Are Putative Pheromones not Found in Nature?

So putatives are like artificially made pheromones? As an analogy, THC is a cannibinoid found in marijuana. It’s what gives you the effect. You can buy what’s called “legal bud” which has an artificially made (not found in nature) cannibinoid. So you get high off the artificial canniboid but it’s a different high. It is still a cannibinoid but is synthetic, meaning a different chemical make up but still retains cannibinoid properties. Are putative pheromones those that are not found in nature? If this is not the case, it would be interesting to maintain the pheromonal make up of a pheromone, but alter it somehow with another chemical. In other words, it would still be a pheromone, but not one that any person makes naturally. Then it really could be possible to find that one pheromone that has women dropping at your feet.

Everything AD makes are synthetic pheromones. Androsterone, Androstenone, Androsenol, MEO EST, TAA, they’re all made from petroleum distillates from what I’ve read around here. The putative series are in testing which may or may not be a pheromone. Some I’ve found were like pheromones, and some I’m still having trouble noticing the effect.
