that is nothing…there are people on basenotes that have 300 bottles, and some who have 600+

that’s crazy. do they own a fragrance store? i think that’s too extreme. reminds of people who have a shoe fetish and have hundreds or thousands of pair of shoes.

I was recently in Sephora and their was a new Jean Paul Gaultier called fleur de male which sounds kind of crazy but it smells of wild flowers and honey, but in a manly sort of way. It is great people can’t stop smelling it. I put a little on the bend of my arm so that i can smell it and it diffuses better than on the wrist.

I like alot of them lol, went to the department store over the weekend and test a bunch of them.
right now i currently have lacoste essential, i don’t think its anything to rave over, i got it for a gift from a friend, deferentially something i wouldn’t buy lol.

And I have angle men pure malt, its a limited edtion run by Thierry Mugler. They describe the smell as

Yeah, one of my current favorite fragrances, Guerlain Spiritueus Double Vanille, is actually classified as a woman’s scent. Probably due to the predominating vanilla scent. However, you should never let that throw you off a scent you like, in my opinion. If i enjoy it, then the rest of you lot can get over yourselves.

That’s why i refuse to buy fragrances from stores that try to tell me “oh, you don’t want that one, it’s for older people” or “that one is too sweet for a guy to wear”. If i want an opinion on what to wear, i’ll ask, but don’t tell me what i like and what i should wear. Sorry for the rant.

I am just newbie to the scent world. Just started to use cologne in about a year, and in about a month to pheros.

for cologne, I love the smell of the following:

Curve: my favorite, smells so great, not overpowering, last about 10+ hours on my skin.

Cool Water: great to have, smell great, last all day long.

Joop: overpowering at first, but after about 1 hour, it smells so great. Last for a very long time (unless i wash it out IMO). Good for warm weather.

Gucci Envy: so sweet, women can’t get enough of it. Last all day and night long. This works great great on cold weather, but not in hot weather. If the temperature is over 25, it is not a good idea to use this IMO, sweet against heat, not a great idea.

Versace Man Eau Fraiche: sweet ans aluring, but not so sweet as Envy. Good for any occasion/time.

M going to buy Creed GIT, AcuaDiGio, L’eau D’essey, Chrome, D&G The One, and Le male for my next order.

If you test for your favorite cologne, first try to spray it on the paper, which privide by the DS, then when you fine a scent you love, try spraying it on you, to see if if work on you as well. From my experience, some cologne smell great on paper, but not on man; some not so good on paper, but smell so great on man.

I love cologne.
