Aromatherapy is an occult??

First thing that I want to say is that I just love using Pheromones. I wish I could tell everybody about pheromones. However I don’t think people would take it too kindly considering that some people think that practicing aromatherapy is part of the occult. Is this true? I’m not trying to say it in a bad way. I’m not trying to be bias towards or against pheromones. All I know is that these products changed my life. I looked up the word occult and the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary states that, " occult**:** to shut off from view or exposure." If this is the case a lot of the things that we do as professionals and as practices could be considered “occults” because everything is kind of hidden from plain view until someone shows us with proof what is hidden ( a topic, an idea, a theory, or whatever). Then it is up to the person to understand and accept what is taught to them as true facts or a revelation of what has be reviled to them. What do you guys think? Would you care if someone labels you as an occultist if they found out that you used pheromones?

The way I see it the full potential use of pheromones can only be possible as an occult. If everyone knew about pheromones there would be a myriad of complications in terms of conceptualizing everyone using them at the same time. Labels plague the world either way and being added on the occultist list would only make me pedigree more specific than before

The day we see Ammunition or NPA on the shelves in stores for everyone to see and consume the day it’ll be literally the end of pheromones in the coming days afterwards. It perplexes me why no company has come straight out and started to market pheromones to the general public seeing as how it could become a trillion dollar industry in and of itself.

I think your confusing occult the verb with occult the noun which is a little different.

The verb is as you stated above but I think people are referring to the noun when they say that .

The noun for occult is … : matters regarded as involving the action or influence of supernatural or supernormal powers or some secret knowledge of them **—used with **the as in the occult.

I would say no on both counts.

This is why…

Pheromones are not supernatural they are natural.

They do not give you super powers. They are not magic. They do not negate a persons free will.

All humans make them and secrete them although you cant see them. That would mean every human would be part of the occult.

Aromatherapy is not used by the occult either. Its used by people of all walks of life including the catholic church who burns different incense for different purposes. Johnson and Johnson uses aroma therapy in there baby lavender calming lotion.

You will run into people who have no understanding of the world around them. Dont let it bother you its there downfall not yours.

Oh and no I dont care if someone said I am part of the occult. I would however correct them. I am a witch not a occultist LOL
