: my opinion > your opinion
bottom line, pheromones can be addictive. The blatant lies about “impossible that pheromones are addictive” really shows just how skewed your opinions are.
I had no problem with this little site and what it represents, seems like a decent idea with a lot of users and backers, but I have a huge problem with you telling someone that these products “are in no way addictive” when they actually can be.
oh, and Tisha, I AM saying you get paid by this site and Androtics, because you know you do.
Always consider the motives behind the people who are giving you “advice”. We know Tisha’s motives, what are mine? What do I gain out of telling someone that pheromones could possibly be addictive?
I’m afraid your ill informed, I have never made one dime off Pheromones. I am a postal worker from CT and if you bothered to read the forum you would realize that.
As far as I know Gegogi has never made a profit from pheromones. I believe he is a college professor.
Yes I work on the forum but I do not work for Androtics. I am a Pheromone users and buyer just like the rest of you. I just happened to have a passion for them so I have learned as much as I can absorb about them. Sure I get discounts for what I do here but I do not get paid.
I would even go as far as to say I am bias toward Androtics but not because I work on this forum. I work on this forum because I love their products and the people I meet here. I have and use many products from many different companies. These products are the top of the line in my opinion which is why I am here.
You have a huge problem casting judgment without knowledge to back it as well as selective reading. There are many kinds of addictions and I believe we made clear that no you can not become physically addicted to the products. It was stated you can become psychologically Dependant which is a mental condition not a Physical condition. Mones never enter the blood stream. The molecules travel into the brain via the nasal passage and cause certain neurotransmitters to react. Your brain has a blood barrier you can not absorb them into the blood stream therefore you can not become physically addicted to them. Addiction is a Physical condition. Dependence is a mental condition.
If you have proof that Pheromones are Physically addictive I suggest you present that proof.
